If I move RC to another computer and run it through WideFS, does that mean I have to uninstall it from my FS computer? Does anyone know if I'd have to do the same with AS2012 or PFPX? Thanks.

Hi, to get rc4 sounds through my headset, i use to switch the default device of mc pc to headset while fsx is running. The cockpit sounds stay on the loudspeakers. When running the aerosoft airbus the cockpits sounds follow the device setting and i get all sounds on my ears. Are there others captains who solved this issue.

Dear JD, 12 months of suspension period is slowly coming to the end. I hope that soon u will come back to coding and working on RCver.5. I'am waiting for new version of RC with great anxiety, as i do not see the way to fly FSX without RC support ( i am not online flyer... ) Fingers crossed, and hope that waiting time will not be prolonged excessively. HI everyone, I am experiencing a frustrating problem at uncontrolled airports when selecting CLR by FSS. RC4 shuts down after the phone call is made and I am told to wait. The erro it gives me is as follows; Run-time error 9 Radar.Contact.fsuipc.rcv4code I have read the forums here and came across a possible solution of making sure my makerunways.exe is up to date. I downloaded it and ran it as described in that thread but this has still not fixed the problems. If anyone has any solutions to this it would be much appreciated as I fly out of a lot of small airfields and cannot use RC4 when I do. Cheers, Sean.

Hi, On my last couple of flights to Tel Aviv I was told by LLBG approach with RC4 to use runway 30. This runway is now used for taxi only. Is the an way to eliminate this from RC4's ATC directions? Ed Kammerman

Does anybody else have this issue. When I go from window mode to full screen using RC I get CTD, when I'm not using RC I get no CTD, I can use any addon I like all together no CTD only when using RC! can anybody advise why. I do have the system32 dll in fsx. Cheers Rod.

I am using Multi Crew Experience to control RC4 by voice. The combination works really well, recognizing my voice & choice of phrasing just about every time & I must say I cannot imagine 'flying' without either of these programs now. I just have one recurring (minor) problem - Whenever I am told to change centre, and am given a new frequency, I acknowledge the instruction, but while I am still dialling the frequency, the original controller calls me again and tells me to please contact the new centre. I like to change the frequency and make the calls myself rather than just hit 'ack & contact'. Is there any way to increase the time given to adjust the radio?…

Good evening gents Any thoughts on the following, I have recently added Active Sky 2012 and the PMDG 737 to my flight sim X and have noticed recently that when I try saving a flight with the CTRL/Shift ; shortcut, which used to save an rcd file, the saved games now no longer appear appear in the list of saved RCD's when you try to load previous rcd files, however they do appear in the flight sim folder as normal, any ideas what I'm doing wrong. Well, we're off to a great start! (NOT!) While I'm writing this I am lined up for take off at ENNA (Norwegian Air Force Base, Banak, way up north) RWY 17. The last TWR instruction I got was: "Lufthansa 229, Tower, Runway 17, line up and wait". And that was 10 minutes ago... This is obviously not supposed to happen! I use FSBuild to build my flight plans. If I use a SID with a height restriction, then RC starts shouting at me to increase my altitude. Most SIDs require a stepped altitude up to the selected altitude which means that there is zero rate of climb for a number of periods during the SID. RC will not allow this. Is there a way of overcoming this problem? Chris Hall.

Hi, is it possible to edit the AdvDisp, mine is currently semi-transparent with red text. I would like to reduce the transparency & maybe change the text colour and/or size to increase legibility. Thanks for any help, Keith

Hi, I am trying to follow the first tutorial, KDSM to KORD, and it tells me to input gate B3 at KDSM. That is not possible as no gate B3 shows up in my choices, at least not in my version of FSX. I have never added or edited any scenery in this area, so I'm not sure why it would be different to the tutorial. Before I deviate from the tutorial and enter any old gate number, can anyone throw any light on it please? Cheers Keith

Hi, I've purchased & downloaded RC4 today, the installation appeared to go smoothly, and I have registered, entered the key and switched off. When I now try to start RC4, I get the following error message: Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid If I change its properties to NOT run as administrator, it fires up ok. But I am trying to 'run as administrator' simply because I run FSX & all addons this way & I wanted to avoid any problem. Does anyone know why I would get this error message? Following a computer crash, I have re-installed FSX and various add ons. When I tried running RC 4.3 I had a RuntTme error 135. I managed to clear this by installing a .dll file as recommended. However, I now get a RunTime Error "75" - RadarContact.rcv4module.pilot_ack and no voices at all. I do NOT have Norton or Kapersky installed as I am currently using the Microsoft Security Essentials virus checker. I hope somebody can help as I cannot fly at all at the moment. In another thread in this forum there have been questions about "Super ATC" and its usability for RC4. What is pinned as "Super ATC Released" at the top of this forum refers to a subset of voice commands of IYP (It's Your Plane) specifically taylored to RC4. Hi all I have just purchased RCv4, and when I click START RC having loaded my FP, i get an error message "IPC timed out all retried". I have tried FPs from CaptainSim and FSX. I apologise if that has already been resolved elsewhere, but I couldn't find a search option in the forums. Cheers.

Good morning every body When i start rc it send my plane in the middle of the ocean. i try with fsx scenes and flight plan it's the same . .. my aircrat crash alone in the ocean . i use w7 64bits -fsx acceleration.. last update of fsuipc 4.9- sometimes i have "error 9 rc4 module initialise" or when i try to rebuilt the database it's said " the makerunways is not in the fs path" help me please . i love this add ons .. il was working fine until last week when i was in w7 32bits .Now i change to 64 and rc4 does not work.. thank you PS/ Sorry about my english

Hi there, I recently purchased radar contact v4, I've done a lot of reading and understand it, but when I go to use it in FSX the commands do not work? I'm lead to believe I have installed it correctly, is there something obvious I've missed? Many Thanks Richard

I just installed version 4.3 but everytime I try to open a flightplan, with the left button on the left side, I have a Runtime error 6 and RC closed after that. So what's wrong? I use Windows Vista.

Hello. I have a voice (sound) problem for RC4.3 I got radar contact4.3, and installed to my computer. THe installation was OK. But, the voice of ATC controllers are strange. (ATIS, pilot voices are also same.) It's not clear, and like a "clipping noise". (Sorry. I don't know this is exactly word or not in English. ) Of course, callsign test is same sistuation. I can't hear the callsign clear. Sounds of FSX and other FS apprications are no problem. (Playing clear sound) If you know how to solve this problem, please tell me.
