Can anyone advise me on updating the waypoints or something in the FMC i can hardly fly anywhere east from the UK because the database is obviously incomplete. The US is adequately covered i think but anything towards the eastern areas is not covered at all. Is there anywhere or anyway to update this data. Thanks

Hi there,At this moment I use Lee's new TCAS gauge in combination with an "old" version of FSUIPC (2.975). It works great. Can I expect any problems with the TCAS gauge when I should use an unregistered version of the new FSUIPC (3.02)?Thanks in advance,Alje Bakker

The name is ilh_tcas_v3.zip and it can be downloaded here: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=34025&CatID=Root.This works in both FS2002 and FS2004, including with FSUIPC 3 even if you do not have a registered copy.If you already have the previous version, there is no real need to download this one. There is only one small fix included that is not related to FS2004: threats and potential threats that would otherwise be off screen are drawn right at the edge of the VSI scale so you see their bearing. I had broken that capability in the last release and only noticed it when ACA856 was trying to run me down from behind and was just beyond 2nm.Lee Hetherington (K…

Hello again, I just came across a diagram showing the take-off procedure and climb out. One thing caught my eye was this remark at 1000Ft "15 degree bank limit until reaching maneuvering speed for configuration" I know there is no 40 degree bank protection if you retract -20knots below maneuvering speed but I thought you can retract your flaps -20 below maneuvering speed and still bank 25 degrees. Or does this just mean that you cannot turn while retracting flaps? Plus lets say flaps 5 is set does the -20Knots retraction below flap 1 bug mean you that you have to be at the flap 1 bug by the time the flap runs to the 1 position? I hope I don't sound too confusing here. :-w…

This past Saturday, July 26, I was making a scavenger hunt for a copy of MS FS2K4 and went into the Duluth, Georgia MicroCenter and there was a single copy of 767 Pilot in Command on the shelves.I noticed in the past there have been lots of questions from folks who missed out on this incredible add-on and where they can find it.Well, here it is. Please, if you already own a copy, allow someone else who does not own it have the opportunity to grab it from themselves.I have no idea if this store will be willing to ship to another state, but it would not hurt to ask. Here is their phone number: (770) 689-2540. Their address is 2340 Pleasant Hill RoadDuluth, GA 30096 Th…

I've been inactive from both flight simming and this forum for the past 7 months or so. I do know Lee built a TCAS gauge, but I was wondering what else is new? is there any panels that finally had equaled PIC in the level of quality/realism? what about captain's sim 1.3 update or the Ready for Pushback package? can somebody please give me a quick update? (PIC related). Thanks,

Hello, can someone please help me clarify these 2 things. The Take-off ref page has 2 entries that I am still not sure about. The Ref OAT on page 2, (I don't mean the Reduced Thrust entry on page 1) I read somewhere that this is used as a reference for the actual outside air temperature. This value would be more accurate than the OAT indicated on the EICAS since that value is subject to errors on the ground. Is this correct? So no entry is required here for your take-off numbers? Also The Runway Position entry on take-off ref page 1, Is the value entered here how many feet down the runway you plan to engage the A/T and used to automatically update FMC position during the …

Just to make sure - it isn't possible to change the OEW of PIC rite? But,If I were to add something like this.......max_gross_weight= xxxxxx.xx....... to the aircraft.cfg weight section could I implement diff MTOW's for each of my 767's? Or would this mess up stuff? Thanks

I am about to go out and buy FS2004, but I would like to know, as I'm sure others, just exactly what works and what doesnt with 767PIC in 767, known bugs, corrections, and any patches someone would need to install. Everyone can refer to this thread for most of their 767PIC FS2k4 compatibility questions. Thanks!-Justin

Hi I'm using the latest version of Lee H's TCAS/IVSI addon but I can see no other multiplayer traffic. Currently flying on Vatsim opposite direction traffic passed me at my level 4nm away and no returns on the gauge.I'm using SB over WideFS V6.0. I'm using TCP/IP for my multiplayer sessions and as suggested previously I'm letting Aibridge connect to the session before SB does (Aibridge on the client machine along with WideDS & SB). I'm using a registered copy of FSUIPC 3 although I had the same problem previously with V2.975.I've tried all sorts of combinations of things in an attempt to get things working with no luck!Anyone?

"FS2002 model of the sailing ship "HMS Endeavour" which was used by famous Pacific Ocean explorer Captain James Cook in the 18th century. You can can also sail through the air..."I wonder if through the magic of Ponsky we can get the PIC767 panel to work with Captain Cook's flagship?Maybe Daryl Shuttleworth can advise in this matter after his successful Plymouth Voyager and PIC767 merge.Rob.PS - Didn't Cook get eaten by cannibal's or something? Poor barstad.

Hello, I have read every post on reduced thrust but could not find the answer to this question. Reduced thrust is not recommended when there is standing water, windshear, ice, snow, etc. If this is the case do they mean leave the D-TO entry blank on the FMC or insert the current temperature into the field? Also does anyone know what should be the minimum runway length before reduced thrust is used? :-) Thank You

Hi all,Long time, no post.I have a question about the braking effects on the 767PIC.The question was raised in our VA forum, but I have searched this forum, and can't find the thread. That is enough background, on with the topicOne of pilots has commented that the manual brakes on the 767 seem to be to sensitive, and that a press of the (.) button applies a lot of brake action, with the result that the a/c bounces to a stop. From what I remember reading here, I have replied that with a keyboard press, or a key press mapped through a joystick, full brakes will be applied, but if the brakes are mapped through a rudder system with toe brakes the braking action can be more smoo…

After giving max speedbrake after landing the speedbrakes goes up again automaticly? Ive try the PIC on two differend systems one AMD and one Intel! On both machines the PIC reacts the same???Thanksvortovor

I just downloaded and installed the free version of FSBuild, FSBuild 1.4 and the upgrade to 1.43 last night. This is the first time I've used it and I think it's a great program for flight plans. I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't install it yet and is flying the B767 PIC.Once the program is setup it will export the flight plan directly into your FMCWPnavdataFlightPlans folder. If anyone has any questions just drop a POST under this Subject and I'm sure someone can help you out.http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/a...er1/fsbuild.htmHere's a short tutorial which I found helpful: http://www.tecpilot.com/users/erniealston/JGordonTut.htmThe FAA websight for Prefe…

I was making a flight from EGHI to LEMD. According to FSNav4 the ILS is 109.30. According to PIC it was 110.30.As PIC hadn`t read any info on 110.30, I switched to the FSNav reading of 109.30 and a signal was received straight away which proved to be the right info for my landing.I updated the nav info on both FSNav4 and PIC recently and at the same time.I haven`t been using PIC for very long, and, as previously I had no problems, I was wondering if there`s something I`m doing incorrectly.I`d be grateful for some help.Cheerscrashproof

Hi everyone!A couple of months ago I announced myself as a newbie here and talked about how excited I was to get 767PIC going again on my computer. Finally, I have a computer that can really run FS along with PIC and it all really works with some decent frame rates! Anyway, I was really excited to try my first real AIRLINE simulation. Work kinda got in the way and I had to put PIC aside for a while. Well, work is winding down so I finally got a chance to try out 767PIC on a simulated airline flight! The experience was GREAT! And, it was a real good learning experience too. I
