I don't know, why I am keep getting Run Time Error 76 , during taxi and takeoff. I have to start all over to activated RC4.It is really not fun. What can I do to avoid this error.I have window7 64.Thanks

Hi guys,Ive been using RC on and off for a couple of years. Ive just reinstalled FSX and RC, Works perfectly. Upon looking at some other addons I came across REX2. Now I installed this and it works fine.. however it seems to clash with RC. Upon loading my flight plan into RC, clicking start and switching back to fsx the RC display does not come up and the plane "bounces". Very odd behaviour. Ive tried everything from reinstalling fsuipc to deleting the fsx.cfg and letting it rebuild from scratch. The only thing that solves the problem is uninstalling REX2. The RC display then comes back up and everything works perfectly. Im obviously guessing REX2 alters some files or so…

Hi all i got fs passengers and found out that when using radar contact iam unable to input any commands from fs pasengers eg like when entering the qnh u press b than 1013 but unable since by pressing the numbers radar contact has the inputs for these commands.So was wondering anyone who has fs passengers have u found a way round this problem that i have encountered

Hi.How little attention I pay. It's astonishing that I'm still alive to post...I finally noticed today that when parked at Gate 6, on contacting ground for permission to taxi I am still, "... with you at the ramp". Is that because I'm using addon airports or just that there's only one, standard, wav for that part of the conversation? I understand that ground ops will get a revamp in RC5 so will a "... at gate X" be recorded for the new version?Cheers,Dave

Hi there,Today I am getting error run time 62 error getting departure information, after I update the R4.csv to include data for RKSI, as it was showing all 0 and I could not contact tower or dep.What am I doing wrong.Please adv the list of column, I looked at other stations and it seems as follows:ATIS, Clearance, Ground, Tower, 0 , 0 Approach . is this correct.I am on wide FS and I tried to rebuild the DB after running RNWS maker with no luck. If it is possible to code please make the descent clearence just before approach not 12000 feet if I am flying to opposite side of the runway. That's not SO realistic. 2. Can you make something about the radio comms when approach takes over? I was approaching my destination airport from the north to land on RWY 24 at an airport with a control tower. RC4 ATC vectored me to proceed downwind on a course of 60 deg. My question relates to how long and how far they kept me on the downwind leg. It seemed, for a single-engine a/c, it was quite a long distance. I would say it was at least 15-20 miles from the end of the RWY before the Controller turned me on to the base leg. There wasn't that much AI traffic in the area. Nothing out of the ordinary. I posted this awhile ago but it never got addressed.I love RC4 and I love Vatsim, so I and many others use RC4 with Vatsim, its great, because alot of the time when I fly or where I fly to has no ATC coverage. But I still like doing my flights online, seeing other people etc etc, anyways I run fsinn and RC4 on a client PC, both come through my headset, all I want in RC5 is the option to Mute Radar Contact, sometimes on departure a tower or ground might come on then of course you have to follow there instructions, its kinda hard to do when you have 2 controllers going at the same time, in most cases I have to shut down RC4. I'm using RC4 exclusively for quite some time (means: I like it very much) but there is one thing I never really understood:What is the functional difference between RC's pilot and co-pilot (aka Otto)?The way I see it, the guy sitting in front of the PC is the pilot. The "RC person" with him in the cockpit for all practical purposes acts as co-pilot handling the comms with ATC (unless he is flying the plane).1. In default configuration he will talk to ATC upon my (the pilot's) instruction: I hit key 1 or say "contact next controller" (I am using IYP) and he will ack the hand-off, change frequencies and contact the next controller. Windows 7 - Running as administrator - not installed in program files - no FS mods activeWhat would happen (regardless what you put in the registration box, cut-paste or a manual input) is RC freezing, then closing. No errors, nothing to indicate a problem other than RC not there anymore. Checked the process box in task manager and it simply closes, no memory leak or hung process.Any suggestions on what could be the cause? Also, I hope I can get my money back if somehow RC just wont work.Tim

