We fielded a complex email issue this week that affected several RCv4 customers, for that we apologize. Having to wait days for a Registration Key is unacceptable. As of a few hours ago this problem's been resolved. From this point forward and for the fastest key generation, send an email with the following characteristics (no quotes) and you will get your key within 15min: 1). Send the request to: "[email protected]" 2). The subject line should be: "RCv4 Key Request" 3). The body of the email should contain: "nnnnnnnnnn ! Firstname ! The plan was MCOY9 SAV HUSTN2. Everything went OK except a few pilot errors, lol. First I was reported off course and the RC window showed ORL VOR as the next waypoint when I already crossed it. I think what happened is since it was within 30 miles of the airport I had a DP of course. So I guided myself there but probably didn't cross it within 2 miles but the GPS showed the next waypoint. So partly a fault on me, lol. I requested direct to the next waypoint right when this happened and all was fine. One other quick question. Hi I continually have a problem saving a flight when using Radar Contact with P3D V2.2. I save file option from within P3D V2.2. Save path for .flt and.wx files in Radar Contact options is set correctly. Rebuilt scenery db has been actioned. MakeRwys.exe is updated and has been run. Latest P3D V2.2 FSUIPC version is installed. For some reason when I save a flight (Noel) the following files are created: Noel.fxml, Noel.rcd, and Noel.WX. No file named Noel.flt is created and when I attempt to resume a saved flight by selecting Noel.rcd file, ok a dialog box appears saying that .flt cannot be found and Radar Contact starts from initial start of flight plan …

Hi! I'm thinking of moving on to P3D, since there is an advanced aircraft (Majestic Dash 8-400Q) together with FS2Crew now offically is working in P3D. The only thing missing then is RC. I have been trying to figure out how to have it installed but still a little bit confused. I have RC and FSX installed and working on the same computer as I will use for P3D. Do I have to have a separate installation of RC for P3D? I still want to have the possibilty to use it with FSX. Would be nice to have a simple step-by-step-gudie on how to intall it in to P3D. Should the NOTAMS option always work for difficult approaches that have high terrian or require an offset to get to the runway? Because since the default GPS has it's limitations and it's IAPs are out of date, I won't be able to fly approaches that require holding patterns or are an offset. So in this case should I always use NOTAMS so I can deviate instructions if necessary? I just did a flight today from KSFO to PHOG and all went well. I flew the CAMPS arrival into PHOg and requested IAP. The crossing restriction was 12000 and RC was going to vector me into a downwind. But I flew the STAR to CAMPS and and them turned final to the FAF and had a successful landing. …

I just finished a flight from KBUR using the VNY1 DP and PXN3 STAR for KOAK. The flight was all good until the radar vectors started after BUSHY. RC had me on a heading of 300 which roughly still headed towards SUNOL. I brought the speed back to 210 from 250 after RC head me decend from 11000. I kept on the heading of 300 until SUNOL, and the contoller never turned me onto the base entry. So I requested Visual approach and turned base heading 205 and then intercepted final on a heading of 265. I am not understanding what is happening. Thanks.

Is this correct of my understanding i want to fly my SID out of edinburgh my home airport. I select no alt rest. And ATC gives me climb to FL060 so if i level off at FL050 ATC won't nag me till 30nm but what happens if i fly above it lets say FL070 ATC will still leave me alone ok i got it BUT... So why give a FL during climb out why can they not just give you clearance without an assigned alt.

For example, the Lynxx Eight arrival into KBUR I think requires a sort of holding pattern which I think is an offset approach. Can I use the heading on the autopilot to fly the holding pattern/offset, or is that not the correct way? Thanks.

Ok i think i'll start a new topic on this one! I tune ATIS to get the weather brief before clearance or 15 mins before EOBT After that i cannot re-tune ATIS or listen to it again. I have checked the freq and it doesn't play on comm 1 or any comms on my 737 ngx This also applies to my destination airport edinburgh, i tuned ATIS and NOTHING there was no ATIS coming through and i did check the freq. What ever I did, unilstalled/reinsatlled , changed the keyboard numbers still RC skipping some conversations, like "No connection to Ground Control" and Co/iplot not is not responsing to ATC instruction like contact NY Center frq 133.15. How can I correct this problem?

I have used the correct format and get an email response saying the email is not in the system. Purchased it on Thursday it is now Sunday. Emailed support on Friday and nothing. Not upset as it might be an issue on my end and I know everyone has a life but its 50.00. Anybody have any ideas for where I should go from here. Contacted the company i bought it from but have not heard back from them either. I just got done reading about the shelving of version 5 so I can only assume much is going on in the life of the developer.

OK, I know I have asked this sort of question before, but am still struggling to understand. First, I have found a way to update the waypoints in the FSX planner for free. I sort of have the idea of including common points in the plan. But there are certain SIDS and STARS that require a certain direction to take off or land. An example SID could be the KLAX HOLTZ9. This SID only uses the westerly runways for takeoff. But the problem is, before I start the flight, I don't know if KLAX is taking off west or east. And this SID is only for taking off to the west. Now a STAR example could be the KLAX RIVVR2 arrival. This arrival is also for the west runways, but again K…

Hello, I have been trying to fly this departure but can't seem to know how to fly this. It says to intercept SLI radial 345 I think threw radar vectors. So will I have to plug in SLI VOR in the airplane and intercept the radial or is there another way to do it? Thanks. P.S. For some reason, I still seem kind of confused with how to fly SIDS and STARS with RC. This stuff seems complicated. Ok, I get confused on some SIDS, STARS and Approach Procedures. On some SIDS, I see a part where it says to expect vectors to a fix. For example, take a look at the Loop Seven Departure out of KLAX. Here's the link: http://skyvector.com/files/tpp/1405/pdf/00237LOOP.PDF. How would Radar Contact handle this, since this SID chart says to takeoff heading 250 and then expect Radar Vectors back to LAX VOR? I'm using the default GPS for the flights I do, so I don't know what to plug in the flight planner. A few other STARS I'm confused on is the Lynnx Eight arrival into KBUR. I've been looking for a good ATC replacement that works well with My Traffic Live. I've been looking at Radar Contact, PFE, and Pro ATC. However, I'm undecided on which to get. Can someone help me out please. Like I previously said, I would to find an ATC addon that can work well with My Traffic Live, have different ascent in different regions of the world, and that it can work well with my PMDG 777, 747, and 737NGX.

Hi there - I'm really hoping someone can help with this as I've tried everything to no avail. Basically I'm completely unable to use RCv4, because every time I start it, my aircraft is moved to a different location on the airfield, and there is no RC display window visible. In fact, there is no evidence that RC4 has actually started, other than that my aircraft has shifted several yards across the airfield. Adventure Text Display (ADV) Setup is not showing up on my menus when in fsx flight.

Twice now I've run into the problem of getting to a point in my loaded flight, which was previously saved, and the ATC contacts me, and I hit the appropriate button to respond, but nothing happens, I turned off my keyboard, turned it back on, and nothing, even reloaded the flight.and got to the same point with the same response. Any clue as to what is going wrong?

Followed the CMD instructions but still doesn't work do i have to download the dll file or something?

I was trying to reactivate my old copy of rc4 since the release of ver4 my old email was deactivated long time ago, so was I registering new info, but I was kinda wondering if my email was denied because of new email I used. I followed the pinned instructions and I'm waiting for a response since yesterday. How long will this be processed?
