Hi, I have FSX on the main computer and RC 4.3 on a laptop, WideFS-connected to the main computer. Now I would like to install P3D v3 on the main computer. What should I do in order to have RC work with P3D, without touching the FSX setup? Thank you.

Dear Developers! Sorry for starting a new topic for this, but I've never found any stuff in connection with 3rd party AI traffic. So my question is that whether Radar Contact 4.3 supports Mytraffic, or Ultimate traffic 2? If it does, how do I make them work together? I have Radar contact and Mytraffic 6 installed on my computer, I see the AI traffic, I have ATC instructing me, but it's not instructing other aircraft. Sorry, but I really need help, I confess I have not read through the whole manual, but as I was looking in it I couldn't find the section dealing with this. Thanks for your help! Adam

I need a new key and the automated service said that it doesn't have my email in the database. So I emailed my new email to [email protected]. I'm waiting for a response and haven't gotten any yet. Can you please see if I should get it soon? I got a new computer so I need a new key. Thank you.

I want to add some more ATC (Canned) chatter files to the London (UK) area where I live.I've found some ATC chatter files on Avsim called....File Description:A series of three zips containing wave files of real Thames Radar ATC chatter covering aircraft and helicopters. (JC) movements around London, including departures and approaches at London City Airport. For use in FS98 & FS2000 with BSATC (BSATC113.ZIP), ATC Chatter (ATCCHA11.ZIP) and in those and other flight sims with Ear Candy II (ec2full.zip). (JC) Would I put these WAVS into the geographical folder (for London) folder number 380 which is totally empty at the moment in all eight folders or into the main "UK" …

Has somebody got a clear and concise method on how to resolve this issue on win8.1 please, this is a complete new install of everything which has taken up to 10days of installing and then this I've downloaded and installed the MSSTDFMT.DLL file from I think the correct source but could be wrong, followed the steps from previous post's but nothing works, radar contact can not find the file, it shouldn't be this hard, please help. I recently purchase RC4 to use with MCE in X plane. I have installed everything. Register RC4. And also MCE so all wil work together Filed a flight plane using the provided online planner pln. I have hit the Rc scenery builder. A message failed to make runway cvs files..failed to make Fs starRC Rws file... Totaly airports= 0 runways=0 I loaded the flight plan hit start RC the it says RC4 ready then crashes, Can somebody who has installed this on Xplane using RC4 help me solve this problem thanks

I am using Windows 10, and it is my first time flying with RC since then, do I need to run it in compatibility mode? What happened was I was in the middle of a flight, trying to respond to landing instrcutions, and no ammount of turning off my keyboard and on again would do anything. It would respond normally on other parts of FSX, just not RC4

Hi Guys, Just wondered if anyone has used RC4 and Saitek Radio Successfully. When I tune in the freq and make them active, RC4 only seems to identify the ATIS Freq, .......... and NONE of other DELIVERY,GROUND, TOWER etc freq Are they Compatible? All frequencies displayed on the Saitek Panel are indeed visible on the Aircraft Radio Panels (within FSX) and display correctly when the Saitek freq are changed. It appears RC4 cannot read the Radio panels within FSX. I have tried setting RC4 with Auto tune Com ON and OFF but has made no difference. I only hope I'm doing something wrong because RC4 is such a GREAT atc program. Kind regards J

I'm not sure if I've discovered an incompatibility of not. I was flying a flight plan using the PMDG NGX P3D 737 and using Radar Contact v 4.3. I noticed that every so often the engines would both cut out and then restart automatically and continue. Looking into the inner workings of the PMDG NGX I found a set of key commands Shift-Control-F2 for Engine 1 Idle, Shift-Control-F1 for Engine 1 Cutoff, Shift-Control-F4 for Engine 2 Idle and Shift-Control-F3 for Engine 2 Cutoff. It happened on the taxiway approaching the assigned runway when I still had command of the comms. It happened again in the air when the co-pilot had control of the comms. Hi, Had no problems with RC operations until recently when I decided to save and load the flight at P3D (must have procedure now to avoid OOM). I reloaded the flight successfully at P3D, located respective *rcd file, but when I reloaded it the error window pops up that *flt file isn't found. The problem is that P3D no longer creates *flt files, rather *fxml files. What am I supposed to do to resolve the issue. Thanks Dmitriy

