Hello;I am getting a runtime error 75 a few minutes after I start a flight. I am running XP anf FS9. It happenes right after I pushback. I read the sticky on this but dont understand how to configure Norton. Any help would be appreaciated. Bill

I've had RC for about a year now and it has always worked perfectly. Recently I had to reinstall FSX and now RC tells me to fly heading such-and-such; however, I will already be flying that heading. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice now but the problem continues. It keeps doing it for the entire flight which is beyond annoying if you can imagine. I've looked through the manual and cannot find a solution to this problem. Can anyone help me to track this down? Thanks

I know, there are a lot of messages asking some improvements for V.5 but I can't read all, so, I go with my own remarks : - a choice of pre-recorded chatter with the possibility of changing (always the same jokes, in France always the same pilot astonished to meet the same sailplane on his route, please.....!) - when you receive a pilot discretion descent, with 2 minutes later an altitude restriction 12000' lower within 30 Nm : it's not very realistic - when you try of following a real STAR, or SID, with speed and altitude restrictions, it's very strange to hear the ATC asking you something completely different, and impatientant itself if you stay 15" at an intermediate …

One simple question, does RC4 work with xwind runways? THX

I'm running RC version 4.3.3845 with FSX. Have not had any issues until now: I've somehow lost the pilot and copilot voices. Controller and Chatter pilots work fine. When I go to Voices none of them work when I click on each name. Likewise for copilot; but Controller and Chatter are fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi When flying the 'big tins' I find version 4.3 does the job very well, however flying VFR in Europe, its not quite so good. Can anyone tell me if this is being improved in version 5 - will we have proper ATC control when flying say cross country or even just flying circuits. Thanks Glen

I can't find an answer to this. I suddenly keep getting "Runtime error 62", with the message "RadarContact.rc4module get_departure_information". It happened in-flight yesterday after about 30 minutes, so I re-installed the latest FSUIPC and makerwys, ran update from RC4. This morning RC4 wouldn't start and gave the same message again. Some corruption, somewhere? Ian

I've been using X-Plane quite alot recently, but am waiting patiently for v5. Something that the team should address is your descent profile. It would be lovely if you didn't get the same 11k/12k crossing restrictions every time. Since you asked for suggestions, mine is to make the descent profile a little less predictable, for example based on the amount of AI. I am new to Radar Contact but I love it already after only one test flight with a default 737 and then one IFR flight with the IFly 737. Everything works like a charm but I installed it to the default folder suggested by the installer: Program Files (x86). I read in another post that it is best to change to another location due to Win 7 limitations?I have set the exe to run as admin every time and execluded the RC4 folder in the antivirus. No problems so far.

hello all..I'm AFCAD2 editing illiterate and was wondering..how hard is it to just go into any AFCAD and ensure that multiple runways are in use? I want to keep the realistic parking of some AFCADs that i've d/l but they dont utilize the multiple runways..which is so cool with RC4!Thanks!

Is there any way to request another IAP approach if you missed the first one or were told to go around? I can only see the request vectors and request visual, and when I chose visual RC insisted on vectoring me anyways.

i start radar contact open a flight plan start fsx pmdg J41 the radar contact box opens i tune my nav freq to the freq and then in the quick start guid tells me to contact wether report by pressing 2 nd nothing happens.

have just installed rd4 tried to install an existing flightplan compiled on fsc9 a white page comes up titled runtime error 713 MSSTDFMT.DLL NOT INSTALLED have tried microsoft no joy what doesit do and is it really required MY O/S is widows 7 64bit regards frank cann

I have a very large number of flight plans created with FSNavigator which I would like to use for Radar Contact.The only way I understand exists is to start FS9, start FSNav, load each plan and then export each one individually so as to make it usable in RC.Considering the extended and cumbersome way of repeating such process so many times I am wondering if there is a better way which I am not familiar with nor have found in the forums and sites I have searched through.Any help on this will be much appreciated.Clarindo

Hey, guys,I was doing a routine flight from Philly to Bradley, and as soon as I got taxi instructions to RW 26, I was asked to monitor tower. This confused me, as I hadn't even started leaving the ramp yet, and I was actually a little miffed because I wanted to request a longer runway, which you can only do while you're with ground. As soon as I contacted tower, I yelled at for being on the runway. I was clearly still on the apron.However, I was definitely on the line of path of 26. If you look at a map, you'll see that 26 is actually directly to the east of the terminals. I'm not sure how much real-life use this very short runway gets, as it's not very easily accessible …

Hai radar contact fansI had a problem with the fact that RC calls KLM Cityhopper >>> city of ireland. I changed the atc name in cfg file from woai. (Also checkt Fsuipc settingd ) And the labels in Fs9 now show KLM instead of city with the hoppers, so that is great.... Hi allI have the CD version of RC4. I've recently upgraded to Windows 7 and have tried to reinstall it (it worked fine on XP). When I try to extract the contents of the CD, it refuses to copy the RCV43-0.bin file and gives me a 0x80004005 error. The exe file and the other bin file copy across fine. Can anyone help as this is very frustrating :-( Darren

Hi all,I have just tried a flight from Gatwick to Ibiza in an Airbus A320. Upon getting to around 120NM from Ibiza, I was given a heading opposite to the direction of Ibiza which sent me back over the Spanish mainland. I speeded up the simulation to see if they would give me some new headings but they don't, just left on a infinite heading going away from Ibiza. I have noted this with Frankfurt airport too. Both use custom sceneries.Any help please?

Hi, I've just uninstalled FSX and am getting ready to reinstall it. I left RC installed, when I reinstall FSX I'm going to install it in a seperate directory on my hard drive (not Program Files (x86)). Will I be able to point it to the new directory either automatically or manually, or will I have to reinstall it? Ed Kammerman

Hi! I just installed RC 4 (on Windows 7 64-bit) to go along with FSX. I also installed the latest FSUIPC version (4.7.0.3). The problem is that RC isn't responding in FSX when I am ready to use it. The RC dialogue box is there, but the text is red and when I push the buttons (1 or 2) to get weather or contact departure, nothing happens. Here's how I am doing things: First, I start FSX, then I minimize the program and go out and start RC. I load up a flightplan (KBOS to Portland Maine), set everything up, and start RC. Hello, I've been doing some flights with iFly's 737NG for fsx, and RC stops working when in the air. It happened once during climb and once during cruise. The 2nd time it happened, it started freezing the game every 10 seconds or so when I tried to kill the process. It pretty much ruined both flights. Both flights were very different locations. It doesn't freeze when giving a command, just at random times it seems.Thank you
