Hello, I got this error message...Run time error '75 RC.fsuipc.rcv4code. I cannot seem to find a solution for this and was hoping that the more experienced could possibly enlighten me and get me back in the virtual cockpit with RC4. I am running windows 7, FSX, service packs 1 and 2 also have the latest Fsuipc version. Can someone please assist? have waited a while for the reg key and now this problem. Thanks in advance, Allan

When I copy and paste my 32 digit registration number to its box, it does not do anything. The dialog box disappears after about five seconds, but nothing happens. What is the problem? JP Shelton

I too am unable to receive my Key request. I ordered the product the evening of April 17th. I have sent the key request in under two different email accounts I use. I attach my business account to my gmail account and thought maybe the on line order process might have used the gmail address rather than the business address. I have sent it in with the correct formatting through both email accounts and get back the same canned response that the email does not match. I have also sent an email to JD at [email protected] with this same explanation and a copy of my receipt. Have not heard back from him yet. Could you please provide some tips for flight planning with radar contact? I need help with creating flight plans for Radar Contact. I'm using the FSX default planes with the standard Garmin GPS. I would like to be able to use SIDS and STARS in the flight plans also. If I can't do this with the default GPS, then that's OK to. If someone could walk me through a flight, I would be very grateful. Also, the FSX data that I have for the navigation waypoints is outdated. I wouldn't like to have to update FSX either. Greetings I am new to Radar Contact. I want to begin navigating the learning curve. I am in the midst of the manual. How refreshing...a very complete manual! I digress. What I would appreciate is an idea of how best to manage altitude. Example, the approach into Calgary International Airport (CYYC) from the West, is somewhat abrupt. Over the course of the final ~100 miles, altitude changes by about 8000 feet. I don't want to get vectored into a mountain. What is the best approach to terrain avoidance? I'm having a little bit of trouble with straight in approaches and radar contact. I usually take radar vectors to the runway. When I fly the far side approaches or using downwind base and final, all is fine. However the last few times when I was on a near side approach for example KOAK, after BUSHY intersection, Center handed me off to approach. Approach then told me to expect vectors for runway 29. Then they kept me on a heading of 300 and I flew right pass the airport without them turning me to intercept the localizer. They also never got back to me. I'm a longtime user of RC and (surprisingly) just found out about the meatwater voicepacks available in the AVSIM library. I would welcome more realistic voices for RC and would appreciate it if anyone could give a quick review of the files, as far as how they enhance or replace the default ATC/Pilot/Copilot voices and any other relevant information (pros-cons) before I download them. Hi Everyone I already have Radar Contact 4.3.3845 installed on my PC from previous installs of FSX and P3D, I'm not sure whether I should reinstall in case it will need re-activating. I've downloaded the latest FSUIPC 4.931 and run the installer, it said it didn't recognize the version of P3D, but seemed to install ok. When I run P3D, and then start the plan in RC, the window appears ok, but it just displays a lower case "d" that never changes. It seems as though things are working ok, as I tried hitting a few keys from memory and can get responses and get a certain distance into my flight. Hi everyone, RC seems to work okay except that I can not always hear an instruction. The only way I know an instruction has been sent is that ATC asks if I heard the last. Any thoughts on this issue?

I have installed RC on my FS2004 and it is working with no issues. When I installed RC, I choose the install for FS2004 and it installed into a directory C:RC\RC4 Since then I have now installed FSX on my same machine. I would like to use both FS2004 and FSX with Radar Contact. What procedure do I need to do to add RC to FSX now that I already have RC installed with FS2004 ? What directory do I have it install the FSX files into ?

Ok, 1. I found the files onthe AVSIM Library. I understand there are zip files 1-10 Correct? Y N 2. I unziped them to my windwood folder per readme. So are these Voice Effects? OR (hopefully) are there more VOICES to go with RCV4? 3. I did not see any voices added when I looked in my voices tab. I did a rebuild scenery and still no voices. so ??? Possible Hint as to what I did wrong... I have no "Bryan Opalka P# (as COPILOT)" in my list of voices. Hmmm. I've been trying to fly from KLGB to PANC, but each time I get told I'm off course and get told to turn back until I'm back to where I got off course. What would make RC4 think I'm off course? It's always at the same point in the flight. Should I rebuild my database, or something?

