I've been getting runtime errors during my flights, usually about 15 minutes into the flight, sometimes earlier. I'm using fs2004 and active sky and the latest RC on Windows 7 64 bit. All are run in admin mode. Any suggestions about how to trouble shoot this would be most welcome.

Using Radar Contact 4.3 I get an error of "IPC timed out all retries". Anyone know what this means and how do I fix the problem.

Hi,i have some problems with RadarContact ATC.After takeoff i receive some instructions from ATC that send me offcourse of my loaded flighplan.All ok with altimeter, but after few minutes it seems that ATC fail to send me heading instructions, so i fly out of assigned ATC route. I receive a messages saying that i fail to accomplish with ATC heading instructions (but i don't receive them). After a while ATC send me back on course (2 or 3 fixes) and then redirect me toward my route. Hi,I don't own Radar Contact yet, I was thinking about buying, but I'm a little confused about how to get a flight plan into the program, I'm sure I've asked this in some form or another before, but anyway...So if I have a bunch of low altitude enroute charts for the US and I want to make my own flight plan, is there a way to plug it into the program, from what I remember it seems that I need some type of third party program which I'd rather not use. Is there a way to get around this? Also, if not, is the ability to enter your own flight plan into the program a reasonable request for RC? It seems to me that, that would be a good idea, especially for those of us GA flye…

I installed the RC into my FSX Having the copilot flying for me and arriving at a major airport ATC does not lower me to the airport .It does not pick up the ILS .Am i kissing something on the setup of the flight ?This happens on all the flights i have mad so far .

Would it be possible in the v5/v6 timeframe for you guys to record a set of atis wavs with a speech synthesizer and have the bigger airports use them (you could work out a set of criteria for this). I mean something like this . Would add a lot of flair to things.

I am trying to re-install RCV4 on a new disk. I have obtained a new registration code but when I try to apply it after entering it I get: Runtime error 75. RadarContact.rcv4module.write_keyboard.It works perfectly on the original system.Help please.

Example landing and departing rwy 26L but rc will have me contact approach and issue me a different runway, once i got the opposite of where all the ai were landing, so i was going head on with all these planes. WHat is going on??

I tryed to install MSSTDFMT .DLL and for the lack od PC skills i could not install it .Where can i go to paty some one to install it for me ?Im really in a bind here.Thanks

I confess I thought for a while that the radio silence might have been another fault or operator error (bleedin' 'tard...) but while making a log yesterday found a lot of empty folders parallel with the 'noisy' UK & USA.Cheers,D

Hey guys lately my flight plans have been really odd, i launch rc 4 with my plan and see only my arrival airport on the first row of the rc window. I could swaer remembering this showed fix to fix. The only way i can remedy this, is by asking for a direct chpoint. However i can only do this on departure control after i should of been at my first waypoint, therefore its a mess. This is without an SID filed. with no departure procedures, the worst part is rc is still giving me heading instructions which is way off based on my fmc (same ) plan.

I just installed 4.3 on windows 7 x64 and i'm trying to open RC to register it and i'm getting a run time error 53. I tried doing a search but found nothing.

Not sure if this really is an RC4 or FSX error. I noticed this error just started displaying upon installing RC43 with the latest version of makerrwys.exe. I searched the RC forum and did not see this previosuly mentioned/posted.Anyone have any ideas what may be causing it and how to resolve?Regards,Bob L

Hi, while flying from LIRF to KJFK after Shanwick flying toward DINIM i receive ant ATC message that force me to fly back toward RATKA and for about 1 hour I didn't receive further messages from ATC.The same thing happened yesterday when I was flying toward KJFK airport on a different NAT and the ATC send me back again when i was expecting the GS for the localizer.That was the route loaded either in FMC of PMDG 747-400 and in radar contact:LIRF SID GILIO UM729 ELB UM616 LERGA UT183 DEGEX UN490 BERAD UN512 LARLA UN521 RATKA DCT DINIM NATG CYMON N144B EBONY J573 ENE STAR KJFKThanks in advance,Maurizio Balvetti

I fly a route as many times as it takes to get it just right. So far, the Seattle to Vancouver flight has been flown four times. I have used the Pilatus P12 twice and the Beechcraft Duke twice. Flights are IFR using VOR to VOR with planned flight level of 6,000 feet (twice) and 9,000 feet (twice). Here is what happened: two flights went reasonably well although I never could get clearance to the flight plan altitude. Both times I was flying a heading of 005 to intercept the ILS for Runway 26. At 30 miles out control vectored me 280 degrees. then turned me NNE on a heading directly for the airport. At 10 miles I was cleared to the glideslope for rwy 26. No way could it be…

I just bought RC yesterday and managed first tutorial flight today. Just one conclusion: this default aircrafts are crap :). did it with FSX 737 and it's useless. AP won't hold speed properly, won't slow down properly, and is just useless, stalled during approach, flap handle in 30 while it's really in 15, only VS altitude change. I just got spoiled by JS41 from pmdg, can't fly defaults anymore :).As for RC itself it's great, thanks. I'll try rest of tutorial flights with something else, not default 737.Greg

Hi After Just getting RC to work in Windows 7 down to my lack of knowledge or as I thought my problem now is when I come to save a flight, or more to the point when I want to restart my flight. When I click on the previously saved flights I get the box Documents libary, Flight Simulator X Files ( Were I Found them in Windows XP FS9) but no sign of any of my saved flights. I would be very gratefull if anybody could help me with this David

I was on final last night at this certain airport and was way off from the runway. Tower cleared me to land but there was no runway there to land on. It was like 5 miles to my right. When I did get cloes to the airport RC did tell me to go around. Why would RC tell me clear to land and im no where near the runway?

HiExcellent piece of software this! very pleased and look forward to buying future versions.But the last couple of times I have tried to use RC when I select the flight plan I have saved it has started moving my aircraft from the gate stated in the FP to a random point somewhere on the airfield, I am guessing the GPS coordinates of an airport as it seems to be in the middle of a runway. It also places me about 15ft below the ground level, I have tried rebuilding the scenery database to no avail, so I am now going to try uninstall and reinstall of RC.I was wondering if this was a known issue and if anything is likely to have caused a problem. I run RC 4.3 over a network and I have encountered problems in displaying the advdisp window. I tried a flight with PMDG 747-400 in FS9. I have setup FSUIPC to hide/display the advdisp window with key 'm'. When I start RC the display window is displayed as normal. I can hide it by pressing 'm' as expected. But the problem I encounter is that sometimes it's not possible to bring back the window again by pressing 'm'. What could this be? If I quit RC and restart I will get the advdisp window back.

Hi,Recently I decided to revert Hong Kong back to the 90s, so I permanently disabled AI traffic at VHHH and erased the airport AFCAD.Now I would like to transfer the "Hong Kong" callsign from VHHH to VHHX, so that when I request clearance to Kai Tak my pilot does not say "...to Victor Hotel Hotel X-Ray Airport" but "...to Hong kong Airport"Can you tell me how to do this?Thank You very much!
