Hello, all. I am still trying to test out RC but am still having what I think is an issue with AI and ATC and hoping someone can shed some light. All kinds of AI around me but hardly any of them seem to be on the same freq as me. Using other tools I can see that they are on the default FS9 freqs instead of what RC has me on. If I turn up the volume of the default ATC I can hear them all doing their thing. Is this normal when using RC? Doesn't seem right to me. When I get in areas where the freq that RC has me on is the same as the default ATC I seem to hear more. But not always. Just wondering if anyone else sees this or if there are things I can …

Hey there, Few questions from a long time user - How do I cancel the auto-tune to ATIS? I find RC ATIS really off (I use Active Sky ATIS which is far more accurate) On the same subject - how do I reduce the chance of being vectored to the opposite runway of landing AI traffic? I find myself being vectored 50% of the times into the wrong direction. I use Ultimate Traffic Live. And last question - for some reason sometimes RC does not stop aircraft from taxing into my runway when I am cleared to takeoff or land. What could be the issue? I am a long time user and I believe this started happening only in P3D or Ultimate Traffic Live. Thanks!…

Hi, I'm new here, and I have a question about RCD Files. I found no answers.... I have RC4 (latest version) and RC4toxplane installed. How can I save a flight or load a RCD file? Hello. I'm giving RC a try in FS9 and have a couple of quick questions. 1) I'm not seeing in the manual anywhere that you are supposed to disable the built-in ATC communication. The first thing I tried was tuning to the weather briefing through the RC menu and I'm hearing both RC weather and the built-in briefing. 2) Am I supposed to have the AdvDisp option in the Modules menu? According to the manual I should but I only have FSUIPC (which I had before). There were no issues with the install, that I know of, but I don't have that option there. 3) How do I get the RC menu to stay closed and only open when I want to see it? I don't see that in the m…

just setting up new computer running P3D v4 ,and I already have FSUIPC5 installed. I got the link for the free down load of Rc4 and all the options include FSUIPC but not sure if it will cause me problems because I sure it is v4 not v5. Thanks for help.

Hello. I'm hoping someone can answer a quick question for me regarding RC and AI Callsigns. What does RC do if/when the particular AI callsign is not one it knows about? I have a LOT of added AI with callsigns, custom created and/or imported using EditVoicepack, I'm sure RC knows nothing about and am curious what it will do. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I has been a really long while since I posted here. I own RC4 for many many years, however I was not using it for... some years - few at least. I still remember it as a good ATC add-on. Recently I have have moved my sim orientation to... X-Plane 11. I have noticed that there is a plugin designed for RC4 - RC4toXplane. Basically it makes RC4 to work with X-Plane. My question is: is anyone here using this with X-Plane 11? How about the functionality of RC4. I remember that RC4 could handle ATC comms - to ease it a bit on the pilot (me) flying. RC4 was able to set transponder etc. How is that doing with X-Plane? It would be great to hear from some…

HI, I really enjoy radar contact 4.3 and it was working great until now. I get the following Rin-time error '6' RadarContact.rcv4module_get_departure_information then the program is shutting down. Could anyone help me with this please? Thank you. Mario

I recenetly installed FSX. I downloaded the free RC4.3 from the icloud and installed it successfully. I open up the RC program, choose a flightplan, and hit OK. This error message appears- please install the MSSTDFMT.dll file. I searched the web for it, got it and installed in the reccomended location, but still get the same error. Hi since the last scenery rebuilt RC does not load any flt plan anymore. When I click "load Flt plan" in the upper left corner, the flt plan window shows only "to @0 (Alt1- , Alt2-) / *RVSM" and if I clicking "Start RC" I get a FSUIPC warning "cannot link to FSUIPC or WideClient. New FSUIPC installation did not help. Any help very welcome Peter

After changing frequencies, the previous controller will often keep contacting me asking me to acknowledge a handoff if I don't contact the next one fast enough. Is there a fix?

