Hi, I still use RC 4.3 !!!! Where can go to solve a "RC Keyboard" issue ? Suddenly some keys are not working anymore. "acknowledge" on default 7 does not respond ? Are there people still working with RC v4.3 ?! Regards, Guus.

Hi All Just bought RC4toXPlane and I'm having a few problems with it. Every time I start Radar Contact 4 (inside or outside X-Plane) I get errors about a missing F4ResManager.msi file (which I think is a Microsoft FSX file, if I recall correctly). I don't have FSX installed and I thought that the whole point of the RC4toXPlane was to "spoof" Radar Contact 4 into thinking XP was FSX. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Nick C

I have wondered about this button for some time now. After browsing thru some of the forum threads, I just decided to satisfy my curiosity with this thread. When the Lorby Scenery Export first came out, and you had to run it yourselve, I thought it was a nightmare. Then, Pete Dawson came to my rescue and came up with a way to include it into just dropping an .exe file along side the makerwys.exe file and a LorbyScenery.cfg file appeared. Running the MakeRwys.exe file now takes awhile since I have installed a number of the Orbix files (no individual airport addons), but I thought the Rebuild Scenery DB Button had been now passed up. RC has never done this before and all of a sudden it is fairly consistent. I get instructed to taxi into position and hold. Once I do, the cleared for TO call never arrives. I've been taking off without clearance, and the "Cleared for TO" call will come about 2-3 seconds before I rotate. I have run makerwys recently, so all of the .csv files are up to date. I have recently upgraded to 5.1, so it may be related to that. Does anyone have any idea about where RC is getting the position it thinks I should be in when holding for TO is? Two locations I've recently had this issue at are T2G KMCO RW36R and FB KDEN RW08

I think it may. Other stuff that uses simconnect appear to have a degree of functionality... Hoping it may work. Guess it depends how different FSUIPC is, as it cannot use the usual DLL file system. Guess I'm being a bit too optimistic !?

I have a strange issue with Radar Contact in P3D5 HF2. It works fine and I always fly with it for IFR flights. I have a triple monitor viewgroup and every 8 seconds or so the two outer monitors flash, as does the Radar Contact window. Strangely the centre window doesn't flash. After half an hour or so, usually near top of climb the Radar Contact window flickers really fast. Its unbearable on the eyes so reluctantly I shut down Radar Contact and then there's no flickering at all. It makes no difference if I run Radar Contact remotely from my second PC as I still get the flashing. I did a search for this but all the posts were old and related to AdvDisplay window.…

Have been a user of RC4 for a long time and love it. However ran into an issue whereby i needed to re-install. This is what i have, Prepar3d V4.5, FSUIPC registered version. Installation was fine however have ran into a strange issue. Beginning of the flight works fine, get up to cruise altitude, set autopilot everything appears rosy, so i head off to do some housework. However when i get back to the aircraft RC4 is continually coming up with the old "fly heading ### until receiving suitable navigation". Just completed a flight into Newark (KEWR) which had pretty intensive traffic going in and out! The P3D ATC was very intrusive and made life difficult trying to concentrate on MY instructions from RC! Is there a way to 'disable' the P3D 'default' ATC? I already have the three ATC boxes (Options) NOT checked so don't understand where the interference is coming from... Can't see anything in the P3D folders that might be relevant. Ken 😉

Hi Ray... I have recently been experiencing delays to 'contact' requests - delays of around 20 seconds! I can fly quite a distance in that time and in danger of passing a crossing point or other transgretion... Any ideas, please?

Hi Guys, Looking for a little advice,whilst im on departure i keep getting asked to contact approach,there is nothing i can do to correct this issue the request just keeps getting repeated time after time. I have been spending a lot of time looking at this forum and I have decided that I dont think I can resolve my issue with any of the forums already out there. I have FSX with acceleration(non steam edition) When I run radar contact in the sim (after I click fly now) the window opens normally, but as soon as I try to interact with it by pressing numbers, I get "Run-time error 75, radar contact.fsuipc.rcv4code". I know one of the fixes is to run as admin, but when I run that, I get sent back to the registration (which I've previously done), when I try to put my code in, RC4 goes "not responding" and crashes a few seconds later. RC4 works fine in p3d4 but quit displaying menu in xplane. Cant figure it out. Also xplane says rc4 is not registered anymore. Ran it for years. I just get white jumbled line.

Running P3D5 on W10 ~~~ OK until the latest W10 update (coincidence?) While I was attempting a P3Dv4 flight from MIA-PHL today. I noticed that the distance to the next waypoint on the RCv4 screen was thousands of miles away. But according to my PMDG CDU, It was less than a hundred miles away. I've not had this problem in the 10 years that I've been using RCv4. Has anyone else had this problem? And what's the fix for it?

If you get the following error whilst running RC V4 with any variant of the QW 787 in P3D V4... “fsuipc_wait, can't get D008 to change “ then change the following parameter in fsuipc5.ini TrafficStallTime=5 It is already in the ini file but set to 1. Would someone with patience help an old guy who is only computer semi-literate with installing Radar Contact 4 on a Windows 10 network machine? Specifically, I am getting the 713 and missing .ddl errors MSSTDFMT.DLL. While running a search, I get several responses but they seem to be either dated with dead or questionable links. Not sure what to do with it if I do find a reputable download. If anyone has recent experience and can provide me steps, I would greatly appreciate it.
