I cannot get RC to respond to any key presses. Load up RC select FP etc, then load up FSX, and click Start RC this then minimises, so I start my flight. I get the aircraft loading up as usual, and now have the RC window showing with 2 options Clearance and Weather, when pressing either 1 or 2 nothing happens, so I searched around, and thought maybe making it so I had to press ctrl and the relevant number, but this hasn't resolved my problem.I really like the idea of this program and hope to be able to use it in my flight simming, but I am unable to get it to do anything except I can get the weather if I manually tune COM1 to the ATIS freq but the keys assigned to the radi…

Hi folks,You will have to excuse my ignorance...I'm just an old pilot that doesn't know a lot about computers. Are these 2 programs compatible, is SuperATC a standalone product, and do you buy the programs separately or are they a package?Thanks for your help,Eric Olson

The first time I attempted to run RC when I attempt to load my FSX developed flight plan I get the message saying that I don't have the MSSTDFMT.dll installed. I downloaded same. Where does it need to go so that I can run RC?

In RC5 will be possible to have multiple runways assigned for departures and arrivals at larger busier airports. Or at least have a more fluid tower. I have my UT2 AI traffic set to about 50%, with rc4 I always get stuck behind 4 or 5 planes, one plane lands and then another will announce a 5 mile final and this will go on and on and no traffic will move, eventually I will just refresh the AI. I don't know real world ops but when a plane is still 4 or 5km out I think there is time to get another plane off the ground and get the traffic moving. I also know that not everything is possible to code in FSX just wondering if there will be any improvements in this area. Thanks

I can not register my RC v4.3 after I formatted my pc. I have a Vista Ultimate 64 bit dual boot system, FS 9.1 and haven't installed any other addons. I installed and started RC4 with administrator privileges as instructed in the mail. But registration screen keeps coming up.Could my product id change after the format? Could that be the source of the problem?Edit:Sorry just seen the topic in FAQ :)

I am running FSX on Windows 7 and have used RC for years without problems. However when I fly the new ERJ's from feelThere Ctrl+Shift+K and Ctrl+Shift+M don't work and I can't use Otto. RC appears to be working fine otherwise and the problem doesn't occur with any other aircraft. Any ideas gentlemen?Bob

Hi, and happy new Year to all of you !Until recently it has just so happened that all options I've got for STARs to which ever runway heading being the active had it's starting point which was reached after being assigned final runway by approach ( I have been coming in either from the "absolute" far side or near side). Then after reqiuiring an ILS approach RC has let me in quiet when flying the STAR. Now, however, having followed some routes heading at straight angles and allmost into the midle of the runway length the choice of STARs had a common starting point that were reached before (further out than 40 nm) being assigned runway by approach. HelloI fly alot into IAH. There is a 280k restriction at TXMEX and RC dont see this. It does have a FL140 restriction and it does tell me to desend below that to FL120. Is there anyway to make adjustments to reconize the 280K restriction?TnxEddie

Has anyone had any issues using RC4.3 with the captain sim 727? When starting from "cold and dark" a frequency change in radar contact appears to lock up the radios and ap. Any ideas? Thanks in advanceBuddy

Hi there, I use Radar Contact with the fantastic PMDG 747, and they work together more or less flawlessly;However, one thing happens that bothers me: as you may know the PMDG 747 tells me the optimal point to begin descent via the Navigation Display, and to descent I just input the desired altitude below the current flight level and at the T/D the plane automatically descents. This is the way things works in the sim without ATCHowever, I use radar Contact and they tell me to descent to a particular altitude well before the T/D.In the end it doesn't change much for me; but I need to know when I will start to descent: first because I use FS2Crew and I have to do a few thing…

Hey guys. I restored my computer from scratch about a week ago. I have restored my fs aircraft/scenery/apps, but when i use radar contact, the font is all messed up for some strange reason.i was just wondering if anybody else had the same issues or if anybody can hazard a guess what the hell is going on lol..i have tried re-installing both fs and radar contact and yet still no result.. it did work before, on the same computer.. Can anyone please help me fly this approach better.My problem is joining the final ILS approach after flying in from the North (Florida). My last waypoint is the MLY (VOR) 115.50. I'm vectored by RC to a heading of 250 (ish) I can't remember the exact heading as I write this, and down to 6000.My final approach vector is 158 and 5500 until intercepting the ILS for Rwy 12.This is where I'm having a problem. Rwy 12 has a heading of 118, but flying the default 737-800 with default scenery, I'm already right of the ILS approach and never capture it unless I make other heading changes.It would appear that the ILS flight path is angled differently to the Rwy heading. I am tempted to get RC but was wondering if the RC5 upgrade was still being planned? Also do the ATC voices change as you fly into a different region? Anotherwords if I fly from the USA to Europe will the ATC from N.Y. sound and use different phraseology from an ATC in France??? Or do you have to preload your voice sets before each and every flight to a set region?Thanks...

Hi,It seems like RC4 does not recognize LIMC addon scenery after DB rebuilding. The problem is very similar to what RC previously had with Flightscenery KPDX and KPVD. My initial thought was that custom-made ILS's in main scenery folder may intefere with RC Rebuilder. I disabled these ils-files and rebuiled scenery again, but had no luck at all - LIMC is not visible by RC4 and there is no such airport as LIMC in runways.xls file.Your help would be much appreciated.ThanksDmitriy

After reinstalling FS2004 and running Make Runways, I am getting the following error message when I try to load a flight plan:Run-time error 53: RadarContact.rcv4 module.get_departure_informationRC version 4.2.3828 running Windows XP SP2I did not reinstall RCV4, nor did I removed any of the RCV4 modules, etc from any of the default FS9 folders. I did not change the location of FS2004...it is installed in the default location/folders.Is this something I can easily fix, or do I need to remove and reinstall RCV4?Thanks!

Hello!I want to buy Radar Contact and use it i) on my main PC with FSX (when the wife has the notebook) orii) on the notebook via WideFS when possible.I read the RC documentation and saw that the activation key is tied to the OS/HW. So I want to ask if it is possible to receive two activation codes when I pay for RC once or would I have to buy it a second time?Fly safe,Erich
