This is a new airplane developed by captain Sim. It is almost perfect airplane. From the day one I always fly with RC. Recently I tried the RC with CS-L1011. RC does not auto turn the radios. I have to put frequency every time and it is not practical during long trip. Is there some way I can activate "RC Auto Turn Radio Frequencies " function? Thanks

My flight plan into KLAX included a star with all the waypoints. On approach, at about 40M out, ATC began to vector me, ignoring my remaining 3 waypoints which comprised the STAR. Which menu selection should be selected to be able to initiate, and complete, the STAR, rather than being vectored by ATC? Is it "Req IAP App"? Or is there another way to accomplish this? Thanks for info.

I was wondering if anyone has successfully imported and used a flight plan file created with SimBrief. I tried the other day with no luck. I am placing a copy of that file here in hopes a solution might be reached as to why it won't work. This is a FSX flight plan file from KPHL to KIAD created with Simbrief (route is MXE HYPER4). Thanks, Todd <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="1,0"> <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr> <FlightPlan.FlightPlan> <Title>KPHL to KIAD</Title> <FPType>IFR</FPType> <RouteType>HighAlt</RouteTyp…

I recently reinstalled w7 and consequently my software. PC is fairly up to date and not struggled before, Since then RC4 is constantly lagging. I can have a queue of instructions to respond to, particularly on approach, without even thinking about changing to a rnav. Grateful for any hints or tips... Regards David

Hello, I am oming up to you about the possibility to use the COM 2 Radio channel with the NGX. It is possible ? I´ve tried to the set the clearance frequency or similar to the COM2 Radio but nothing happens so far. Do I have to set the audio selection panel in a Special Position ? I don´t understand so far the issue why the COM2 does not function. Has anyone any hints and tips to get this channel running ? Many Thanks ! Cheers Pascal

Hi Guys, I'm still on the hunt for a good ATC solution, where I can speak to the ATC. After trying VoxATC I'm not 100% happy with it for a few reasons. So I'm looking at RC. To speak to RC, I know there are both options MCE or IYP. Since I don't care to control my plane by voice (I have controls for that), the only reason I would buy either product is to speak to ATC and RC. So I'm hoping to hear from experienced users which one works best for speaking to RC (and for VFR speaking to default FSX atc). I trialled MCE with default ATC with mixed results, readbacks didn't always work but it may need more training. I haven't tried IYP yet. many thanks …

Once in a blue moon I will realize that my heading says something like 345, when my mcp is at the direction specified by the ATC. So I change my heading to be what the ATC wants, and the ATC yells at me about being off course, and only calms when I set the MCP to the designated course, even though the heading I am flying is wrong. What do I do? Just ignore the ATC in this case?

I had to reinstall RC after getting a new motherboard and reinstalling Windows 7 64 bit(previously 32bit) I got the license key and activated the software. I fired up fs9, created a flightplan and was placed at the departure airport. I opened up RC, chose the flight and hit Start. The RC adv window showed up ok. I hit the 2 button for wx, but get the atis scrolling message- no voice. I tried the clearance button- no response. What's wrong? Misgav

Don't quite know which is the problem here, Radar Contact or the Leveld767. I am running leveld on fsx, with widefs, I am running RC on a networked PC via widefs. When I start Radar Contact while running the levelD, the level D, suddenly jumps to a random location, and I get a collision notice as if I had rolled into something. I have tested the same problem with RC and LD767 on the same pc, and get the same results. Anybody know what's going on? I'm stumped at the moment. Thanks! Miklos

I have FSUIPC set to autosave the flight, and I also occasionally save it manually, and it registered that it was saving the flight, but only saved the FSX version, and not a RC file. I flew earlier in the day, and saved it the same way, and had no problems, what causes RC4 to forget the folder you set for FSX saves?

In cases where the registration request e-mail can not be created from the RC registration dialog box, here is the e-mail format which must be followed exactly substituting your information: To: register_at_jdtllc.com From: Ron Ginsberg <[email protected]> Subject: RCv4 Key Request -nnnnnnnnnn ! Ron ! Ginsberg Replace the _at_ above with @. nnnnnnnnn is the product code from the registration dialog box. Include the "-" only if in the product code. 2 spaces after the last product character. 1 space after the "!", then 2 spaces after the first name. "!" then 1 space followed by your last name with no trailing spaces, just the Enter key. If you …

I'm attempting to re-install RC 4.3 to a clean copy of FSX. When in process of extracting the compressed files from the RC 4.3 CD to my Hdd, the process stops after reaching approximately 80% of completion with the error message reflecting error code 0x80004005. The file that is having the problem is rcv43-1.bin which is the largest of the 3 files contained on the CD. Anyone have any possible solutions? Thanks very much for any information.

Have been enjoying RC very much. The tutorials are helpful, too. I have noticed one problem, however. The manual says "Be aware, if the co-pilot has the aircraft and you have the radios, the co-pilot will not execute controller clearances until you acknowledge that clearance." I have followed the instructions carefully, but the co-pilot does not wait for my acknowledgement before inserting a new heading or altitude when requested by ATC. Thanks for the help. Btw, I'm using Windows 7 64x and Prepar3d.

Hello everyone. I've not posted much on this site, so please do excuse my ignorance if this is not the right place to ask this question. I have been using Radar Contact V4.3 with PMDG Ngx for a few days now. I use flight plans made in vRoute (exported to pln files), which are uploaded on Radar contact. My question is one of realism, in terms of the radar controller's instructions. Usually, I get cleared to fly planned route as filed, and climb to say 5000 ft after take off. In my FMC on the PMDG, I have waypoints with speed and altitude targets, as you know, and I usually use the LNAV/VNAV mode with autopilot. However, sometimes, the controller will t…
