Is there any way to take a SID or a STAR out of the flight plan thru RC? I am began to see ATC is giving alot of direct to. Like tonight I tracked a flight from MOB to IAH. Which I fly alot. SJI is within the 30 mile radius. ATC did not require to hit the SJI before going to SNYDE. The sent them direct to SNYDE. I have the SJI in my flt plan but would like to take it out when im taking off from North to South. Taking off from South to North I can hit SJI since its 6.3 miles away.

HiI downloaded the dll from ascentive put it in my system32 file run the CMD as adminand it found it ( dlluregisterserverin msstfmt.dll )I load fsx at the gate load the flt planthen load up rc go to load the flt plan in to rc and I still get the same error and rc closesalso a problem that I have noticed is if I prees start rc the button doe not do anythingos vista fsuipc 4.60 running rc as adminany help please Alf

RegSvr32 error message "The module 'msstdfmt.dll' failed to load.That dll file is not in c:\windows\sysWOW64 but is in system32. The system will not allow me to copy that dll from system32 to sysWOW64.If I try to register msstdfmt.dll from c:\windows32 it tell me the module is compatible.Can anyone offer any help?Thanks

Sometimes FSX will crash and restart. I have FSUIPC saving flights at intervals, including saving under the name Previous Flight. I can reload the file named Previous Flight but do not see a way to reload RC and be in sync. My first question is whether there is a way to stop FSX from reloading itself back at the origination airfield. The second is how I can get RC back in sync with FSX after I have loaded from the Previous Flight file? Any help would be much appreciated as it is very frustrating to lose the entire flight after hours of flying.

Okay, fresh install of everything FSX related, I just got my key about 1 hour after emailing the request, I've installed, and uninstalled several times in the past mainly for general cleanup, and housekeeping. Hello gents, I recentlly started using RC4 again and there are a couple things I'm hoping there is a way to tweak or something I just missed. Sorry if this has been posted but having a hard time trying to think of the right words in an advanced search on the matter...1.) I am not a real world pilot and love how realistic RC is. Hi all, hope u can help i just using radar contact again and now come accross this problem. Before everything had worked fine now untill now, the problem after launching fsx and radar contact and when entering the sim i get the radar contact box appearing on the screen with options to choose from but i dont get the numbers next to it to select which option to choose. Eg there are no numbers like 1 0r 2 etc and 0 for main thx

Anybody out there who is successfully using RC4 with UT2 and ASE? 1. UT2 has a default range for injecting AI of 25 NM (I think, somewhere around that number). I believe RC4 needs to check traffic like 100 NM (again, somewhere around that number, I'm not at home... or 40NM, I'm not sure anymore) before landing. UT2 is quite hard on FPS so changing it form 25 to 100 doesn't sound promising for performance. Anybody successfully solved this problem?2. ASE needs DWC for a couple of functions to work: visibility graduation and smoothing, prevent cloud redraws. With DWC on RC4 doesn't work properly. In FSX i'm running LD767. Often I will save a flight to return to it later. How do I return to the saved flight and pickup RC in sync at the same position in the flight? I tried reloading RC with the flight detail but RC picks up as if i'm still at the departure airport awaiting pushback.

Hi,lately I bought widefs so that I can run rc on a second pc. I think i followed the instructions to the letter but somehting is not right because when I run radar contact on my second machine I get this error:"Maybe running on wideclient, but fs not running on server, or wrong FSUIPC".Any help appreciated,Vic Nucera

FS9 default ATC allows you to1. Cancel IFR2. Accept a frequency change, tune the frequency...and not contact that ATC.Either of these results in the ability to fly a very long flight, in autopilot, without having to constantly talk to ATC. I do have a life, and a job, LOL!If I do #1 I have to request a new IFR when I'm back "in control",if I do #2 I simply have to contact whatever FS9 ATC area I'm in, when back at the computer, and the flight resumes without requesting a new IFR clearance (after all the ATC "catch up messages").How, if at all, does Radar Contact handle this? Is there a way to stop talking to RC ATC...and resume later in the flight?

