Still waiting on a response! I had to do a windows re-install and lost RC how do i download it again? If i go to the website i have to pay for it again? Kinda getting frustrated now can't get to download it atall

Not having any luck getting my reg key , i've followed all stickys and contacted jd but my email is not on his records so my reg key cannot be processed . This is not acceptable to be honest . I would appreciate any help from ppl on the forums . Thanks in advance . Paul Readings .

What is everyone's opinion on running Active Sky and Radar Contact from a client PC over a network? Is it worth it or will there only be a minimal performance gain from it? Thanks.

When I selected FSX flight plan, I got runtime error 5 which forced RC4 to shut itself down. Any idea why and how to correct this?

I have some questions on the use of these types of SIDS and STARS in RC. I am also using the default GPS in FSX which can't load a second flightplan enroute and can't modify flightplans. So let's say for example we want to fly from KLAX to KLAS. The main SID is Loop 7 at KLAX and Kepc 3 at KLAS. Loop 7 is for the 25 and 24 runways. But let's say you have to use the 6 and 7 runways. I don't know if you have to change the SID or not. And the STAR at KLAS is for 25L I believe. But what if the back of this runway is in use by the AI and RC or the other runways are in use? I'm not sure what the proper way to do this would be.

I am the sole user of my PC. I am the owner of my PC, and somehow windows 8 has denied me the ability to access my documents, at least from radar contact. What do I do to get permission?

Don't know if anyone has had this happen before, but usually it seems to happen when ascending and you need to contact the ATC. I've noticed on an odd tendency even though I had pressed "1" to contact and acknowledge it will immediately say "Delta 20 heavy unable." The ATC will reply "Ok, new plan, use your best rate." (or close enough). This doesn't seem to affect the flight at all, I just thought I'd report it.

I always have problems opening the display window if I accidentally close it. How do you get it back? There is some info here. I'm wondering if I installed Makerwys correctly from FSX. I updated Makerwys and put that in the main FSX folder, which is in the C drive since installing FS into the C drive is the better place to put it. After putting Makerwys in the main FS folder, I hit rebuild scenery in RC. I put the path to FS and hit no to wide FS. It then completed in just a few minutes. So do you think it worked correctly or was it something that I could of done wrong?

The last couple of flights that I've done have gone a little bit like this: "Expect vectors to runway 9L" I go through the trouble of setting up the ILS to land at 9L. Just as I get finished, it says "Expect vectors to runway 22R." Every time I've flown the last couple of times it's like Radar Contact can't make up its mind where it wants me to land. I've also run into the issue of being cleared to land and within feet of the runway told to "Go around." It can be quite frustrating. Is there anything I can do to make Radar Contact less... confused?

The new fsuipc 4.93 installed ok however when p3d ver 2.2 is started it immediately crashes. Any others with this problem????? Cheers Nels

I usually fly in the U.S. and go to flightaware to find a route and get charts. However, I wanted to try to start flying out of country in Europe and other countries. I haven't found any place to find a route and get charts. Does anyone know any sites to get routes and charts without having to sign up for anything? Thanks.

How would one add North American Airlines to RC?

Hi,I have recently noticed that RC (version 3.1) keeps resetting the decimal character in my (German) Windows XP from "," (German default) to "." (US/English default).With several other programs being dependant on the correct regional setting, I have to change it manually every time I use RC. I can't be the only one affected by this - any ideas/remedies out there?FritzPS: I looked up FAQ and forum history, but did not find any answers. OK, I occansily do IFR with the Cessna Skyhawk in FSX. I have some questions about how this would work. So the first question is, should I be flying direct, on victor airways or some other route? I looked on flightaware and found some routes for GA, but I'm not really sure if this is a proper source for this type of flying. So what route is appropriate for GA? Also, if flightaware really wouldn't work, what source should I be using to find a route? I am also flying with the default GPS in FSX with no addon GPS. Thanks very much. :rolleyes:

I just bought RC today. My first flight was KTPA to KPBI using the plan: GANDY6 SABEE RSTAA WLACE2 I put the WLACE2 STAR waypoints into the flightplan so that I could fly the STAR until the vectoring started. Before I reached GULLO, the last waypoint, I was vectored at 130 for RWY 9L. The approach should have been almost perfectly straight in from where I was. I assumed that eventually, I would be turned back towards the runway. Then RC forgot about me :( and I eventually turned around and asked for a visual approach. Hi there, I've re-installed Radar contact after clean fsx install but now get a message when starting RC up ' Please wait while Windows configures Navigraph Charts 4' It then asks me to insert the Navigraph Charts 4 disk. I click cancel and get an error 1706, I click ok and RC starts up without a problem and it works fine but I am baffled as to why it starts up like that. Anybody had this problem? I have had this at a couple of airports and tried again at each to make sure it was repeatable. I get the ATC clearance, taxi clearance and taxi to the holding point. I then get clearance to line up and wait, but after that nothing, no matter how long I wait (5 mins!). I realise that I have to go through a 'gate' between the holding point and being lined up, but I think I am doing it the same as at other airports where it works fine. I have taxied off and back on and even restarted RC4 and stepped thru' from ATC clearance to cleared to line up again, but still no take off clearance is given. Is there anyway to get around this when it happens, or stop it happening? …
