Hello all.I noticed that in the RTE pages appears the Offset route option. Reading the 767 AOM, I'm try to insert an offset to the actual route that I was flow, but the FMC refuses to accept the entry. I had trying various formats, but without any succes. There is any posibility to command a route offset with PIC?Regards,Jose M. BarruezoSpain link:www.socair.org|http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/astropilot/logosoc5.jpg

Hey people. I was just searcing the wonderful World Air Routes site and I noticed this wierd picture from a DVD I am purchasing later today, I am wondering what those green arches stand for? maybe ADF freqs? I am completely at your explaination to this. I can't wait to get this DVD. Seeing as I've seen several Sobelair 763's (OO-SLR) at EBBR and the Sobelair 738 :-) also! HiTech question. On the real 767 does applying reverse thrust have much effect on slowing the aircraft, or does it just stop any unnecessary forward thrust? Also I've noticed in PIC that pressing F2 engages idle reverse but holding F2 spools the engines up and this does seem to have an effect of extra stopping power, is this accurate in the real thing and if so how are the engines spooled past idle reverse eg: what are the actual movements on the thrust levers? Many thanks for any helpPaul

Hello:Just wanted to place a note to thank all of those that came to celebrate with us the second anniversary of LABVirtual's creation. It was fun!We had 41 aircraft, many of them making multiple flights within the country and which kept us busy from 00Z to 05Z.Daniel Tangerman (DHL735) ported some very nice shots:http://www.dantan.de/fs2002/shots/index.ph...v=bilder&gal=18We'll see you soon again, here or there..Roberto

Hello my 767PIC buddies (and you know who you are/aren't).Have you had a hectic week, punching the clock and making the money?Or, have you been punching the money and making the clock?Either way, shake off your shackles. It is Friday, June 27, 2003.That means it's time to fly our 767's through VATSIM skies. Didn't Jimi Hendrix sing: "Excuse me while I VATSIM sky"?So, in the spirit of Mr. "Burn my Guitar" Hendrix, might I suggest that those of us who possess the noble souls of the venerable 767 pilot (and the wickedness of Mr. Hendrix)... may we not congregate together to celebrate the freedom of the weekend with a convoy departing from (pick one) Halifax/Montreal/Toronto …

Hi,The description of the problem at General Discussion:http://forums.avsim.com/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=116524&page=Has anyone here with the problem come up with a solution yet ?As a side note: I run FS2002 in WINDOWED mode, because I have three monitors that contain different parts of the panel. In FULL SCREEN I'm not able to move the mouse from one monitor to the other. I tried last night, and discovered that the FSUIPC keypress lag is significantly smaller when in FULL SCREEN. So the key might be it... it's weird though that I didn't have this problem before in the windowed mode.Tero

Hello fellow PIC flyers, I was just wondering which FDE you fellow pilots use with your PIC/POSKY merge? Right now I use Lee's merge but I saw POSKY has released some new FDE's (version 6.1) which are suppost to be compatible with PIC. I was just wondering what all you guru's out there are using and which one is more realistic.Thanks.

I had noticed that a few posts, including one of mine is absent since the system came back. Here is the reply concerning missing data on the forums._______________________________________________________"Anything after 9am GMT on the morning of the 21st (so yesterday) will have gone. The disk on which the forum database resided failed quite spectacularly, and so said database was recovered from our daily backups.Regards,--M"_________________________________________________________Mike Bevington

I like the rest of the minions here will rush out at first opportunity and contribute to Bill's retirement fund by purchasing FS2004. But lets look at it in reality - if you like 767 Pic, FS2004 offers you nothing to replace it - a bunch of old aircraft and some new choppers that some have already been done before anyway (DC3 - Robinson22 to name a few). Ok the clouds might be nicer and a few of the stock standard airports better (mostly in the US I see) and not up to the standard of some freeware and payware that I have for FS2002. I see no reason to remove FS2002 from my PC and at the moment I fail to see how FS2004 is going to improve flying for the "Big Jet" enthus…

Goodmorning,I use the PIC merged with POSKY for a long time, usually doing small trips not more than 2Hours.On saturday I desided to Fly from LGAV-KJFK on Vatsim, I loaded the 767 with 64Tones of Fuel downloaded weather and started the flight. Initially I climed to FL300. The problem was at cruize that although the A/T was commanding the engines to powerup the engines stayed at 90%N1 and sometimes even droped to 50%.At first I thought It was noise from the joystic so I Disc the koystick but the same rhink continued to happen. So I disc the A/T and flyied with manual thrust.Sometime I thougth to try the default PIC so I reloaded the aircraft selecting one of the original m…

