Hi, I reinstalled RC4 on a new computer, sent the key request email from the install program, over 24 hours now and have not received a new key. Someone please help! Alan

I'm trying to set FSX up on my laptop, and I can't remember if I've got a copy on my PC or not.

Hi Folks, Is there a way to temporarily mute the chatter files if you have them enabled ??? They get in the way when running checklists - but I do like the ambiance they add... As long as we are talking chatter - has anyone ever put together a good package to add new chatter files ??? LOL - I've been using RC4 since it came out and I know most of them by heart - it would be nice to add some new ones to the mix... Thanks !!! Regards, Scott

This is strange. I am flying along and RC4 tells me I am off my filed route of flight. I look at the RC4 window and see waypoints and headings have been added to my flightplan that were NEVER there. I actually watched the waypoints and headings change. As a result, I am being told I am off course. I have to get RC4 to see the next real waypoint to stop the nag. Has anybody else experienced this? Why is this happening.

Hi Folks, Just recently started using "Voice Attack" to control RC4... Wow - seriously breathes new life into this software and makes it much more enjoyable... Voice recognition seems almost perfect these days and it seldom misses a command... Would anyone have a list of keystrokes used with RC4 (besides the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0) that we routinely use ??? Wasn't there a command to "repeat last" in case you missed it ??? Then there was "transfer to copilot" ??? Anything else I am missing ??? Thanks... Regards, Scott

I've sent innumerable emails to the automated address using just as many formats to induce the number generator to email me, all to no avail. Can anyone assist me, its been 24 hrs since purchase and quite honestly ........ Chris.

Hi All, I hate to feel like a nag, but I sent a note to the automated registration address yesterday, and have yet to hear back. I've checked my junk mail repeatedly, and it isn' caught in there. Thanks for looking into this when able.

Hi, I am still waiting for the code to re-register RC4 - it's been more than 36 hours now. I first sent it from the wrong email and received a Reply almost immediately, but after sending it from the right one: Nothing. Can someone help? Thanks

I've been away from Radar Contact for a while. But left it installed. When I try to run the Rebuild Scenery Database I get: Runtime Error 75: Path/File access error After having FSX running and selection a flight plan in RC and configuring General/Voices and then pressing Start RC. I get the following error radarcontact.fsuipc.rcv4.code .Flight / .WX Path has been set. I don't know what else to tell. But what am I missing? Thanks to all who reply. Hi All I opted for a full IAP to LIRF (ISD scenery for FS9) recently but the full list of runways was not displayed......the northerly runways 34L and 34R were not displayed as options.(16C/34C) is not on the scenery. The missing runways appear to be in the.csv files (detected OK by makerunways) and they are OK in the airac files. Can you suggest why this happened please. David Ireland .UK

Hey guys, I've hit a wall with a problem I'm having getting RC to work properly with FSX. I keep getting a 'run-time error 75 : RadarContact.fsuipc.rcv4code' when I click for clearance delivery once I've started RC. I have up until this point had no problem running RC on my computer which has a Windows 10 OS and Kaspersky Antivirus software. Disclaimer: I noticed this issue last night when I was playing FSX for the first time in 9-10 months. I'm not aware of any major changes made to my computer since then that could interfere with RC, which, as I mentioned has never given me a problem before. Is anyone using the voice recognition software such as Super ATC / IYP with RC 4? If so how does it work? I am looking at RC4 vs Pilot2ATC and VoxATC as well. Thanks!

Hello all - long time since I've had to post here. Searched for this problem but no luck. RC4 works but the transparent menu window does not show up. I know that 1 will get me clearance, 7 acks but it soon gets more difficult, especially if I miss a waypoint and am told I am off course. Then I want to request direct to but, of course cannot see which numbers to key. This has happened without me doing anything that would be likely to cause a problem. I have a paid for FSUIPC and the latest version. I am using Windows 10 but it has worked ok in this up till recently. Any ideas as to what I can try please? Iain Smith

Until recently I've been able to hide my RC4 window using the key combination or clicking the 'x' in the upper right hand corner of the RC4 window. Now when I push the key combo nothing happens and when I click the 'x' the window disapppears but then automatically reappears after a few seconds. The window won't stay hidden and I don't know why. I've noticed when flying into smaller airports with an ILS approach, I'm sent downwind for over 50 miles. One time, I was sent so far downwind that when I was finally turned for the 50 mile final, I was vectored into a mountain. Thanks, Matt

Hi, I'm using RCv4 with P3D in a network configuration on a second PC (using WideFS). I'm having some problems with the ATC audio, which is set to output to the network PCs built in speakers. All works well when I start a flight but at some point the audio stops playing (even though RC is still running). Sometimes I can get the sound to come back by switching the output within windows to my USB headset. I'm also using Simphysics on the networked PC and sometimes closing this program mades the audio play again on the speakers - but not always. It seems as if something is causing a conflict. I know this has been beat up many times, which surprises me this error is still around. I running RDC on a second machine. I have all proper drives shared and mapped. Fsuipc, widefs, etc. In fact i have Flightsim commander running fine on my second computer. I keep getting a runtime error of 713. I have done all the procedures in the CMD (with administrator rights) window, with hopeful success. I also put the msstdfmt.dll in windows folder system32 and syswow64 folder, on both machines. Every once in a while I get message saying I am off my flight plan that I filed. I will clearly be going direct to my next waypoint and on the route I filed. What cause this? HI, I have been trying all the day to make RC4.3 say "Scandinavian" instead of "Sierra" with UT2, but without success. I checked c4.csv and it's correctly written "SCANDINAVIAN,SCANDINAVIAN,Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) - Sweden,0, 0", while in Aircraft.cfg I have "atc_airline=SCANDINAVIAN". Further, the "Scandinavian.wav" file is present in all ATC folders inside Winwood folder. I increased the spawn distance in UT2 to 40 Nm, but there is no way... This happens both on the ground and in cruise. Other airlines are correctly spoken. What else could I try? Thank you!