Hi there,I've been a longtime (and happy) user of RCv4 in FS9, but I've only recently started using FSX. One issue is that I can't seem to hide the display window in FSX. I have FSUIPC (unreg) set up correctly and I've tried several different key combos in RC (restarting FSX etc..), but to no avail. I can close the display window, but then it pops up anytime there's a communication. Also the key combo does work to show the display window if closed, but it never hides it. Hi everyone,I've been thinking about purchasing RC4 for quite a while but a few things worry me about handing over my hard earned cash.Although I like my simming to be fairly real, I am a big user of the default pink line to get me to the gate. I have read in here that RC4 does not have this feature and I will need to look at airport charts to get where I'm supposed to be. But then I read that RC5 will have this feature. So on this part my questions are :-1, are there any workarounds to get the pink line to the gate ?2, if not, where can I get accurate airport charts for free ?3, should I wait for RC5 or is it already out ?My second worry is that with the default ATC, a s…

Hi guys,I was getting the dreaded error code 76 after a period of unuse with FS2004 which confused me.Basically, I know I have to define the .flt.wx path but where do I define it to in a default FS2004 setup? where are my .flt/.wx files?Secondly, I have payware scenery for Amsterdam Schiphol, the ATC controller on RCv4 gave me approach directions for 36C, once I got below 10000ft I noticed he directed me to runway 9, there isn't a runway 9 that i'm aware of and it didn't have an ILS frequency. Requesting another runway was denied due to traffic. Is this due to my problem above?Thanks,Luke.

I can't find an answer in the manual, (if it is there, I apologise).What governs the handover from the VP ("My plane") on approach to airports?I always land big planes on ILS: sometimes I get down to around 500' before the handover and therefore land using ILS.On other occasionsI can be on the last vector before the ILS ought to kick in (somewhere around 20 nm out ) when the handover takes place and then I have to fly manually to intercept the ILS.

Does RC reconize closed runways?? I have 15L 8R closed in AFCAD for takeoff and departuer. But they gave me 15L for landing. I did run Makrwy.

Just installed RC and have a couple of questions I would appreciate guidance on.1. Can either the size of and the colour of the fonts in RC`s cockpit screen be changed. I have Red on Black which for an ancient like me is a little difficult to read - as is the size of the letters.2. Hello..Was flying to KAI TAK... At 38 NM before the airport at FL 360... Still no instructions was given..See my options, about I was doing something wrong in my Controller info ?Tried to upload the options, but coludn´t...Under OPtions, NO Arrival name display ( had to VHHX)... No MHZ are marked with checks.. And no frequenzies are written.. Is that the problem ??? Chris from Denmark

Hello, I have been using RC4.3 for all of my FS simming, and I am loving it. However I have a quick question. What are the factors that decide which runways are in use and which are not for RC ? is it weather ? I am also using ActiveSky as weather simulation addon and MyTraffic as a traffic addon (if that has anything to do with it) My slight problem is, I was taking off of KJFK and seeing how the airport traffic is so huge, it was hard to believe that only single runway (04L) was used for Departing and Arriving flights. The weather was nice and winds pretty calm, with only 40% traffic saturation, I am stuck taxiing in mega line for good 45 minutes before I get to take of…

Hi, I realized lately that RC (v4.3) AI traffic chatter is only a fraction of the chatter in FS ATC. I did a test by using RC along with the FS9 ATC and at times RC repeats what has been said by the FS ATC, but many times it doesn't.Is there anything I should check? All the AI options are selected in RC settings and of course the com frequencies are correct, otherwise I should never hear the RC chatter.Thanks,James

HelloI recently purchased RC for FSX and has just started playing around with WoAI. Am I right, that RC should interact with WoAI aircraft? Started up at EGSS with the Ryanair package installed, tuned the TWR freq and watched a few aircraft depart. Not a sound from RC. Anything special I need to do?EKJK
