I have noticed that there are some in this forum that come in all wiss and vinegar, and ask the general population the same questions over and over again. First of all, there is a search button in the forum that works good. Look into it.Second, If your question can not be answered by the search button function, then it had better be support related for PIC767 in FS2002, or you may/will get wizzed on by a few persons who go unmentioned. And it will be a good wizzing.Third, if you are asking about a V2-767 or a patch, the answers is "no". We don't know and "no" it does not work.So there you have it! Now get ready for a golden shower.

First of all, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Luke, a 1st year aviation-major student at St Cloud State University, Minnesota, USA. I used to frequent the avsim.com boards until they switched to the new format around early March 2003. But I'm sure you guys don't want to hear all of this mumbo-jumbo, so I'll get right on to the juicy part that interests you all. :-)I know BBall through frugalsworld.com , and about a month ago we managed to arrange a tour at the Northwest Aerospace Training Company (NATCO) building, to check out their sims and all. And since I normally live only 45 minutes from him, I drove down and met up with him and a friend of his. And so we drove off…

Hi all, during the last 3 days i have received over 2.200 mails from user of all over the world, from children to adults, from flightsim-gurus to beginners. I would say thanks, thanks a lot for all these mails. I have read it all, but i

Hi there,in thread #715 we discussed some nosediving strange aircraft behaviour probably due to an autopilot issue. Now I got some news:I my case it looks like, that once I switch the "flight control" failures to "all failures" (not "minor failures", all other failures don't matter...), then no matter whether I choose 1 failure per hour or 1 failure per month, the flight controls actuated be the autopilot go insane, and I get the airplane behaviour discussed in the thread mentioned above.Could somebody confirm this?Thanx,Cheers Jan Schoenefeld. In my effort to learn the FMC I have been trying to follow some tutorials written by Chris Willis at BAV and another by Tom Evans at Speedbird. These tutorials refer to inputing airways that have "U" prefixes. Well and good, but the FMC database does not have them. FSNav and FS Build do have them. I have updated the navdata to each as they were issued. Is there something I am too blind to see here? These tutorials are very helpfull at least for me, my thanks to them both. Thanks, Sinbad

It would be good than the new FMC would be as minimum as the 737Dreamfleet one. This FMC has all the STARS,SIDS, and are more easy to config. When you select a STAR and you choose the transition point, inmediatly, the FMC calculate and paint the path to the final aproach (aprox 10 milles in direct aproach to the runway).767PIC don

Hi, i have become a regular reader of this forum and learnt much from it, but this is my first post: a question about take-off power settings.I am aware that for cost & engine longevity reasons, de-rated power take-offs are normal procedure in real-life.Today i have downloaded the new file '767_PIC_checklist.zip' from AVSIM. I was particularly interested to see the 'thrust reference' table giving what i assume are the temperatures to enter into the FMC for a de-rated take-off, and the resultant N1 power setting. My question: is there a table or graph available anywhere (even approximate - i realise that this is a simulation) showing aircraft weight & runway length…

Would some one direct me to the link to download the patch to get 767 up and running on FS2004? I go to initial training on the 757 in January and need to get some procedural training before I go. I can be reached at [email protected]. Thanks Will

What happened to all the SID/STARS that came with the current AIRAC? The last few drops have had only a few major airports. Am I confused here or did they a while back ago have a very good global selection of SID/STARS that installed into the FMCWP/NAVDATA/SIDS or STARS folders? If I am confused, please point me to an All-In-One file that has a large selection of SID/STARS that can be used for 767 PIC and 737 TNG. Thanks.Steve

Hello, some days ago I asked if someone knows the problem about some missing PIC-sounds (A/P-disconnect, A/T-disconnect, altitude warning). Now it seems I found a solution:The sounds disappear after any panel resizing. I used to start FS2002 in window mode, then switched to fullscreen -> sounds are gone. After starting direct in fullscreen mode, everything is ok.If I need to switch to another application I use Ctrl-Tab.Matthias Huck

Hi,I refrain to post subjects that have scent of I am bolder, bigger, can p** further, etc. I have put my flame proof jacket on so I am ready for flame punches.Lately, unfortunately I have noted increased ammount of "experts" on forums. Especially, unfortunatelly again, on PMDG forum. Sure, there are real life pilots on these boards, there are also simulator pilots and there are those... ahem... "pilots" that know better than real-life pilots. It is interesting how persons that get hold on AOM, FCTM, and other aircraft related material, position themselves as being more knowledgeable even than pilots... Well... Do you, AOM, FCTM, you_name_it_operation_manual, owners really…

It's been that long since I flew PIC, that I can't recall the ZFW that the FMC uses. I tried looking for it in aircraft.cfg, but that didn't seem to work either. Where does PIC get that info from, the .cfg file or is it internally programmed? In any event, can someone please tell me the figure to use in the PIC FMC?Thanks,Bruce.

We are working on an update of the 767 that will contain some new features. The exact details are subject to change, but some of the new features will probably include:Addition of winds in FMC.Modelling of most or all special waypoint types in procedures.Improved CRT displays.Networked panel components such as CRTs.Dual CDUs.An SDK that will allow 3rd party programs to interface directly with the sim.Other things. At this time there is no plan for a new visual aircraft model or VC. Those are both possibilities but not decided and not currently being worked on. As you know we are most interested in functionality and completeness of simulation, so that is where our efforts…

So, What would be the new features of 767PIC?? just to fly in FS2004?As I see there are too many people that want to make people think that 767PIC doesn,t run in fs2004 with the patch, because there is a high interest for selling to many copies of the new version. I can tell you that it runs perfectly. The patch it

I think is last version of dispatcher.I think anyway, that dispatcher is a great implementation of Rob's fuel planner. With this version the Excel navigation menu work properly. The update of the airac doesn't work; these are the bugs:The location of source files of airac (FMCWP folder) is not parametrated (TEXT:F:FS2002etc....), instead, for instance, the cell where you put the source path of 767 flightplans, in flight plan page. You must enter in VB Project to change it, anyway, also if you change the path of files, airac updates doesn't work because :When you update runways, the procedure starts, but return error. When you update airports, doesn't start because probably A…
