Hello, Path to fs9 C:/Program Files (86)/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9 This is the path I type into the rcv4.3 box when I hit rebuild scenery database. Something is wrong because it finishes way to quick. Instantly it runs through makerrwys and bulding ac4.asv. It cant be done that quick. I remember years ago it went through tons of files and took like 5 minutes. And traffic is on short final that does not exist at KBUR add on airport so it must not be doing anything. Probably another case of pilot error, would not be the first time. any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Everyone, I just bought Radar Contact and did send (manually) the activation code request email. Just one question, is this an automated or a manual system ? Am I supposed to receive a reply quickly? I just can't wait using it... :-) Thanks a lot. Fabrice

Could this be the issue, should I uninstall rc4 and then re install? If i do that will i need to get another activation email? Also I have both rcv4 and rcv4.3 for fs9 installed because i installed my old cd and then emailed you on how to get it going and you sent me a link to rcv4.3 and I installed it thinking it would overwrite but now i see both in my progs folder. Should I uninstall rcv4, might this be the problem?Thanks Marc

For a long time I have been using RC4 v 4.0.3675 with a registered FSUIPC v 3.129. Recently it would not start informing "fsuipc_wait, cant get FFC to change from 0 always 0". After many attempts I reinstalled RC4 which comes with FSUIPC v 3.50 and it now starts with the menu showing instead of letters a mixture of square and a few letters (some readable like FIX01). Where have I fouled up the installation of this excellent and, to me, indispensable program? By the way, the new RC4 version is an upgrade to the version I have or is it a new buy? JD, I recently aquired the Opencockpits MCP and it works flawlessly with the PMDG 737.However, when I start RC4, the heading increase rotary (ctrl-shft-H, which as far as I can see is not used in RC)) stops working.Decrease is still possible.I disabled all keyboard commands in RC except the number keys and the repeat last instruction key.Could you please assist ? regards Martin

I reinstalled RC,but command selection bar didnot appeared. Maybe title is not correct. Numbers for selecting ATC comminications. During the flights this mini bar shows next check points. Thanks

I am running FSX on my new computer. How can I download R.C. as I already paid for it before please?

I am unable to run RC 4.3 from the CD. The unzip file rcv43-07-08-01.zip gives two error messages. 1 - CRC failed in rcv43-0.-bin. File is broken. 2 - Data error in rcv43-1.bin. File is broken. I have tried to unzip the file both on a Windows 7 computer and also on a Windows XP computer and I get the same error messages. I would request that I be given instructions as to how to sucessfully unzip the file, or other instructions as to how to be sent another CD. Thanks,BobRogers, Arkansas

Everything seems to run fine until I try to obtain either a wx report or clearance and then I get the following Runtime 75 errorRadar Contact.fsuipc.rcv4 code Not sure if the code is missing or corrupted. Anyone have any ideas how to correct this error?

Gents - I was showing my FS9 set up to a pal yesterday and showed him the normal stuff I do before flight.For me this includes: - deciding dep and arrival airports- firing up Active Sky- looking at wx for both fields- guesstimate of depature and arrival runways- building route in FS Build and exporting it- loading route into Active Sky- running topcat- firing up RC and selecting route options, voices etc- firing up FS9-once set up at the gate with external power set and the FS2Crew #2 doing his thing, I fire up RC within the sim. In flight I hit 0 for Main. I get a "Taxi to runway xx and hold short. Tower on nnnn. Delta xxxx." This doesn't happen all the time, however. But it does happen when Otto is flying and has the comms.

Page 134 of the RC manual says "you will need to apply for a new key to run RC on the second machine." Is there a charge for a second key?

I just spend 24 hours to make the new PMDG 737 work. It turned out that the "runway.csv" file, which is made when you run the "Makerunways.exe", is causing a CTD when you try to load the PMDG 737. As soon as you turn it off in fsx root there is no problem.It looks like RC4 works without this file ? Will it cause any problems in RC if I delete this file.? Regards

I was messing around today and found a neat little utility inside the the rc4 folder (rc wav utility) so I ended up doing an entire controller voice set, but its not very good, its slow and sounds really weird compared to the meatwater pack. I had an idea, this is how I use RC4, I like using SIDS and STARS now my first way point is usually the transition of a SID, no problem there, and my last waypoint is the beginning of a STAR thats the last waypoint rc4 see's and some of them are still very far away the the airport, so Im still on a center freq, now following the STAR in my fmc can lead to rc4 ######in to me that Im off course, so in the settings I changed the Headi…

Hello;I am getting a runtime error 75 a few minutes after I start a flight. I am running XP anf FS9. It happenes right after I pushback. I read the sticky on this but dont understand how to configure Norton. Any help would be appreaciated. Bill

ATC voice is very noisy for my environment.Even if it play by config screen(for call sign test) also.I use with below env.Windows 7 64bitSound blaster(I tried other sound card, but the result is same)I tried direct to play a wave file and it is OK.

I have been using RC4 now for years and have noticed that in my London City X and Maderia, RC does not see them on my departureor arrival list. I am almost positive it worked before, or maybe it was on fs9. I only use FSX now and have updated all my paywareairports and aircraft. I purchased RC4 over about a 1 1/2 weeks ago. I have tried to get it to run in either FS9 or FSX and I get the same thing. RC4 seems to work fine and connects to the appropriate version of FS. I start using it and I press the number for ATIS that works fine, then RC4 is showing Not Responding in Task Manager. and I get no response from any number entered on either the keyboard or number pad. This is getting annoying...It RARELY Happens but when it does it drives me nuts because it takes any realism out of the flight completely. It has happened once when I was approaching ATL from Seattle and now it has happened again approaching LAX from SFO....ATC will say "because of traffic saturation" I will have to be placed in a hold and since Otto had the controls in both situations I had no choice but to go with Delay Vectors...HOWEVER the only vectors they give are a complete 180 degree turn and it seems that they will fly me all the way back to my airport of origin, in this case SFO with an occasional altimeter check from ATC.
