Ok, I have now learned to fly this bird and programme the FMC. But I have only flown without ATC. That worked well until I bought Ultimate Traffic. Since I program the approch a long time before I get to the airport, I don't know what runway that is active. But if I use FS2002 ATC, this won't be a problem. But how do fly this bird with the ATC and IFR-flightplan?

We've all been there, flying a STAR with an altitude level restriction, that VNAV struggles to meet. Standard practice has been to create a psuedo waypoint about 3 miles prior to meet the altitude restriciton.Stumbled across this thread on the 737 on PPRUNE:http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.ph...ht=VNAV+descentOne of the posters there advocates changing the level restriction in the FMC to 500ft lower than planned, leaving the MCP Altitude Window at the Level Restriction altiude when in VNAV descent.Have tried this out in PIC, and arrive at the waypoint at the assigned restriction altitude bang on.

Daryl Shuttleworth has been spreading rumours that RVSM is now valid over Canada. Flight tracker shows otherwise in terms of real world flights. Can anyone confirm this please?Maybe Daryl's fictional world has blurred the real one.Rob.

I just set up a flight from KPHL to KONT, with derated takeoff thrust (set temp to 60). Following the checklist you are supposed to hold V2 plus 15 knots (in this case 170 Knots) until flaps up (usually at 1000 ft). Problem is that with N1 set, after takeoff I was at an angle of 20 degrees plus to maintain this speed...all of this at 400 ft. Can someone comment on the correct way to perform the takeoff using N1. thanks,Mark.

Anyone knows if the windshear detection works in 767 PIC?If I use Lago Air File Pro, that also simulates windshear and micro-burst, will the red warning light illuminate when I encounter them? Thanks,James

Hi...After installing some VFR panels and the TCAS, I now find that when ever I save a flight the panel and settings are not available for loading in the PIC menu...USually each PIC saved flight also save the panel settings for future loading in other flights or situations...This is not possible anymore...I can save it to a previous flight, but it's hard to delete other panel settings, and also hard to find the again, as they are saved under a different name...Any help is appreciated...Boaz...

The CD Key that was taped on my 767 cd holder was partially scratched off by somebody, and I can't see all the numbers of the CD KEY. I can provide proof in pictures that I have the orginal cd if needed. I tried emailed Wilco, but they never answer their email. I know I should have wrote down the key in another safe place incase the cd container got damaged, but I didnt' use this program much. Am I out of luck? I know some people will think i'm trying to get a cd key for nothing. As a last resort I tried another cd key that didn't come with my original, but it said I wasn't authorized to use the FS2002 upgrade. I purchased my 767 PIC CD over a year ago from Electroni…

Well, I enjoyed that....Departures from PAJN seemed to flow very smoothly, kudos to whoever did ATC at that end!I cannot figure out why I got winds at 240/35 along the route (same as Mike's f/p, BTW) but everyone else was talking about 80kt winds...I was using the server winds, were other people using something else? This was at FL370.Arrivals were a little more hectic, didn't help that we lost voice just coming over SWR. You get used to having voice and then we you lose it you realize how much more juggling needs to be done between handling the airplane and typing, especially on the approach and landing. Then at the end, after I got a great parking spot in a nice photo-…

Hi all. I love the pic panel so much that i use it on my dc-10s. Its functions are close to the real dc-10 so i use it. But the only problem i have is this. On the real dc-10 we normally use 35% flaps for normal landings.50% on short or contaminated runways. If i do this in pic i get the gpws flap warning. Is there a way to tweak pic to recognize 35% laps like the one on the 10?

I have used the merge program to merge the PIC panel with the POSKY model. Do I need to do anything else to the aircraft.cfg file, like effects, etc...? Also, how do I close the following circled items in the picture? I am assuming the one on the right is the air inlet to the APU and the other is to prevent tail strikes? I can't seem to close them. http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/16669.jpgThanks,

Two questions or problems I've got.DL'd the TCAS gauge from AVSIM here, I've heard it works pretty well. I followed the instructions but I get no gauge. The gauge was extracted to the Gauges file, the panel.cfg line was entered in, and the hydraulics are working. Any idea on why I'm not getting any gauge at all showing up, it's just a black screen?Second, keysend using either wideserver or FSUIPC. I'm running RW on my second computer and I'd like to use the Mic button on my Suncom throttle to transmit. Is this possible over WideFS? It's a bummer having to hit the 'tab' key on the second computer keyboard while handflying the final. Thanks,Lobaeux
