Hi all, what about RC when I have installed both sims? To use RC do I need install them twice, in FSX and in P3D. Or is it ok to install RC into the "C" drive? FSX and P3D are sitting on "D". Those are two SSD´s (C=250G, D=500G) and the PC is Flightsim only. Tks for advice Peter

Have been running RC4 (4.3.3845 ~~ 08.02.2007) through FS's to FSCSE and now into P3D4 since Jan 2018 all without major issues - just the (very) odd glitch - each quickly resolved via this forum...:) Over the last few weeks I have been having peculiar sound issues where initially the volume is OK - then the RC4 sounds directed at my call-sign become VERY muted - almost inaudible - to return but on a very ad-hoc basis! Hi I just read a 2010 post about a bug I have just tried 2 flights from KIAH to Miami International and after I get departure clearance Radar contact forgets about me with no Heading Radar contact will change to different stations but will not give me a Heading when I check in the GPS I am totally off course but Radar contact doesn't relies and keep me flying in a straight line. I have even given the plane to Otto and the comms to see if I was making an error I am using FSX Steam with default flight planner with High altitude ifr It only has happened on this flight plan so far Ty Andy

Whats the best way to get a download link for RC 4.3? I lost everything with a recent OS hack and the backup media failed. Cheers.

Hello all, Long time user of RC4, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Problem is that when building the new PC, along with the new windows install, I no longer have FSX installed, just P3D V4. Now while installing RC4 how do I get it to find the "FSX Installation" as it asks me for? I saw someone suggest another member to create a copy of P3D.exe, and rename it FSX.exe. I tried that, but it didn't help. If anybody can just get me going in the right direction to get RC4 working in V4 that would be great. Thanks in advance.

I have been racking my brain and getting beyond frustrated trying to get the Key assignment Ctrl+SHFT+M to work. Assignment Ctrl+Shft+K works perfectly fine, but Ctrl+Shft+M does nothing at alI. i have tried using letters that the default FSX setting do not use and I still keep getting nothing. I am about ready to uninstall Radar Contact and move on without it. I am spending too much time on this problem. Anybody have any ideas as why Ctrl+Shft+M will not work? please help. I just got my reg key. But when I copy it into Radar Contact, I get a "Runtime Error 75" message. I have not even had a chance to run Radar Contact yet. What happened?

Hello, After becoming frustrated with the inadequacies of default FSX ATC, I wanted to use a more sophistication system of ATC and I won't go into great detail of the problems of default ATC as you all already well aware of them but my two biggest issues were aircraft being too close to me on approach and final and the inability to automatically answer radio communications. I got into simming a couple of months ago and I've wanted to improve the experience. Hi, I've noticed my drop down list of call signs has changed for some reason. American airlines is suddenly missing, Delta position in the list has changed etc... I did not edit or play with any of the RC files. Any idea what could have caused this and how can I get this fixed? Thanks, Shom

Hi, If anyone is using this combo - I've noticed with this specific aircraft I always get assigned to the opposite runway of the one being used by AI traffic. I am using ASP4 & UTL. Important to mention I do get this situation less than half the times with other aircraft. Anyone else experiencing this? How can I fix this in general? Thanks!

Hello, Lately I've been using PF3, but there's something about RC4 that makes me want to try it again. I've already purchased it and need a download link. On a side note, somebody might want to take the Its your Plane references from the JGTLLC website because Its your Plane, as of August 2017 or so, is no more.

I been flying the Orbx Netherlands and I hear some prerecorded chatter in the background of the RC chatter. Was this included in RC by the dev? I really lke it. Its not p3d atc its disabled.

ok got key ran rc ok update data base get the above error,what I have done so installed latest makerwys into p3d4 main folder installed lorby created a dummy fse.exe but still get the same error message any help just about to give up on rc4. thanks,jim

Hello, I have read a few messages here related to strange behavior from AI aircraft, and Radar Contact. I have been using Radar Contact for over 10 years. It is recently after P3DV4 or FSUIPC 5 that Radar contact is not interfacing as it used to be with the Ai aircraft. I have had landings instructions to use runways opposite to the ones Ai aircraft are using. At least in my case, Radar Contact is no longer detecting when there is traffic crossing, or in the runway, as there are not instructions to go around. Besides that, taxing Ai aircraft are no longer detecting your own aircraft. They just keep on moving and crash into you or go rightn through you if y…

hi I have moved over to p3dv4 and would like to install rc but i don't know where to install rc is it in c program files also does not give a option for p3d full installation only up to fsx I realise rc has not been updated for a while,not very good at working out where to install so any help would be really appreciated missing using this great program. thanks,Jim

I noticed that after the last Windows 10 update, the RC voices are now very low. I've maximized their volume to no avail. The only way to hear them clearly is to turn off P3D4 sounds. Appreciate any help.

Hello, I have recently upgraded P3d to V4.2 and am having issues with the PMDG747. Every time I select the "Start RC" button, it crashes P3d with RC hanging in the background. It all works fine with all other aircraft, I have even tried loading the 747 in different states, but nothing seems to work. Any help woulds be appreciated. Thanks Darren

Hi, I recently reinstalled flightsimulator x on my pc after a clean windows reinstall, so i decided to use my purchased radar contact v4.3 again with FSX, I made a key request to [email protected], and recieved 2 days ago my key, The problem is that i enter the key correct in the registration section, then radar contact v4.3 is a couple of seconds thinking, dissapears, and when i start the program, the registratation screen appears again, i'm now very desperate and i did all the steps correctly, now i'm out of options, i really need help. my key i recieved is:

New to RC4 - I would like to have both audio and visual cues (text instructions on screen) as to what RC4 is saying. However I'm having the issue others are reporting with the long delay in messages. I've seen people being told to turn text off, but ideally I'm looking for a way if it's possible to have both the audio and text working without the delays. Am I fighting a losing battle of is there a way to make it work? Thanks in advance :)

Hi all, I've tried both the automated email and manually sending a plain text message with the format as outlined in multiple forum posts. I even tried to copy and paste the details the automatic message generates and send that as plain text, however as yet I'm still waiting for a key to be sent.