I have just completed a flight from EGLL to LTAI and as usual on approach the ASE destination winds reported were different from those reported by RC4. I am aware that the global mode of ASE does not work with RC4 so that is turned off and I'm using FSUIPC for wind smoothing.I have always blamed ASE for this problem, but today I looked into the weather differences in detail during my approach. I have the CLS A340-300 as my default plane and had everything working well under Win 7 32 bit. (Otto has comms and plane).Now I am trying to set up everything as before on Win7 64 bit.Everything loads properly but Otto only handles comms and although the reply comes to say Otto has the plane, nothing happens and the plane goes on its own merry way.As I say, it worked before but not now. FSUIPC is up to date.Any suggestions (not rude ones!)

I cannot start a flight from DAAE Bejaia, Algeria. After positioning the aircraft there, when I load the Flight Plan, RC whisks the aircraft off to a point in the middle of the sea - 0 degrees N and 0 degrees E I think.I'm thinking this is because DAAE doesn't appear in a4.csv and r4.csv. As these are (I think) regenerated when Make Runways is run, I can't understand why there is no entry there? I have the next problem at the initial configuration.When using the button Rebuild scenery DB, acknowledging that I am working on a WideFS configuration (Fs9 is on PC1, RC is on PC4) and after using MakeRunways (r5.csv is in the main FS9 folder), I am asked to type the network path to the main Fs9 folder. But how I try, RC does not recognise this path. I bought RC two months ago and haven't really been able to do all that many flights, but out of the 15 or so that I have done, RC has been a miss 80% of the time when it comes to intercepting the ILS.I just flew a flight from Cairo Intl (HECA) to Antalya (LTAI) and the flight plan is as follows:"LECA to LTAI@28000 (Alt1 - Al2-) / CVO.BLT17.BLT.MILAD.RASDA.EVORA.KOSEG.MAROS.DASNI.TOMBI. *RVSM"RC had me intercept the localizer at FL140 (which seemed pretty high.) I did intercept the localizer, but when I did, I was almost right above the runway at FL140! What happened here? I am using Antalya X scenery add-on and I've done everything to update MakeRunway, etc. as per sticky…

Is v4.12 the latest version of Make Runways?I haven't sat and watched it compile before but it appears to compile by scanning each scenery layer in the scenery.cfg, starting at [Area.001] and finishing at [Area.999].The problem is that I have 1147 scenery layers, and (for instance) all my South American add-on sceneries are in layers above 1000.Won't this potentially cause problems with Radar Contact?John

Hello,I had simply paused FSX in mid-air today while I ate lunch. I had done the exact same thing during yesterday's flight, again for lunch and RC4 resumed the flight like nothing had happened. But today, RC4 initially started continuing its instructions for me to climb to FL340 (the flight was paused while still in the climb stage, at FL290, with final cruise altitude at FL340.)I had saved the flight as I went, so I had a saved copy of the moment I had paused it before going to eat. I posted a few weeks ago that when I approached the runway, AI traffic in front of me stopped taking off and just blocked up the taxiway.After a few weeks of observation I have concluded that this problem occurs after I switch Radar Contact to the tower frequency.I have observed this at all the airports I have tested. I proved this occurred by taxing to the runway and moving to one side so that AI traffic could pass by and then not switching to tower when advised. AI traffic continued to line up and take-off. As soon as I switched to tower frequency - the next AI aircraft in line, if lined up did not take off or if waiting to line up, did not lijne up.Any comments?Reg…

I am getting really slow responses to number key presses when using RCv4. For example when I miss a waypoint and have to request direct to next checkpoint I press the "next" button to get to the page for requesting direct to waypoint. On pressing the "next" button it takes so long for RCv4 to respond and move on to the next page that I have the ATC yelling at me again. It can take between about 5-10 seconds to move the page on. This happens on other pages too.I have been having this issue for ages but have only just got round to trying to sort it out.I am running Active Sky v6.5 I think it's only the newer version of AS that can cause problems with RCv4.Andy Solaini

I'm running RC4.3 and FSX on W7 Home Premium 64-bit.I installed RC4 yesterday, and ran it just fine for one flight.Then I went to run it again today, and the RC window does not display in FSX.