Hi I am trying to install rc4 on a windows 10 64bit os with only p3dv4.4 installed. During the installation it asks for fsx.exe, twices I was able to provide it with p3d directory, but close to the end it asks for the actual exe. how can I finish the installation? I tried to ignore it but was never able to run the program. (no error just wont open) thanks Dekel

Just when you think you are done, a new problem. A couple of weeks ago or so, I had everything installed into P3D v4.4, to include Radar Contact. All was just great. A couple of days ago, I uninstalled FSX SE with REVO Uninstaller which seemed to get rid of a lot of folders and files. The next day I set up a cross country and clicked on Radar Contact to open it. Clicked on the flight plan window and got a Runtime Error 713 reflecting Class not Registered, and I needed to install the file. Ran a CP sfc/scannow which didn't find any violations; and a DISM /Online /Cleanup=image /Restore Health which said it was successfull. I have spent the last two hours going o…

Using the Feelthere/Wilco E175/195 I cannot get "Otto" to take control of the Comms. Crtl-Shift-K does nothing. But I can manually respond with Comms. I do not know if this is a problem with RC4 of the Wilco aircraft itself. This is the only aircraft in my hangar that I have this problem with. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. I had a major problem with P3D and it decided to go on strike and would just not start. Eventually, the only thing left to do was to re-install the whole thing.( I had tried all the recommended actions). That got it working again and all scenery, airports, GSX are now working. The only thing not working is RC4. The program works but when I try to connect (start), nothing happens. There is no Radar Contact message window. I think it may be a simconnect problem but I don't know how to fix it. Everything worked perfectly before the problem. FSUIPC is v5.14 Edit. Folks, let me just say what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm posting in this forum, as I want to use Radar Contact right now. Not, the numerously other mentioned programs I have looked up after being mentioned here. I just want to ENJOY: Using P3D 4.4 1. Using RC4 with Air Hauler 2, flying the FSW Mits MU2 Marquise. 2 While using RC4's ATC interact via voice by pushing a button on my Saitek yoke. IE emulate a PTT button on the yoke. 3. This has happened once or twice, wondering if there's a way to get it back on track. This is P3D44 All set up goes well, get cleared to takeoff and fly rwy heading - after that I get only alt settings or speed restrictions. Flightplan legs show in menu but only the initial leg is active. Doesn't change as waypoint is reached. Is there a way to reset RC so that it picks up my current location? Thanx, Vic

Hi All I have managed to get RCv4 and P3Dv4 to play along rather nicely, thanks to the various posts in this forum. But I do have 1 strange little item: I have actually made 2 installations of RCv4, one WideFS based and one directly on my Gamer PC. I would rather use the WideFS one, as I really don't want too much stuff on my gaming PC. And it does work OK, except the the "Acknowledge" menu point is missing when I use WideFS. This is annoying, as it often is the only clue you have saying "You may have missed something". Even stranger, the ACK key combination (CTRL-7 for me) still works, even if the prompt is not there. Hi All Radar Contact is now Free Ware ,program and key can be downloaded. What is Radar Contact is it a addon ATC services for FSX, My problem is, I load a route say from FS Commander on the second computer into FSXs Flight Planner it then appears as a route in FSXs GPS. ATC Clearances take me from the gate to the runway , then Clears me to take off, After that it wants to give me Headings to my destination. It will not let me follow my Flight Planned route and request report passing my planned route Nav aids. Will Radar Contacted ATC follow my planned route. Trubshaw

On my installation of RC Version 4.3.3845, there is a selectable option on the "Plane Information and Options" screen labeled "IFR Training" for which I have searched for but have not found any references or documentation. It is not shown in the screen shot on page 29 of the V3 manual. It appears in the last column beneath the "Tune on Contact" option and above the "Souls on Board" box. I selected it then loaded and flew an IFR flightplan but didn't see anything different during the flight. Does anyone know anything about this option?

Hi Yesterday I did a flight with RC that ended at Stockholm/Arlanda (ESSA) in heavy snow and low ceiling. It worked ok in beginning with vectors to an ILS 01L landing. Established on the ILS I was turned over to Tower and got a "clear to land". On a very short final breaking out of the clouds I see an AI-plane lined up for takeoff on the runway. I then get "go around" from the Tower. After a rather long go around a new ILS approach, got "clear to land" from Tower again and the same story, there is an AI-plane lined up. Of course "go around" again from Tower, but I didn't have time do to that so I landed anyway. This cost me the licence according to RC. I think the co…
