Before I started (trying to get RC4.3 working ) with P3Dv2.5, I was a bit unsure it would work (since RC4.3 was never intended for P3D nor 64 bit operating systems). Hi I am running Win7 64bit OS and have been using RC for years. Have just replaced HD and reinstalled RC, registered and run RC as Administrator. RC opens when selected but when I select General and.flt/wx tabs to set paths and select eg-plane data,pilot responses etc when I click OK button the following fault dialog box appears: Runtime error "481" invalid picture and RC immediately closes. All MS updates have been installed including MS visual ++ 2010,2012 Redistributable(x64). File MSCOMCTL.OCX in SYSWOW64 folder is registered. Latest versions of Makerwys.exe and FSUIPC are installed. Hello, I was using RC 4 for some time now. Sometimes I come across a problem, where I use my co-pilot for flying all the way from taking off to final landing clearance. So it happens that when I am near my airport to land and after i got the approach clearance, the controller says i need to descent to my final altitude and turn to xx degrees (that it is not accurate sometimes to intercept the loc) and my co pilot disconnects saying ''plane is yours''. It happens from time to time. So the question is why: is it something in the settings, i ran makerunways, have registered fsuipc. Please, help i want my copilot all the way Thank you.

I have been using RC4.3 for a very long time with FS2004. I built a new PC to run both FS2004 and Prepar3D 2.5 Since I am trying to maximize FPS I am looking to run as much as I can do via WideFs on my older PC. I have already installed MakeRunways in both FS2004 and P3D. I have the latest FSUIPC versions for both FS2004 and Prepar3d installed and operating fine. I am able to connect in the Client PC with both FS2004 and Prepar3d via WideFs. What do I have to do next? Thanks

I seem to have fouled up the Excel file 'C4' in the Data folder somehow. Whenever I choose an airline in the Plane Data droplist it gives me the previous Callsign. I've tried to post an image but for some reason this website gets stuck. Anyway hope I can verbalize it. The C4 file shows two particular airlines that I use have become duplicated and the list is misaligned. It's not too big an issue since all I have to do is choose the previous airline and RC4 calls the right one, but it's not the way it's supposed to be. Any help? Andrew

Here I am again - I have RC on network and on my fltsim as well - when running P3d I always receive the QNH as 000. Also weather brief gives 000. I have FSX,P3D,Xplane on one PC - use RC on PC for xplane and RC on network for P3D. Have ASN running for weather - FSX gives correct QNH when running RC with it - think my paths are wrong somewhere. Must be doing something wrong somewhere. Good to be using this prog again. All the best Denis B

Hi, I have recently purchased FSX-SE and when I used to use FS9 I used RC4.3 without any problem. I have downloaded and registered RC4 with a new registration key, that worked fine. I need to run Rebuild Scenery DB first of all but it does not recognise the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX as the location of my FSX file (and it is correct). I get runtime error 75, can't find path. I have downloaded the latest version of FSUIPC, and that seems to be working. What can the problem be? Thanks, Paul

This happens to me on rare occasion, but when it does it creates a pretty annoying condition. RC4 has a tendency to give an extreme (on the order of 13,000 feet or more between altitude points) descent in '30 miles or less' while I'm flying a prop. This usually means a 2000ft or higher descent profile which is almost like a high speed dive when you don't have air brakes. Is there some configuration setting somewhere which starts the descent further out so the reduction of altitude isn't so extreme?

Gudday all, I have done a clean installation of P3D V2.5 and need to install Radar Contact. I do not have FSX installed. When installing Radar Contact I get a message that says"Registry Key for FSX not found, please browse to your FSX directory and press OK" Can anybody tell me how to install Radar Contact in P3D without having FSX? Hi, I used to be able to save a route and have it open in Google Earth automatically. However, since I updated to G.E. 7.1.5.1557 this doesn't work anymore. Is there a solution to get this working again ? I'm using FSC 9.6 rev. 1 Martin

How long does it take to receive a new key these days? I think I might have spammed the thing a few weeks ago, and don't want to do it again. I have fixed my problem "with a new pc" so I take it old key wont work?

