Hello! Last year (In november, I believe) I downloaded Radar Contact V4.3 for my PC. I have been playing around with FSX and decided to do a fresh install (which I now regret) to "clean" things up. I remember experiencing a similar issue back when I originally installed Radar Contact but I do not remember how I resolved the issue. In the makerwys instructions it says to use the Lorby-SI Add on organiser program to order the XML files so makerwys can use them. However there are no instructions that I can see as to what to do with the program. Do you run it or just place it inside P3Dv4? I seem to have missing frequencies here and there and this might be why. Ian Harrison

I lost my old download link, and I really would like to use the program again. Is it possible to redownload it someplace?

I am having an issue where FSX is freezing about 10-20 minutes after takeoff. The entire computer freezes and requires a restart. I did not have this issue prior to the install of Radar Contact. Any suggestions on what I can do so I can keep using this great product? Thanks! Matt

Hi. Just installed my RC4.2 CD version on my new setup after years of not using it. After two Key Request emails being sent (spaced 24h between each other) I haven't received any Key. It seems [email protected] is inactive somehow. Would you please help me with this? Thank you, Regards.

Mah, I am so fed up. I had to reinstall my RCv4 due to a SSD failure on a new drive - and it really asks me for a new registration? Fed up. So I sent my request using the tool. That was on Saturday. Today is Monday evening. Fed up twice. Buyers are always screwed compared to crackers. :-(

Due to problems with P3Dv4 and its incorrect airport database and RC4, I have tried to restore FAOR to RC4. I have succeeded in getting everything except runways to show up in the RC controller info block. Am I right in thinking that Rebuild will wipe out my manual corrections? How do I get the runway selection to appear? Thanks for your help.

I just for help, RC4 working fine for me, only a problem, in p3d V4 i don't see the normal window inside the simulator but the commands are inside a green box on top of the screen. it is possible to change some setting to have the normal old window? thanks

Hi there, Yesterday I paid for and downloaded the Radar Contact V 4.3 program, from the website http://www.jdtllc.com However when I tried to install it yesterday evening, it said that some of the files were corrupted in the File rcv43-1.bin Is that a mistake ? Am I doing something wrong ? I downloaded the program with the Program "Internet Download Accelerator and made a backup copy, on my External Hardrive in case I lost the Files on my computer. Is the problem copy protection ? I.e.if you make a copy, the files are deliberately corrupted, so you can't just pass the program, onto someone else who hasn't paid for it ? I am in the process of moving from FSX-Steam to PD3 v4 and I have problem installing RC 4.3 at the end of the installation it's looking for the FSX.exe file. I tried to point the installer to the Prepar3d.exe but it did not work. Anyone knows what I need to do? I have the new FSUIPC 5 ver 5.103 and MakeRunways 4.82 installed. Pierre

I have had RCV for yonks and it has always worked well under FSX but having moved to P3Dv4, I am getting freezes on ultra long flights (10 hours or more). By elimination, it seems to be Rc4 which is causing the problem. I have sent a log to JD but am wondering if it is possible to get the installation files from somewhere to do a re- install?

When I start the RC , I got a green color with red color of the text, is it possible to change the color of the background? instead of green I would like to change it to transparent.. Thanks

Hello, I just wanted to find out if the registrations are still being conducted on RC4.3? If so, I'm not trying to rush anyone on the e-mail response, just wanted to see whether we can still register or not and will patiently wait.

I noticed in my v4 that when I'm second in line for T/O and there's an AI bird in front of me, RC gives me a clearance before the AI. RC calls the AI in the air so there's the interaction, but it appears that it doesn't clear the AI on the ground properly. Do I have something mapped incorrectly or is it UTL issue? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Guys, I have been using RC since it was first published with little or no problems. How ever since I purchased the PMDG B747-400 v3 I have had problems. For example at Gatwick (UK2000) B747-400 and ASNEXT I start RC and select the ATIS and get the wx OK. If I then select Clearance I hear nothing. If I continue the flight I sometimes hear a transmission from RC for ex Contact London Control, FO calls control but there is no answer. I also do not get any chatter files running. I do not get the same problem running the PMDG B777 or the 737-800 NGX or MD11. I am running FSX under Windows 7 after having the same problems under Windows 10. …

Having used RCv4 for ever, with the development of RNAV STARs in the US, I am now struggling to fly my STAR respecting the constraints while adhering to unlinked (if not contradictory) RC's instructions. I'd like to know how you guys manage that? too bad there is no option to fly our own STAR like there is to fly the SID. Ghiom

I installed and registered RC4.3 and get the following message: Class not registered, you need the following file to be installed on your machine. MSSTDFMT.DLL This happens with I select a flight plan and OK. Has anyone else encountered this error? I suspect it has something to do with Visual Basic runtime but I'm not sure what I need to fix it. Thanks ... Richard

I just recently purchased Radar Contact V4.3 and I am not sure what Product ID number should be inserted to get the key for this program. Is the number the one you get when on you order invoice/receipt (Product Code 16 digits including dash)?? is the Product ID and the Product Code one of the same?? HP wells.

Everything was working great with Rcv4. Now when I start the program I have to minimize the window to get a response from the program. For instance if I press key number 2 for the weather I have to minimize the window to get the program to respond. The same thing when I press number 1 for clearance. I did a complete reinstall of the program, but that has not corrected the problem. Thanks for your help, Wayne

I have recently today bought Radar Contact V4 to enhance my fsx experience and to avoid using the default ATC however on installing it there seems to be some kind of issue at the end of the install. An error pops saying 'Your FSX installation is incorrect!. The version of SimConnect installed will not load FSUIPC. You may want to repair the FSX installation to rectify this first. No changes have been made by this program', I'm unsure what it means or what's happening so any help would be appreciated. however after I ok the error radar contact allows me to finish it's install. After a year's absence I installed RC4 on my new PC and emailed the activation request in the proper format. After nearly 48 hours still no key. In the past my activation requests were always promptly successful. What can I do to get RC4 running? Thanks for help Neal Howard

For anyone that is using EFASS for flight planning and moving map display, there is a new version just released, EFASS-NG. It is a complete remake from Version 1 and is still in Beta testing. For a limited time it is available for free to those that have bought Version 1. Just go to the website and in the download section request a new license. All that is needed is your current login and password and you immediately get a new license for EFASS-NG. Give it look, it is quite awesome. Hi, I have a problem with the RC callsigns and UT2. Here is an example that explains it: File c4.csv: in order to have the airline Wizzair I added this line: WIZZ AIR,WIZARD,Wizzair Ltd - Hungary,634, 1 where "WIZARD" is the wav file, close enough to "wizzair". I found out that: -the first part of the line (before the first comma) must match exactly how the airline is named in UT2 (WIZZ AIR in this case) -the second part (before the second comma) must match the RC wav file.