I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 64-bit. I decided to install FSX and RC 4.3 as I haven't flown in quite a while. RC seems to be working however it can sometimes take 30 to 40 seconds after a key-press for RC to do anything. It seems like it just hangs. I don't know if this happens to be a Windows 10 compatibility problem or something isn't configured right. I'm using the latest registered version of fsuipc. I haven't been able to find any info regarding this problem. Any Ideas as to why this might be happening?

Hi guys, I bought RC 24 hours ago and right royally messed up the activation process. I got it wrong twice! I'm not sure if messing it up once means I won't get the automated key. Anyway I'm sure I got it right third time but didn't get a response. I emailed [email protected] yesterday after looking at the help topic above but not heard anything yet. Do I just have to wait for a response, can anyone help me on here? Cheers Thomas

I can't seem to get activation on my product. Is there a problem? i have sent several emails with the requested format and information. John

I've had this happen long ago, and don't know what the solution was, I think I may have missed a way point or something, but it didn't seem like I was being lead back to one. I was being given directions to land at KTPA, and suddenly got ordered by the ATC to head north, and then the ATC seemed to just forget my plane existed, and it looked as though I'd be flying north forever, I never got turned towards the last waypoint. What happened here?

How does one keep the messaghe from popping up all the time? Tried using the "~" key, doesn't do anything. I've looked through the forums here, but maybe I missed some info along the way. Thanks in advance for any helpful info.

Hi, Having just installed RC4.3 and tried a few flights I've noticed the voice volume of the controllers/pilot are fairly low in comparison to the FSX ATC. I've adjusted the sound levels in FSX voice to avoid hearing FSX ATC but I've also had to reduce the levels of engine and environment in order to clearly hear RC controllers whilst flying GA such as the Carenado 337 (take off particulalry) and the Duke V2 piston. The only adjustments appear to be the rate of speed controllers voice their instructions. Is there any way round this problem for my poor old ears? Help much appreciated. Richard.

Hi Guys wondering why we fill in flight plan in aircraft if RC4 has me going in different directions - it does not follow the plan in the gps what am I missing here and if so one wouldnt even need to put plan in gps - I have not tried fmc bird yet with this program as still learning it - this scenario I am talking about was the alabeo titan 404 - I loaded the same flight plan in p3d and rc4 but does not follow in gps plan - going to try another flight without loading plan into p3d jsut use rc4 - thanks

Do I need to get a new key every time I switch computers/installs?

Well had a feeling this was going to be an issue - just purchased - I tried installing this into P3D 2.5 latest with and without migration tool and get this error also could not register it - have registered need dll from posting here - any help would be appreciated ddi send register problem to developer - it says it cant find a program to send e-mail

I was just pondering how great it is to have Radar Contact 4.3 as an ATC Utility for my simulator. Even after almost a decade RC 4.3 stands the test of time, and is always there covering the whole world with excellent ATC service. We 4.3 users have it real good I must say. A very big thanks to all involved in the making of RC 4.3, and for the ongoing support to new and veteran users. <STANDING OVATION>

Can anyone help me with this problem. I ordered radar contact 4 one week ago and downloaded the software one week ago, and I have sent away my email requesting the activation key but no joy. The only response I got was my email address wasn't in their records so activation has failed! This is rubbish because I only have the one email address and I used It.The thing that is annoying is they get your money and you have nothing to show for it. Can anyone shed any light on this matter for me, I have all the receipts and everything else BUT NO ACTIVATION KEY! :mad:

When I start rcv4 and ask for the weather (ATIS) I'm told to standby... forever. I'm getting a "runtime error 75 Radar Contact.fsuipc.rcv4code" Any suggestions? Bob

Does Radar contact work with Flight Sim 2004 or only with Flight Sim X? Bob