As the topic mentions, I approach and pass the TOD marker, and as a trial I don't do anything to see if RC will tell me to descend. I waited 2-4 minutes well passing TOD but no update or word from RC. I have read as much as I could regarding the matter/ including the manual and tutorials. I'm not a noob in flight sims but am at Radar Contact coming from ProATC X. Any suggestion welcome. Thanks in advance, Ken

When I export a flight plan very often even with FSX, that RC4 would be empty where there should be way points in the window where there should be, there is no altitude information set either. Am I doing something wrong, does this just not work with PFPX?

Why am I being instructed to change my transponder code so many times every flight? I had a flight that was barely 800 miles long and was instructed to change it 7 times. Twice while climbing out. It probably would have been more if I hadnt turned it off and finshed the flight in silence. And thats after being instructed to taxi to the farest possible runway for takeoff even though AI aircraft were taking off on it and the closest runway to me. And then there are all the missing callsigns without any apparent update coming, no "heavy" for any AI, being vectored into head on traffic on the runway, planes crossing in front of me while rolling out after landing, it not seein…

I've gotten this to work in the past, though I can't fathom what is causing it to do this now. I have the option clicked where it asks "do nothing" under the muting options for programs when not on top. So what else is there to do?

good afternoon, does anyone know if/and where I could get a list of all the dialog choices that are on screen? Basically, I would like to use game commander (voice control) to communicate with RCV4. And I don't feel like going through a whole flight just to write down all the voice comm choices. I got this idea, because I see some people are using a program called MES or MCE (can't remember for sure) to control RCV4 by voice. I don't think that would work for me as my co-pilot functionality is provided by FS2Crew. But I can run game commander and FS2Crew at the same time. It asks to set up Paths for .wx What folder should I point to for this items? My post was about this working with P3D, but after installing a DLL to get rid of the MSSTDFMT.dll error, I have everything working. I just need to know where the wx should be pointed.

Whilst I do understand that the ATC control is minimal when I arrive at my destination airport, can someone please advise me, what is the point, if any, of entering an arrival gate number in the controller info page? I have the need to reassign keyboard keys 1 and 2 for use in Aerosoft's A329/A321 Checklist selections. Therefore, I reassigned Selection 1 to Key 6 (which lists in the RC Keyboard.dat file as 54), Selection 2 to Key 7 (lists 55) etcetera through Selection 5 to Key 0 (lists as 48). I reassigned Menu Page Right to "CTRL" plus "=" (lists as 699) and Menu Page Left to "CTRL" plus "-" (lists as 701) and saved and restarted FSX as required. Running RC, I noted that "CTRL =" is displayed as Menu Page Right and creates a Page Right, but "CTRL 1/2" is displayed for Menu Page Left and there is no "1/2" key on my QUERTY keyboard and the "CTRL plus -" press does not create a M…

Hi, since two days I am trying to get a new RC4 Registration Key. I sent an Email with the number ! First Name ! Last Name to the known email address, but I only receive a reply that MY Email is not correct. I bought the software 9 years ago and I cannot remember what Email I used. A request for a change of Email Adress is not being replied. Is there any other way to get help here? Best regards Frank

Hope that I can get some help with this. In radar contact after I request my ifr clearance the "clearance on request" message just keeps repeating but the clearance is never provided after I acknowledge the message. I just keeps repeating. Has anyone had any experience with this problem and found a solution?

Expert RC Tutor Ron: First of all Happy Holidays! Everyone is apparently limited to FSX exit numbering script. I have already "corrected" Shift+E+number to x+number and I use the lonely "x" to open the main exit, as this does not activate any command in RC; However, the minute that I open a cargo door with "x+2" while RC is active, immediately I have to be ready to copy my clearance, as the number 2 activates the request for my clearance.
