Hi-after installation of RC4.3, I run it and attempt to fill in the key. I run the rc4 encrypter, click the RC4encrypt.exe but keep getting the "Run-time error 9 Subscript out of range" error. How do I fix this, or can someone pm me a key? Thanks much.

Hi all, Where can I find a list of the default keys for RC4 and their function? Is there a way to automatically tune frequencies with an option, but not proceed with the command? I can get ATIS and delivery with 2 and 1 when starting up, however when RC goes to ground it automatically requests taxi. I want to request push before that though. Is there any way to do that without tuning ground manually first and then using that option? Thanks.

Hi, Im trying to install RC into P3DV4. Previously I had FSX SE. Installer for FSUIPC4.DLL version 4.152 says: Couldn't obtain Version Info! Asking user to find FSX.EXE. I tried to fake fsx.exe in P3D folder or point it to P3D. But everytime I just get this message: User identified path: "C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4" Checking version of FSX.EXE: Couldn't obtain Version Info! Asking user to find FSX.EXE ... Can you help me how to continue installation?

Hey Guys, Just a quick question.... I am looking to head out on a test flight with RC4 - my go to ATC program from GA aircraft and I will be taking off from Blackpool (EGNH) and heading up and around Scotland and the north-east and then returning back to EGNH starting under IFR. My question is will RC4 behave properly and vector me onto the 'filed' route, or will it copy the default and see that I'm close to my destination and vector me straight back? Thoughts?

Hello, Slowly getting the bugs worked out and making progress. The issue tonight is that whenever I turn RC4 on (Start RC button on the RC4 main screen), when I go back to FSX all i get is a totally black screen. I can hear the engine running in the background and I can successfully exit FSX, but all I'm getting is a blank black screen. Rebuild Scenery ran fine with no errors. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks again! Randy in Fort Lauderdale, FL

  7. Hello to all, from Blind Pilot Ron Kolesar. In short. I have my I.D. code and the regenerator program to unlock RC4.3. But in which field do I place the I.D. code in, so when I click on the exe file, I'll have the info that it wants so that I can unlock RC4.3 with? How does a blind person interact with one's pc? This is a valid question. We interact with our pc via a program called a screen reader. The screen reader that the majority of us use is called JAWS for Windows. For a 40 minute demo of the latest version of JAWS 2020, their address is at: www.freedomscientific.com I would seriously recommend that you set a timer f…

Good Morning Ray, If you remember, I've been using RC4 (together with MCE) very successfully with FSX in Win 7 for the last 5 years. With the imminent demise of Win 7, I've just (reluctantly) upgraded my desktop to Win 10 Home. All went well, much to my relief, and FSX seems to be running OK, but there were snags with MCE (which needed re-registering) and RC4. The RC4 problem is that when I click on the usual "Launch RC4" icon, I get a message saying I need to install it using Word 2003 (of all things) and that there is a missing file (O0561401.CAB). Looking for a workaround, I've found that RC4 launches, apparently perfectly, by creating a shortc…

I got a new pc with W10 64 bit. Reinstalled fsx-se and downloaded rc4.3 and key generator. After the installation I ran rc once. I read a post that says- when you run rc first time it generates a product code, which then is pasted into the key generator, etc. But where is that code situated? I looked at the rc4.3 folder, but no trace. Eytan

Hello Radar Contact fans, I've developed interface software to allow Aerofly FS2 to work with Radar Contact. To help my users get started, I created two documents describing step-by step, including screenshots, how to install then register Radar Contact. You'll find link to these documents at the conclusion of this post. Perhaps they'll be helpful to new users and ease Ray's support burden a bit. I'll follow with another step-by-step guide to resolve common problems encountered when first getting Radar Contact up and running. For example, how to install and enable the file mssstdfmt.dll not installed by Radar Contact. Regards, Karl Step by Step gu…

Hi, I have a problem with LFLJ Courchevel, it is missing in the RC4 database. I have carefully read the instructions for MakeRwys. I have the latest versions of FSUIPC, RC4, LorbySceneryExport and MakeRwys. The problem seems to come from the fact that I have LFLJ in Runways.xml and Runways.txt but it is not "transferred" in Runways.csv nor in R4.csv and therefore, consequently, the airport is not transferred in the RC4 files. Why is LFLJ not in Runways.csv or runways.xml? Can we solve this? Thank you and Regards, Richard

I use RC every day, no problems in years. This morning I get the weather and then try to get my IFR clearance and I hear a ding and that's it. I pull up RC and there's this message: Run-Time Error '76': RadarContact.fsuipc.rcv4code I'm not a computer guy so I have no clue what this is. Hopefully some of you do. Bill Cox

For some time now I have had this problem with Real Time Protection (RTP). I just am curious if anyone else has had it, and have they had any luck resolving it. All my flights are cross countries controlled by RC. For a long time, I have not been able to open P3Dv4.4 and now 4.5 with out first going to Windows Defender and turning off RTP anti-virus. I never turn any of the others on. In Addition, I am unable to open RC, Quicken, Revo Uninstaller, and a few other programs without first turning off the RTP anti-virus. I always do it when downloading and installing any flight sim program. The problem is that my flight sim and RC work fine when I turn off RTP, but it …

  17. Hi all, I started RC the right way, got the clearances, took off. RC crashed on climb (doesnt happen often). I want to restart RC while in flight... because i'm not starting over. Is there a way to do that? Load the flight plan and have RC just pick up from the last waypoint I crossed?

My earlier post and responses which solved the problem on sound issues has not resolved this current challenge! Randomly the RC-voices suddenly go very, very quiet - almost completely inaudible. Turning up the volume then results in a deafening voice when the situation goes back to 'normal' 😞 Checking in my audio devices I see there are FOUR audio devices listed and I am wondering if any of these is causing a conflict with the RC voice playback? Listed devices are: Intel (R) Display Audio: v 10.26.0.1 04/09/2018 nVidia High Definition Audio: v 1.3.37.4 03/04/2018 nVidia Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM): v 4.6.0.0 20/0…

  20. Hi guys, When restoring a flight after a couple of saves I get an error message saying something about the GPS in FS not working, I close R\C and my flight loads. I then start FS ATC and can proceed from there. I'd rather use R\C. Assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Ed Kammerman

When I attempt to install RC4, it reaches a point where it tries to install FSuipc4x, but cannot locate fsx.exe. I have FSUIPC5 (registered) installed in P3D4. I cannot seem to skip this step in the install process. What can I do? Dale

As regards P3DV4, specifically version 4.5, it seems that Radar contact doesn't work with either the PMDG 747 or 777 being Cold & Dark . You can power everything up and configure for pushback but still nothing. Works fine from the Default configuration. The Radar Contact window comes up as it should but when you press 1 nothing happens and that's it. The PMDG 737 and all other aircraft I have when Cold & Dark are fine. Any thoughts on how to work around this?

I have been using Radar Contact for over 10 years. It is recently after P3DV4 or FSUIPC 5 that Radar contact is not interfacing as it used to be with the terrain and Ai aircraft. I have had landings instructions to use runways opposite to the ones Ai aircraft are using. Yesterday I was approaching, Barcelona. The winds were calm. and Approach assign me to Rwy 25L as I was approaching the airport I could see that all traffic was departing in my direction. I requested a rwy change to Rwy 7R, and I was told by ATC that it could not be done because of traffic. I hit TOGA and requested the full ILS approach to RWY 7R. In past years RC use to detect when an aircraft…
