Hi Team, I recently purchased this great program and thoroughly enjoy it. By way of this forum and the manual I am getting the most out of the product. I particularly like the Australian .wav files, as they were recorded in an era before Australian domestic airlines moved to flight number call signs, and Ansett still existed! The one thing I would like to do is change the reference to Melbourne Control and Brisbane Control to Melbourne Centre and Brisbane Centre. So when I am handed off by Melbourne Departures, the controller says contact Melbourne Centre, rather than Melbourne Control. Australia moved to Centre from Control around 1999. Is this easily don…

Hi guys. For some time I want to give this testimony, and several times I always forgot. Roughly one month ago, I had a problem on my HD, which resulted in the need for replacement it. After all the marathon uninstall / reinstall, there I was ready for another flight. I decided to make a flight in Oceania, more precisely between Kosrae and the Marshall Islands. Hello. Just brought RCv4 got my email with the registration key from jd and did as instructed in the email but when i copy and paste the key into the start up screen RCv4 closes and when i restart RCv4 the registration screen comes up again,and sometimes i get a registration (not responding)error.Hope someone can help.I'm running Windows 8 don't know if this has a bearing on the problem. Anyone else have trouble getting an activation key? The last few times I've reinstalled RC4 and sent an automatically generated email I haven't gotten an activation key. It used to only take 15 minutes or so.

I installed an updated ADE file and after updating all databases using makerwys v 4.6.5.0 . As the title suggests, is there something to be done about the number 2 in the radar contact menu? The reason is this....to open secondary doors and/or cargo doors on quite a few aircraft the key presses involved are shift + e, release, then push #2. This of course initiates the activation of menu item #2 in the RC menu. Also, in certain aircraft (Feelthere/Wilco Evolution Vol. 2) it seems RC is "grabbing" the #2 command. What happens is you can get the cargo doors open for loading but further into the preflight when time for GSX pushback the cargo door will not close. Hey, I just received my attivation code when I launch Radar Contact it all goes fine the window comes up to put my code in I do that then click the button and it appears to think for a while then the programme just closes the next window never comes up i dont get any error msg no nothing its as if the actiavtion process is meant to just close the programme down!! I have a problem... (no not THAT problem!). Have recently added a number of addons to FSX. Have been a long time user of RC. A new owner of UTII. Since the UTII install, several airlines, most notably United are not being called out by RC, e.g. While taxiing for T/O was following a United plane that was being addressed as Uniform 384 by RC. Also another airline addressed as Sierra but did not note what airline that was given that name. Have looked (google, what else?) for some time tonight to find an answer and have found several close to mine, but the resolution was not fully documented...at least in the topics I found on the issue. Want Radar Contact to recognize Airline Callsigns instead of simply calling airline aircraft by their respective N numbers? Here is what I did. Thanks to Pete Dowson over at FSUIPC for patiently pointing me in the right direction. You can find this on Page 7 Advanced Users Guide. For convenience, here it is... Before you edit, change, move, etc your FSUPIC.INI file ALWAYS make a copy of it first! I recently purchased the Majestic Dash 8 400 aircraft and have done a number of flights with it and RC4. Everything works as it should with one exception: When I am cleared to descend (for example from 19000 to 9000 ft) I begin a 1500 fpm descent. Well before reaching the altitude, RC4 says "watch your altitude, your assigned altitude is 9000". I get this several more times before reaching the assigned altitude. I have done hundreds of flights with other aircraft and RC4 and have never encountered this before. I suspect something in the Majestic Dash 8 is telling RC4 it has reached altitude before it actually has (ALT SEL switch?). I'm curious if anyone else has e…

I have just installed RC 43384 with FSX / \win7. Following the manuals instructions, I loaded RC and pressed the FS200x Flight Plan button in anticipation of loading the FSBuild flight plans, previously saved in my PMDG>Flight Plans folder. (These are .rte files). When I point the Documents Library navigation window to my PMDG>Flight Plans folder, none of the flight plans that are saved there are visible Could anyone please advise what I am doing wrong? The manual on Page 26 just assumes this step was successful and presses on, so I am stuck , Probably something simple I'm doing wrong, I should add that these flight plans load fine into the PMDG FMS.. …

I was trying to simulate a COD. I selected change of destination in the RC window and a box appeared. I entered the ICAO of the airport, selected NOTAM, clicked ent. and the screen went totally black. Only the mouse pointer was visible. FSX was still running. I've tried this several times with the same result. I'd appreciate any help as to what I am doing wrong.

I tried several times to land at KCOS RC give me descend maintain 12000 until established on the localized. This is too high on wry 35l or 17L the chart calls for 8000 so which would I use to land

I purchased RC4 program and tried to run it after install. When I load a flight plan, "run time Error 5 invalid procedure call or argument" pop up. I am using windows 7. I tried to find the solution via AVSIM forum but I can't fix this issue. Please advise me.

There is an external effect of a malware application, not FSUIPC itself, that mimics the assigned FSUIPC certificate for validation. FSUIPC updates are here: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/ that for now have eliminated this active security check. Older versions of FSUIPC will now fail to function since the certificate has been withdrawn and it is looked for each time FSUIPC activates.
