I tried getting support on the SuperATC forum and had to give up as no response was forthcoming. Thought that I woud see whether any one here could help. I installed SuperATC and find that it seems to understand what I say but nothing happens when I say anything that should cause it to issue commands to RC. Yet if I say anything that is only operable in IYP it quickly comes back to tell me that the particular command is only available in IYP. Has anyone else had the same experience and found an answer to what might be wrong?

Hi i'm wondering about buying radar contact but i've some question before buy it.1) Does radar contact show atc messages with text and voice as fsx atc? Is important for me because i'm not english native so only voice it wuold be a bit complicate.2) If i buy now i've some discount for next release ?3) Does radar contact control also AI traffic ?4) Is compatible with external wheather program like Active sky Evolution5) There's any problem if i have installed aerosoft airports ?Thank you i wish i could use this wonderful program

Hi, recently I came across interesting issue. It was in Paris few days ago. I got RWY assigned and while on approach - still about 20miles from RWY I got different winds, where it was natural that I would prefer new RWY assigment. RC was telling me the new rwy in use, however it could not assign it. I got messarge, can't comply due to traffic, use rwy xy - where xy is the old assigment. As a result i landed in crosswinds, which was not that bad, but still. Any ideas? From my point of view it was alright but you never know...

Hi, I have question related to AI Smooth 1.20 and RC4. I have noticed that once RC4 and AI Smooth is running, it is not controlling AI planes. It is monitoring them, however no action is done and sometimes I see the standard FSX effect... planes over planes and go arounds. When I fly with no RC4, AI Smooth is doing job just fine. Also I noticed that without RC4 it is mentioned on the AI Smooth bar that it is running thru FSUIPC and with RC4 it goes thru Wide FS 7.7a4. Does anyone has any idea how to set this thing up? AI Smooth is great but I believe that it is not working with RC4 or I am setting things wrongly. I RC4 i have interact with AI planes etc...Please help!EDI…

Like I said, whats it mean when the controller says "maintain flight level five zero"? If it don't mean 5000' then what does it mean?On arrival to Schipol, I was told to maintain five zero but once I reached it he kept nagging at me to get there. I checked the barometer and it was correct. I had to talk with the FSDO too.And why did he say it that way instead of "five thousand" like in the U.S.? I have to admit, this is the first European flight I have ever taken so I'm not used to the jargon I reckon.

Recently I have been given some really weird instructions for getting on an ILS approach. The worst is at Kahului (Hawaii). Within 25 milies and SW of the airport, I'm sent onto a heading of 270 degrees (this happened twice). Im cleared for a SW to NE RW but never seem to be able to get vectored in. Another try, from due south I am vectored north and cleared to descend to the glideslope. This flew me into a mountain.At Fairbanks (Alaska) I am vectored to the NE of the airport even though I'm cleared for ILS approach to RW 01. App. control releases me to acquire the glideslope at this point which is at the wrong side of the field. Am I setting something up incorrectly? V…

When I post in this forum, and this one only, my cursor disappears and it is really tough trying to edit or find the location of the next key stroke. Is that a problem with my keyboard or is there a forum setting that can be changed? What is really strange is that it only occurs with Replies. Is there a way to ask RC4.3 for the altimeter setting? I've noticed that many times when I get handed off the new controller does not give me the altimeter check until some time later. I'm assuming RC4 figures that if the new controller's altimeter is the same as the old why give it. However, there are situations where I need to ask for the altimeter to verify my setting. Last night I loaded a saved rcd flight (I'm on a 8-9 hour flight with a DC-4). Unfortunately, when I loaded the flight the altimeter the controller was using was much different than what the flight had saved. I didn't know that so I adjusted the altitude to get to my assigned and got yelled at. Ev…

After my encounter with that controller in Hawaii it was a real treat to fly in the north today.Flight from Mont Joli to Moncton was flawless. Of course we had to use the telephone for clearance and departure and that was something I had forgotten about since leaving active flying.Letdown and approach vectors into Moncton were also a treat. Anyone looking for a nice flight (about 200 miles) couldn't go wrong with this one and if you use IYP its even better...you can loaf 95% of the flight :)

Hi there,I had RC4.3 up and running on a client (Windows 7) PC but had to make some changes on the server (also Windows 7) and re-register both FSUIPC 4 and Wide FS.FSUIPC is running and connecting to client fine again but when I try to run RC4 I get the message "component 'mscomctl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."I have searched for this file on the computer and it is there on C:\Windows\System32 but is a locked file. I don't know whether this file is a Windows 7 file or purely related to RC4.Is there anything I can do to fix this or should I re-install RC4 (or worse Windows 7)?Regards,Ken

I running RC4 with FSX, Fsuipc 4.60 and Win7 x64. I keep getting the same fault about 20mins into flight. "(fsuipc_wait Can't get D008 to change from 9096589, always 9096589)".RC4 with FS9 works smoothly. Thanks for help in advance. I also run the RC4.exe as administrator and in XP sp2 mode.Bill M

When using RC 4.3 for FS9 I encountered a situation where RC tells me to line up on the runway and wait. Problem was there was still a plane on the runway ready to takeoff. That plane stayed there and didn't takeoff.Other planes came down for landing and seemed to go around. So it seems RC has missed that plane on the runway.I advanced the time one minute by using the set time menue. After that the plane on the runway was gone.I this the best thing to do when such a glitch appear? Or will it create other problems?

My ASE weather program is slowing down RC4...especially so on final. I often get my clearance to land while rolling on the runway.This is an ASE problem, but it has been suggest that I run RC4 on a dedicated CPU core. That, I'm told, would solve my RC4 slow-down problem.Does the recommendation sound feasible?If so, any guidance on how I do this is appreciated?zach

In RC 4.3 for FS9 I encountered a problem when departing from DTTA at a selected rwy 11. First the angle given by RC appear to be of by 180 deg (334 deg according to RC). Second the distance info given by RC didn't change and nothing happened more from RC. RC throwed this error message 'fsuipc-wait can't get D0008 to change from 3645852 always 3645852' . I use the Tunis 2008 africasim V 1.4 addon scenery for DTTA.

Just went to re install RC4 and realised I no longer have the files.. They were on my laptop and i lost them when bit defender screwed up their damn anti virus and was forced to re install..I just mailed support but with my registration details gone too I don't think I am going to get any help.Might just wait for the new one and buy it again..

Suppose, in v5, that the user vacates his landing runway via a certain taxiway. I know that at certain airports, the taxiway network is not so extensive that all taxiways lead to the "main taxiways". So, let's suppose the taxiway he chooses only leads to some godforsaken military ramp in the middle of nowhere. So, will ground be smart enough to tell the user to back-taxi on the arrival runway and take a taxiway that does lead to the parking spot you had determined, via the gate assignment logic, to be the best, or do you give a new stand? Or, will tower tell something like "turn left on papa contact ground 121.8", so we don't have to guess which turnoff to take?

If you run FDC Live with Radar Contact 4, here are a few settings that may help reduce the chances of recieveing the "fsuipc-wait can't get D0008" error messages. I believe the less information sent from FDC Live, the lower your chances of recieving this error. These options are under "Misc Items". Im using version 3.14.0.
