Hi folks,Just looked at both LSD 767 videos and except for the visual model of the airplane the following things didn't look too promising.Sure, as a 767 captain I AM picky, but maybe a few things can/will be changed before the release.1. The noticable differences between the 2D and 3D panel. E.g. no standby instruments on the 2D panel. Map switches which aren't there in the real plane. I DO hope that the gauge update rates in the VC are fluid, because I prefer to fly in an 767 cockpit that has the same layout like the real thing. Today, early afternoon, a dear friend and a devoted pilot and simmer lost his young life in a plane crash.Nimrod Gershuny was almost addicted to 767PIC, ever since it first day, and was very excited about the incoming LDS 767. He was a dear friend, always willing to help with his big smile and ever lasting patience.I felt I should write here in his memory, in the place he loved so much.I wish to pass my deepest condolences to Nimrod's family and to the families of the other two souls who lost their life in this accident.May god have mercy on their souls.Ilan

Hi,In the Big Boeing FMC User's Guide (page 31), it states that FIR and UIR boundaries can be shown as part of the FMC route to indicate where a boundary begins/ends (e.g. FIR19).Would anyone be able to answer the following for me:1. Is this a basic airline procedure or is it airline specific?2. Are the numbers assigned in order of passing, i.e. the first boundary in the route will be named FIR01, the next FIR02 etc? Or is there some other structure in numbering these points?I'm thinking of implementing this in our BAV company routes, so any information would be more than welcome.Cheers.

Looking for help manipulatng the left rear and right rear views so that I can sit over the wing. Is this possible in FS2002? From the cockpit, the left rear view in PIC767, for example, shows a bitmap of the inside of the cockpit window with a view as would be seen with the pilot having his head turned to the left/rear. Was there not a small utility available around the time 767PIC was released that would convert .rte flightplan to a .pln flightplan(or .pln to .rte)or other formats(I know fsbuild does something similar)?Thanks

Didn't see this posted here, but Gamespy put up a list of the 25 best fixed-wing flight games of all time and PIC ranked #23. They're being pretty liberal in their definition of flight games by including console stuff like Star Wars Rouge Squadron, Crimson Skies, and Ace Combat, but I think it's pretty amazing that PIC was included and that they thought enough of it to consider it a sim in it's own right, even though it's an MSFS addon. I have just uploaded the beta version of SIDs, STARs and IAPs for the 767 PIC version 1, to the avsim file library. Please make a backup of your current files in case the beta does not work for you. Install instructions are in the 'read this first' file. Please read so you know where to unzip the file.There are two files, 767PIC_Other_0411_Beta and 767PIC_KP_0411_Beta. The first file is for airport ICAOs that start with something other than a 'K' or a 'P'. These are generally airports that are not in the U.S.. HelloLike most people I am eagerly awaiting the release of the new767 for FS9. However, seeing the similarities between the 767and the 757, would it be feasible to also release a 757 versionshortly after the 767? I'm just thinking that perhaps you could easily tweak the 767 to make a 757 version based on all the 767finished code, etc. Since I'm not an expert programmer, wouldthis sort of thing be possible?Thanks

Hi all. I have been producing worldwide SIDs/STARs/IAPs (terminal procedures) for the PMDG 737NG, most of the PSS aircraft and the Aviograsf A340. I am adding the 767 even though it is an old sim as I believe there are still a lot of 767 PIC drivers out there. So, is anyone interested in getting current DAFIF derived terminal procedures for the Wilco 767 PIC version 1? In a day or three I intend to release cycle 0411 beta so keep your eyes open here for the announcement. Very large DL though as it looks like the 30,000 or so, files are going over 10 megs.RegardsTerry