Hi everyone,Ok, I've figured out how to fly the airplane around KLAX and work the FMC. 767PIC, what a cool program! My goal is to fly the most realistic airline flights possible using actual airline flight plans and checklists. I need some help to go from local VFR flights around KLAX to the airline sim flights that I want to fly. Before I start asking sim questions, does anyone know a guide to help an FS simmer fly airline flights? Or, have any of you made up a summary or maybe a "quickstart," airline sim overview to help get folks started? If so, some links, directions, references, or e-mails would be appreciated. Ok, onto the sim prep questions.1. How do I get a …

Hi everyone!I'm new here as this is my first post. Had a terrible time logging on and got ZERO help from the avsim forum moderator. I finally had to creat a completely new e-mail address and account. And now, the only way I can loggon now is to confiscate my wife's laptop! Anyway, I've been a HUGE 767 PIC fan for a long time.Unfortunately, in the past I never really had a computer that could do FS and 767PIC justice. (My last computer was a P-200MMX!) Well, I had to upgrade and now have a P4-1.7 with a GeForce2 card.Several months ago I was blowing some dust off my old disks and re-installed FS2002 pro. It worked great! OK, so I had to try 767PIC. Sure enough, af…

This is a great program but I have a few minor things. Perhaps you all have some thoughts.I am seeing a lot of fuel calculation problems here. I use exclusively the 767-300 aircraft (PIC and regular with CF6 engines), and I know the tables were carefully prepared by Mike Bevington and others. However, on many routes the fuel burn is completely off. One thing I have noticed is that on many flights, the time to climb to, for example, FL370 or FL390 is shown as less than 10 minutes with a fuel burn of perhaps a couple thousand lbs. At a weight of 280-300k lbs, there is no way that this is accurate. So the total fuel needed is showing less than what is really needed for…

Hi guysI have a question regarding the config file and lights.I have a situation where all the lights are on and can be seen fine in spot view, but when I go to the cockpit view or to Virtual Cockpit view, there is no lights showing up.Here is the question: Is there a line that can be added to the config file to make the lights visible? If so, what is it and where in the config can I place it?ThanksBill

I have noticed a new 'thing' happening with my PIC. While at the ramp, and with all engines shut...If I toggle the A/T to 'on', the throttle will creap into reverse and the spoiler leaver will deploy. I look at spot view and the reversers are opened up. What gives? I checked the yoke and re-calabrated it. all seems fine, but it only happens while in A/T 'on' mode. You can actually see the throttles creap backwards.Weird. Anybody have this problem happening?

Has anyone integrated this gauge (rcbpb-20.zip) with PIC? I'd be interested in getting the config lines for it.Thanks

Custom UK SID/STAR/Approach procedures for use with PIC have been uploaded to the AVSIM file library. Updated to include link to downloadhttp://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=31838All procedures are AIRAC 0306 compliant. All are derived from charts downloaded from www.ais.org.ukAll SIDs are runway specific - select a runway and the FMC will show you the SIDs that are available for that runway.Rob - did not manage to get Southampton done. An Update will follow sometime soon with more airfields.

Is it me or does this forum seem like a ghost town for the most part? I have a feeling that when the PMDG 737 hits the airways and FS2004 comes along, our beloved 767 is going to go the way of the gooney(sp?)bird. Any beta testers or those with press copies know if PIC works with all systems functioning in FS2004?

(FL290 60 back of CLARR and 15 to TOD enroute to Vegas)Finally back in the air again. After a long string of computer problems, reformats, bad flight sim configs, horrible frame rates, a hard disk failure, and finally reformatting and getting it all set up AGAIN. I am happy to report that I am back to terrorize the online skies in my 767.Thanks to all those who in one way or another helped me get everything back up and running - either by troubleshooting, sending me files, or offering moral support (or in the case of DS laughing at me).A quick checklist for those going through this:Install...FS2002FSUIPCAIBRIDGEAUTOSAVEFSNAVFSNAV AIRACRoger WilcoSquawkboxCSL Models767PIC76…

Hi there...I have been trying to add the Flight1 B737-400 communication guage, the one with the P/A system that lets the captain speak and so on...I have successfully added the guage, but when I press one of the buttons it freezes.Does anyone know how to do this?I think maybe it's refered to by a different name than what can be found in the panel.cfg of the B734...Any help is highly appreciated!Boaz...

Hey everyone,I enjoy useing the 767 so much I had to ask this question, Will there be a patch for it for FS2004 ? As I hear the developement team (not saying this in a discriminating way) did not use the Micro$oft SDK when making her....Thanks for your comments!
