Hi, after receiving my key I was thinking I can start now. False. After the first callup RC told me that I have a run time error 713 and I have to install the file MSSTDFMT.DLL So, I'm not a computer guy. Try to find a solution here within the Forum dedicated to this fault.But that is not helpful for me at all. Some reportet it work as recommended bei JD, the other say's it does not work. It also does not work for me, even I tried several times always at admin, but no luck. What to do now? I did not found that file within my windows\syswow64 folder. And I did not download from a scare internet side. Why is that program (RC) not complete…

So I used RC to save a flight state, but what is the key combination to load it? Cheers.

Hi guys, I'm a long time user of RCv4. I have two copies, one on CD and a download one. I have been trying to obtain a new key to enable me to install into P3Dv4 but my requests keep getting bounced back telling me I have alpha characters in the request. I am sending my requests by email and have been entering the long string of letters along with the product id along with the ! marks and I'm pretty sure they are all correct. Just to note, I have not installed into P3D as yet, but been requesting the key by entering the info saved from my earlier installs. Would you believe that I have been playing this game for about 21 years, now, and have only just now jumped into the third party software for ATC? I've always used the built in ATC until now. So, I've been using Radar Contact for about a week or so, now. LOVE the program. There is a learning curve to it, though, and I'm enjoying that part of it. Here is one problem I've been having so far, though, and it's happened more than once. I've been taxiing on the tarmac, and out of nowhere, I'll get a "collision" with absolutely nothing. Is there a way to get line up and wait instead of position and hold for the US area?

Hi Friends, I'm using P3D v4.1 with my RC4 and am wondering if there is a way to disable "I show you to be off the airway" and the related phrases ATC will call out if it thinks I am off the airway or missed a way point. I don't think adjusting heading deviations applies here. Is there a way to maybe delete them from scripts or something? Do I even want to start messing around with that? Thanks. Seth

I am using Windows 10, 64 bit and this problem occurred in my FSX SE drive. This morning I clicked to open Radar Contact, and then clicked to input my flight plan. Instead of the usual flight plan list, I got a window saying the msstdfmt.dll file was missing and needed to be installed before I could proceed. Radar Contact just disappeared. It appears this is a Microsoft file. When I Googled it, there appeared to be a lot of different files and not knowing which one to use I was reluctant to try any. I did delete and reinstall Radar Contact with no luck. As always, any advice is appreciated. Mike Nicholson

Hi all, Ive been out of the loop in FS9 in many years and finally got back to it again. Does anyone know if Radar Contact added any more call signs? Im on V4.3.3845. Ive been using the default FS9 ATC system and want to try RC again since the default ATC system seems not real accurate on the vectoring and altitudes. Thanks, Bill

I’m a long time user of Radar Contact, and think it is a great add on. I just have a general question that it is only related in that it is the only thing I find missing in the software, that is taxi routing instructions. Does anyone know of an add on that would give route information from your gate to the active runway? I use Navigraph charts and I can fine the airport layout but an add on that gave this information or progressive taxi instructions would add to the realism. Thanks for any ideas.

Hello I have bought a new version of RC4 and installed as Administrator with virus and firewall disabled. I was able to register with the key I was given and when I try to use the program I get the following message Class not registered You need the following file to be installed on your machine MSSTDFMT.DLL I am using OS Windows 10 WITH Intel-Core i7-6500 CPU @ 2.5GHz 2.60 GHz. This problem just started. I had to do a fresh install RC after having run time error 9. Now when ever i press the execute button after I've loaded my flight plan I end up in the water. Happens with all aircraft. Any suggestion?

Good afternoon, I'm not sure if this is a Radar Contact problem, but I always get good advice here! I understand that the runway designations at Jersey Airport were changed in 2014. Unfortunately I'm now left with a half and half situation in my FSX. UK2000 Jersey Airport and PMDG 747 FMC (updated by Nav Data) says it's 08/26. But RC4/MCE still call it 09/27, which was the old designation. How can I get all these "singing from the same hymn sheet", please?

I use RC4 with X-Plane 11 using XPUIPC to interface. I also have World Traffic 3 to generate AI. I have one problem where quite often RC4 allocates a different runway to XP11 and WT3, which whilst I can request an alternative runway, if I don't realise I can find AI aircraft heading straight for me at takeoff!!😩 Just wondering how does RC4 determine the runway in use? Should it use weather reported by XP11 or is it getting the weather report and runway allocation from a different source? Thanks, Stuart

I give example I'm in the scenario of EGKK (aerosoft), then I open the RC4 I choose the flight I give ok and the scenario disappears I already tried in the scenario of LPPR same as what will be happening, I use FSX João Peralta

Certain airports I never seem to get clearance to land. The only solution I can see is land even though I don't have clearance. If I only followed the ATC, I'd never get to land, the aircraft on the ground seem to have no problem ignoring whatever the ATC is saying, they just go without clearance. Is there a way of preventing aircraft from always ignoring the ATC?

Sorry about this but I have forgotten the answer: I have had to re- install Windows 10 and now there is a missing .ocx file, COMDLG32.OCX and Radar Contact won't run without it. There appears to be a copy in SYSWOW64 but if I use that it I am told that it is invalid or damaged. Any one know the answer? Ian Harrison

I was under the impression you could run RC4 along with FSUIPC5 and the latest version of makerwys. Also, I saw to run Flight 1 Registry fix. I have Win 10 Home 64 bit and P3d4. I knew the Flight 1 fix was only for 32 bit, so I found ngn_regfix which included a fix for P3D4. First, I just tried to install RC4. Right away it said the Registry would not find FSX. Of course the RC4 installation identified itself as FSX or FS2004. I then ran the register fix to P3D4, but with no luck in installing RC4 as it was still looking for FSX. I have used RC4 and the one before that for many years. I fly every sim flight with it. I looked at another new ATC program earlier to…