I Just recieved my disc. I have Win 7. I clicked on the .exe file, then I extracted the files to my desktop. However it appears that RCv43.1.bin will not extract. It says Error 0x80004005 unexpected error. I tried to do the setup but it stopped. What do I need to do ??

Hello I just did a complete reinstall of everything. RC is behaving a little strangely. Yesterday I departed WSSS for EGLL. I loaded the FSX flight plan into RC. I took off, RC handed me off to Kuala Lumpur control but it hasn't handed me off to any subsequent control after that. I'm now over Europe and I am still talking to Kuala Lumpur control! It is still instructing me to climb etc, and I can request FL changes, deviate for weather etc, but RC has not handed me off to the next controllers in sequence. I have also noticed that some of the calls/requests are missing and no AI interaction/calls seem to be happening - for example, during the descent, handed off to KL …

I'm a little confused with how to fly some sids and stars in radar contact. I've seen some sids that say to expect radar vectors and some stars that use radar vectors too. How would these types of sids and stars work in radar contact? For example take a look at the loop departure out of klax. It says to depart heading 250 degrees and then expect vectors back to lax vor. I'm using default gps with radar contact so how would set up that flight plan in the flight planner? And how would radar contact handle this departure? Now take a look at the Arlin three arrival in phoniex. It says after tukee intersection to expect radar vectors for 26 or 25 runways. I know radar…

Hi folks, Firstly I'm really sorry if this has been dealt with by another post already - I did have a look and couldn't see anything that matched my problem but I put my hands up if I'm duplicating anything! Pretty simple problem, I'm running FSX in DX10 mode at the mo, and everything seems to be working fine, except that the RC options window is not appearing - I can still hear the comms, and from memory I know what most of the options are so to an extent I can still use it, but it is a bit tricky without the window being visible - is there a compatibility issue with DX10 with RC4? Or is there a specific fix for this problem, as it would be really nice to get RC4…

Hey, This isn't actually for me but one of my friends at my VA. He was gonna post here but he couldn't because for some reason the forums didn't recognize he registered. He bought Radar Contact 4 yesterday, he tried doing the automatic email for his product key but I guess it didn't go through. He also contacted the help desk email but got no reply from there either. Is there any email or person I can forward him to so he can get help with this?

I am doing the RTW trip http://www.dmcity.com/slarty/route.html Currently in Canada. Arriving CYQX Gander, RC gave me an ILS for Rwy 13 (but there isn't one listed) when I flew it the alignment was way off RC gave me Rwy 4 to depart but the nearest is Ryw 03! Landing at Moncton, RC gave me an ILS for Rwy 06 but again there isn't one listed and when I tried to fly it, it was completely wrong. I am pretty sure I ran the Rebuild Scenery DB when I installed RC and I haven't added any scenery since (added a/c). Is there a reason here to run rebiuld again? Will it cause any problems? Ok I just bought RC 4 and it works very well and I did a perfect flight being vectored in etc. However there are some problems. I have my UT2 on full whack therefore all general aviation and commercial flights are at the highest popularity. The problems I am getting is that I have not yet had a successful landing clearance I rather get the "Go around" as there is an aircraft ahead of me on the runway. I am led to believe that RC4 freezes aircraft at the hold so it doesn't cause a collision but its not doing this? I also tell RC4 what runways are in use therefore all AI traffic will depart and arrive on a certain runway. however I get aircraft landing …

Another question. I am finding sometimes I get a long wait before I can acknowledge an instruction (before the 1 or 7 are available). I realise that in real-life there can be a delay, but sometimes these are of the order of 20 - 25 seconds. Other times the response is immediate. When it's slow and yet the situation is busy, it's frustrating to have to keep remembering to respond whilst other things need doing. Is there any way of making the exchanges feel more immediate? Thanks Nigel P.S. I am on a new and fast PC now, but when I ran this years ago I felt the response times weren't so slow.
