Hello, I was looking at a pic of the real 767 pedestal and noticed a test button on the ILS box. Is this test button pushed on the fist flight of the day? Or is this for maintenance use only? Thank you :-wave

I just put the IVSI (VSI & TCAS) in my PIC which i just installed again in fs2k4--I cannot seem to get any AI traffic to show up--I do have FSUIPC and it is version 3.129 dated 12/8/03, I do not have AI bridge, and i did not find out where to set the Traffic to 40 nm in FSUIPC any ideas to get it to work is great? I cannot get any traffic to show up--it is in TA/RA mode!

Hi guys, during the PicOnVatsim(which was great imho) i had a little discrepancy in my plane, it only showed when airborne, i decided it not too big importance so continued the flight.here is the attached screenshot, appearantly, the magnetic heading varies over 20 degrees with the true heading...does anyone know why the magvar is increased like this?CheersPS: the track(TRK) and heading(HDG) are practically the same so that is not a factor eitherhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/54555.jpg

Hello,What is the maximum ZFW for the 757-200? As I am using Tero's fde and in the PIC fmc i can only enter the minimum ZFW 82,000kgs, anything less won't allow.I converted that into lbs which is 180,728lbs. I changed the ZFW in the aircraft.cfg and it should be ok.I was just wondering what the max ZFW was. As I like entering a real ZFW but using charts for things like approach speeds.Have a merry xmas.Regards,Alexander Martin.

Maybe, I am to early with these wishes, but I would really like to wish all members of the PIC development team a very nice Christmas! You have provided us with a wunderfull add-on from FS2000, which is still the absolute favorite for a BIG couple of us! Very, very encouraging that you are working on a PIC v2, so there will be a reason to buy FS2004 :) :)But for the next days: relax aside programming tasks and enjoy the Christmas days!with best regardsAndreas HermesEDDH

Hi! First of all, it's my first time to post up here, though I've been a lurker for a loong time! Everyone's been a great help.. Anyway, to the questions!1. I recently got my self a set of 5.1 surround speakers, and set my Windows sound settings to match that (control panel->audio/sounds->advanced) Everything in FS works fine (and much better!) except I don't hear the GPWS altitude and warning sounds..Are there any known bugs -- or better.. any solutions? :)2. Hehe..this has been asked a million times but I keep forgetting.. whats the link to the PIC flying club? D-oh! :)thanks!mike

The realism settings are on max. I still cannot control the aircraft on one engine???It must be something very simple I am doing wrong?? Has anyone any more ideas?? Thanks for everone's help to date and merry chrismas and a happy new year.[flaps.1]// This is necessary to make POSKY's leading edge slats work. Hi,Tonight I completed a series of flights in VATSIM to test out Van's FDE for the 757. I was very sceptical, as I didn't have that good experiences with Iz's original airfile, and the recent POSKY trial was a nightmare.Ok, here's the background information.ZFW=159,000lbs + 13,200lbs fuel (6t metric) = 172,200 lbs GWFirst, let's look at takeoff reference speeds. Normal flap-setting as per Finnair SOP is FLAP5.From tables we get V1=127Vr=130V2=137By entering a bogus ZFW of 114.9t(metric) into FMC at this stage, we get it to show:V1=122Vr=129V2=140So the rotation speed is almost dead on, other speeds are a bit off, but not disturbingly much. Works a o.k.First, the taxiing. …

Would one of you fine chaps please send me the merge for the POSKY 757 - 767PIC Panel with modified FDE's? I believe it was put together by Van but I am new to the 767PIC and I am unsure. Right now I am only interested in getting the 757 to fly realistically (with the 767PIC panel)in FS2002.Please send to:[email protected],Jason

As most of you have noticed, there has not been much more information on the status of the new 767 that Wade, Laurent and Pedro are working on. All I can say, to you the fans, is good things are bound to be coming down the road. If a project takes a long time in the making, it is almost 100% guaranteed to be amazing! Here...Look at the comparisons between a good roast of beef dinner and a fast food hamburger. You may get the hamburger fast and woof it down only to discover after five minutes, you have this feeling of remorse that you even ate it. You may even get frequent trips to the outhouse as part of the trade. With a fine roast beef, you get the wonderful aromas of …

Sirs,If you are instructed to climb straight ahead after depature to a certain altitude before turning on track to "some waypoint" how do you program that into the FMC?Perhaps you just have to fly the departure manually then when on track tell the FMC to fly direct to the waypoint?Cheers,Paul
