Is it possible to get rc4.3 working with xplane? Peter

Hi Guys- I just purchased a new system and am having trouble getting an activation key after installing RC. I am submitting the form the very same way I have in the past and am not receiving a reply back. Here is the format I'm using: To :[email protected] Subject: RCv4 Key Request Product ID No. ! First Name ! Last Name My Product ID number has eight digits and no special characters. I have checked the spam folder in my email and there is no message there. I know it was sent because it was listed in my sent messages (I actually tried several times). My email address has not changed. I totally understand the need for using this system …

I recently updated to Widows 10 and it bricked my desktop. I started from scratch reinstalling everything. I requested a new product key a few days ago and haven't received a response. I have radar contact reinstalled. I used the internal key request in the software. I sent John the request thru email. I even responded to a prior email from John for a new key. Is there a way we could get a new key better than what we have? In the forum there seems to be more issues with key requests than anything else. Could somebody help me with getting a new key? On a recent flight I was directed to descend to 5800 QNH 1007 which I did and my instruments confirmed the altitude and baro reading to be correct. RC though kept telling (rather aggressively at that) that I was at the wrong altitude. Despite being at the correct alt and baro RC refused to believe it. In the end, I closed RC to get rid of the annoyance and, to be honest arrogance of the controller. As such, is there a way to turn off QNH call outs from RC as can be done in other ATC programs? The only issues I have is when QNH is used otherwise everything is fine.

I use FS Commander 9.0 for creating and controlling my flight plans and flights; however I want to use Radar Contact for the ATC aspect of my flights. Can the flight plans I create within FS Commander be imported into or used by Radar Contact so they work together? If PLN's can be imported into Radar Contact, how is that done? I have looked and haven't found a way so far.

I recently installed RCV4 on my FSX Win 7 setup. After getting the new registration and resolving a dll problem, everything appeared to be normal . When starting Radar Contact I get the following error message: Run-Time Error 9 Radar Contact.rcv4module.initialize. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Roger

Hi, Having browsed these forums, I have noticed that if people are having difficulties in getting any response relating to redownloading the software, asking here seems to get it done. I purchased Radar Contact in 2013, but at the time could not get it to work with my system, and at the time I wasn't bothered enough to try to fix it. Now, I wish to retry it. I have sent an email to jd, last week, but no response. Is there any help on hand to try to get me the link? TIA Jamie Potts

I did a complete reinstall on a new computer and requested a new Key yesterday. No response as of yet so I emailed JD directly this morning and still no response. My details are: Product ID -325800262 Name Michael Carvelas My email is [email protected] I purchased RCv4 so long ago, I'm not sure if I had this email address then. My old email address was [email protected] but I no longer have access to that as I changed ISP's years ago. Could someone please check on my key and email it to me at the jaws1948 email address. I'm doing a reinstall of RCV4 on a Windows10 system and FSX-Steam Ed. RC is loaded but when I start it, I get an error that MSINET.OCX or one of its components is not registered or missing. I've found it in the System32 folder and done the regsvr32 /s msinet.ocx command but no luck. Ideas? Thanks

I purchased RC4 long ago and have an order number. However when I try to register I receive an auto reply that states the original did not come from my old email. Fine. Change email message sent to site as stated in FAQs. No response after 5 days. How long would it be expected to receive a reply?

You pay the money, and still no activation key. I have had it and are fighting to get my money back. I have contacted legal support to help. This is just wrong.

This note is to inform you all, all of you that need re-activation of your license key, about the non-support that the developers of Radar Contact provide some of us with. More than a week ago I applied for a new key, as my old original key got lost due to a system crash. As I didn't have all necessary information anymore as required per one of the forum's notes. Hi Ray, Yesterday morning I wrote an email to Dough Thompson asking him to send me a new key for Radar Contact4. As I don't have the purchase information anymore, I bought RC4 many years ago, I provided him with all relevant information that I had available. Unfortunately I haven't heard back, yet. I needed to reinstall Radar Contact as I bought a new system. Hopefully you can use your magic wand and get some actions in this matter. Thanks a lot beforehand for your cooperation. Hello Folks, Pilots, simmers, and who ever has used this product. I must tell you that Radar Contact has given me years of joy. This piece of software has gotten thru more flights with me than i can ever remember. I never fly without it. In 2017 This 4.3 software that came out years ago, is today just as powerful as any other ATC out today ;in my humble opinion. I have tried most of them and they are on the shelf, i keep coming back to RC. Im not complaining or anything just want to thank JD for his work. I've never tried it so I don't know if it will mess anything up if I do this?

Hi everyone. I'm a longtime user of RC and have a question about vectored approaches, which I use 99% of the time. Occasionally RC does not have me turn to intercept the localizer at the airport until I'm within 5 or 6 miles. By that time I'm way too high to capture the glideslope. Would this be a problem with the default FSX approaches, and if so, does anyone know if this can be changed with a program like Airport Design Editor? Thanks! Patrick

My RC4 was working great but now no weather information. On ATIS, for example, RC4 reports "zero" for all weather data. Thanks for any suggestions on a correction? zach

Hi, A few times i ask for a key but still i get the same used or invalid key via the automated mail. I installed RC a view times with a valid key they sent me, but this time i want to install the program, the key is invalid or used. What can i do to resolve this problem? Best Regards Marcel

hallo, I have the Original-CD RCv4 and i want to know, how to download the RCv4 for FSX. I have forget how to do this, ist its nessesary ? Or can i make a new Install in FSX with the CD ? When I start RC en I get a popup with "problem with memory offset" and RC crass. This happen after I hit the button "Start RC" Any help appreciated. Thank you, Martin
