Hi all, I have just finally completed my first successful flight with the PIC, but now want to use a more frame friendly model. I have been trying to merge the PIC panel to the Opensky 767 300ER using the B763 PIC Posky3 merge, but keep get the error message in the MSDos window "This folder does not appear to be a subfolder of FS2002aircraft". Any ideas why this is happening? And yes, it is in the aircraft folder and I have followed the enclosed directions. With the Charity Flight going on, I got the urge to fly the PIC and am now getting hooked. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Folks,Just reinstalled my 767PIC 'cause it looks like I have to get onto the 767 in February. While browsing through the manuals I noticed that quite a few features seem to be missing in 767PIC.the amber maneuvering speed is missing from the speed tape.all autothrottle limits are missing: FLAP LIM, ALPHA, SPD LIM.all pitch limits are missing: FLAP LIM, SPD LIM.Question #1: Have I overlooked something ?Question #2: Will these features be there in PIC2.Question #3: Is it likely that PIC2 will be available before Feb 04 ?RegardsBernt Stolle Capt CRJ

Hi,I just copied my 767PIC from FS2002 to FS9. In general it works inwin mode perfekt just like in FS2002 but when undocking panels in window mode on my 3 additional monitors, I get regular video and sound stutters (like a machine gun) for 1 sec. every few (5-15) seconds. Does anybody have the same problem or a solution for this ?I tried every video, sound and system settings, but nothing helps. What I discoverd is, that putting a window on the second monitor ofmy AGP GF 2 MX400 doesn't produce so much stutters. Putting the Window on a monitor of my 2 additional TNT2-PCI-cards produces the stutters again. When putting the panels in window mode on the 3 monitors and then …

Does anyone know whether OBK ever got a final fix for his 767/757 sound package for the PIC that was on this forum back in July? I went through the old posts and there were some issues with the A/C Pack sounds and a few other issues, I guess ACA856 at Work (Rob Hall) had some issues with his gear extending uncommanded when using the new sounds. Did everyone stop using the sounds or did OBK get it all worked out? I downloaded the sound package today but haven't installed them. I understand Teropa was doing some of the beta testing for it. any response would be appreciated

Today I flew from EGKK to TXKF and had a problem manually tuning the NAV1 radio. For approach I had to use runway 12 VOR/DME approach rather than the preferred ILS runway 30. No problem, got the chart, flicked the switch to MAN and tuned in the BDA VOR at 113.90. Continuing my approach I look up to see the button back at AUTO and my VOR tuning is gone...no luck when I switched back to MAN as it is also tuning in the ILS. So I decide to tune via FMC and enter BDA into the VORL, sure enough it shows BDA 113.90 M so we are all set. On final approach 10 miles out, I lose it again and I was not visual yet...minor panic!!! Anyway got it tuned again via MAN button on MCP and…

I haven't flown the 767 for a while while trying FS04 out. I wanted to go back to the 767 for awhile and upon loading FS02 and the 767, the engine rev/start sound was playing in an endless loop. It would rev up, fade out, and repeat constantly. Upon reloading it did the same thing. It seems I couldn't start the engines, instead the start sound kept repeating even after clicking on the fuel controls. Did I miss something? I know it's been awhile since I flew the 767. Thanks.

Hi,Mikael Kuusela has modified the PIC767 main panel according to Finnair 757 fleet. We adjusted many minor things, biggest of which is the MCP appearance: LCD displays with blue backlighting that is currently found in Finnair's newest 757s.Also, many small things have been adjusted to fit the Finnair fleet. You can find two screenshots from exactly the same place at the same time, that compare the original PIC767 panel AND the new Finnair B757 modification. The shots are at FSNordic's Finnish screenshot forum, and the first one is taken from PIC767 original config, and the one below is from the modification.http://www.fsnordic.net/discussion/index.p...&threadid=16059I…

Wade,Please contact me at [email protected]. I have some pics I would like to show you regarding a project with Flight1 many moons ago. I was accused of being the sole reason for the cancellation of that project, yet I want to show you what I did during that time, and how I do not think I was responsible.best regardsFraser

I would greatly appreciate if someone could email me the .dll file since I have somehow managed to reverse engineer it to an older version and am missing the thrust reversers on my yoke immensely. Please email it to [email protected] alot folks.P.S. I am aware of version 3.x and will be registering it when I upgrade to FS2004 and PIC v2

I've been trying to assign the autopilot heading indicator to buttons 3&4 on my CH flight yoke but with no luck. Has anyone been able to do this? A while back when I was first into PIC767 I thought I had success assigning the speed bug to yoke buttons but I can't seem to do that now either. Any help would be appriciated. Oh, and I have looked in the key assigments and tryed the "heading bug indicator increment/decrement" Autopilot commands, but nothing or I should say the the bug moves on the EHSI display but not in the MCP heading indicator and so the plane doesn't move, the two positions disagree.Zan

Hi!My new 757/767 checklists are now available. There were some major changes to the lists, and now the lists are _very_ close to Finnair's real-life 757 checklist. Of course, with obvious customizations to make it fully compatible with 767PIC and simulator-flying.I trust that you will enjoy using these lists as much as I did making them!Soon available from AVSIM library, but temporarily available from here as well:http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~partanen/B752cv20.zipregards,Tero

Is it me or when 'flying' through turbulence with VNAV engaged, the speed always decays away, this is especially apparant when one overrides VNAV speed. VNAV 'forgets' to maintain speed and pitches the aircraft up, and without pilot intervention, I'm pretty sure it would end up stalling. When flying in smooth air this is never an issue - PIC performs flawlessly.Any thoughts welcomed - am I the only one with this problem?

Not totally out of topic, the post may fit in both this forum and the Cockpit builders but I preffer to post it here since here are the pilots of the 767PIC.Does anyone made FSBUS work with the PIC767 panel? I think Tero you have done something like this? Do I remember correctly? How hard is it and how is this achieved, taking into account that FSBUS talks to FS via FSUIPC to the standard FS variables, and PIC does not use those?Any help appreciated. Thanks!George DorkofikisAthens, Greece

Hi,Of course, as the POSKY757 is now out, what we need is a MERGE!!I fired the new aircraft up in FS9 with Lonny's panel (didn't have the effects file yet, though), and all I can say is that she is a true beauty. Although, I have to say that the non-flexing wings are bit of a bummer, because the 757 looks mighty gracious in the air with its wings flexed a bit. Especially during the flare. At EFOU there's a possibility to stand 30 meters from the threshold, so I've observed a few 757s landing there :). Anyway, out of curiosity I decided to check their FDE as well. I took the bird out for a spin, and carefully calculated every possible speed from my real-world tables and ch…

This is a bit off topic, but it does involve the pic767.(Clipped from CVA website)---------------------------------------CharityFlight 2003 Takes Off November 6, 2003 On November 5th I'm aboard HQ582 from Vancouver to Toronto to join the CharityFlight team to help raise funds for Toronto Hospital for Sick Children (and BC Children's). Once in Toronto, I'm off to the Carlingview Airport Inn, and 48 hours of NON-STOP virtual flying (and some other fun as well). We will be navigating around the world in the pic767, touching down at over 25 different locations. Last year I joined the group from my home computer in Vancouver. We stopped in 26 cities: Halifax, St. John's, Manch…
