Hi guys. I have a little problem. You see, everytime I try to start Radar Contact, I get a message like this: Cannot link to FSUIPC or Wideclient. Now, I have downloaded FSUIPC but I dont know if I installed it right or even if I installed it all. Is there something Im doing wrong? Can someone help me on this issue. I recieved my copy of RCV3 weeks ago but havent been able to use it since.Thanks

Hello all!Can anyone assist me in speeding the speech up in RCv3?I read the sticky by Ray towards the top of the page as I am running XP but it doesn't seem to work correctly. I think that I am doing something wrong in the process.my RCv3 target folder is here "C:Program Filesrcv30rcv3.exe"but when I try and change anything, all it does is turm my shortcut into a DOS prompt.Any assistance would be highly appreciated.Cheers!Simpilot

Hi guys...First, finally I can use my RC3, I'm very happy with it!When testing some stuff I always make a BMI A320 EGKK-EHAM testflight!Don't know why but it's a nice short flight...Ofcourse I wanted to test RC3 with this flight...Everything goes very well.. from Clearance to push/start taxi to hold short etc etc...After take-off I switch on my PSS A320 autopilot and the plane goes along with the SID including the restrictions...After some miles on the SID RC3 instructs me to go a different HDG because I'm off the airway?So I applied to the intructions, but nothing happened, so after my almost 360 turn I thought I had to go on the airway again...Did that and again, RC3 sa…

Hi, I was wondering if there are more chatter files available for Canada, specifically ground control. I get the same one wav repeating itself over and over during my whole taxi.Thanks, AdamAlso, I though I saw a reference stating that Canada was going to be changed from QNH to altimeter.Is this going to happen?

how does RC3 handle oceanic flights? Does it use HF radio with Gander and Shannon like in real life? I sure hope it automatically cuts down on AI traffic.

Would like to order RCv3. Problem is I am currently living in Mexico. Does Emetrix always ship DHL or FEDEX directly to the orderer, or by other means? I couldn't find any options on the Emetrix order form. The Mexican post office is an unacceptable option for reasons obvious to anyone living here.Thanks, lr.

Just a quick question to see if anyone else has experienced this.Has the following happened to anyone and if so is there a fix?Sometimes, usually around a busy airport, the FS2002 ATC menu pops up and I hear FS2002 ATC giving calls. It's kind of confusing to have both ATC's (rc and fs2002). Is there a way to suppress fs2002 ATC all together?Oh yeah, I have a feature request for Ground Control in RC. Is there anyway to have Ground Control give you directions to the runway at an unfamiliar airport, like fs2002 does? I really dislike having to pull up the top down view to figure out which path to take...just a comment.Thanks!

I do enjoy radar contact, however, lately, I've not been able to get it to work. I create a flight plan in FSNavigator with destination of Montreal. Export it to FS2002 plan. Load up the plan in FS2002 and start flight. I then launch Radar Contact and load up the flight plan only to receive IPC request contains bad data. What is going on? I just completed several trips on UA and listened to ATC during the flights. I noted some things that I'd like to suggest as considerations for the next versions of the product.1. In departing KIAD destined to KORD we were given a ground hold at KIAD per Indianapolis Center direction because of saturation at KORD. Once we got a release time and became airborne, there was significant vectoring accompanied by speed and altitude restrictions before given vectors to "join the transition" and to "resume our own navigation". 2. I know you can't know all airlines around the world. But Aerolinas Argentina???? At least one would expect to find the names of the largest national airlines. Had to use something called Aerostar, which Juliana and the Controller made sound like Eurostar.. heheheBtw - i never figured out what it was Juliana and the majority of controllers called Buenos Aires... :-lol

You know, I am actually begining to think that this may be a very small screw up. I am not sure of the accent or dialect here but if you listen to the 2.wav (clear) and the 3.wav (unclear) they are almost identical? Especially if compared to the your#3.wav where the three is clear in its diction.I am forced to utilize pilot responses (for verification) because of this one single .wav file. I could remove the voice set altogether, which I would hate to do as there are so few (yes, I am working on my own for upload).Question: would it be possible to hack the your#3.wav to produce a better 3.wav? I dont have any software to do that (XPSP1, do I?) but can it be done with…

I have lost the ability to request altitude change, go direct and others. I can select the menu, but no reaction to the key presses. The program might be contaminated. How it happened I don't know. I am going to reinstall Radar Contact. Can I uninstall just the program and keep wave files? I note unins000.dat and unins000.exe files in the rcv30 folder. Are these what I should use? I can't find any reference to uninstall in the RC Manual.Thanks for any help.RichR

Now that the Comcast/ATT broadband merger is about complete, Comcast said is has nothing to do with the ATT users, so your e-mail is about to change from (name)@attbi.com to (name)@comcast.com.Of course if you have a user name that already exists under @comcast.com, you lose.This all happens probably mid February.Good luck.

I use FSVavigator for Flightplanning and PSS Airbus as my default aircraft. Everything seems to work just perfect and I love it! Two queries:In order to reach Glide Slope during an IFR approach, RC seem's to guide me either too close or too high before runway. I therefore often miss the approach or have to apply for VFR approach. The PSS's flightplan sometime matches with RC's ATC telling me at the top of descent (T/D) to lower my altitude. Is that a coincidence or does RC recognise that? If not, would I have to simply apply for lower altitude?Kindest regards, Sam

When I fly the Pss A320 using Rcv3 I can be right on course but the Gps in fs2002 will show a slight difference. Rcv keeps chewing me out for being off course. If I fly with reference to the gps I am unable to use the LNAV feature.Rich

RC3 is a really great addition. After using it for many hours, I have just two points on which I would appreciate comments. 1) Is it possible to disable the course correction feature? Periodically, sometimes for no apparent reason, ATC advises my flight is off course and gives a heading to fly "until suitable for navigation". The heading is ususally close to 180 degrees in the wrong direction. After admonishment for noncompliance, the instruction is repeated indefinitely. The only cure seems to be to cancel IFR.2) What causes, and is it possible to avoid, instances of repeated altimeter settings given in rapid succession? Once or twice in any given flight ATC gives…

Now i have changed the shortcuts, so i use ctrl+1 and ctrl+2, as i want to use 1 and 2 for the pushback function. But ever since i installed RC3 it only works now and then - actually most often it doesn't work, so i have to use slew mode to turn the plane during pushback. It's not that i'm not patient - i have backed so much, that i was about to leave the airport, just to see if it would work sometime - but, no....Are anyone else experiencing this?

Hello Guys, I just wanted to say thanks for a great program. With 3400 hours in the Flight engineers Seat of the Hercules, I was always listening to what ATC wanted our pilots to do. Being unable to fly in the Herc anymore, I have taken up flying it in fs2k2 and your program really fills the void when it comes to ATC interaction. I look forward to many Alaskan flights using RCV3 as well other ATC enhanced flights.Thanks Again...Dave

As part of an "around the world" series of flights I've been undertaking, I recently flew from Sappora Japan (RJCC) to Shemya Island in the Aleutians (PASY). Since the FS flight planner couldn't generate a route using airways, I plotted it as Direct GPS - a "straight line" distance of just over 1400 miles. The problem of course is that a direct east-west (more or less) route of that length at that latitude is nowhere near a straight line.The problem began right after take off as the controller vectored me to 085 degrees (instead of the correct 67 deg.) Folks have well documented the fact that RC just seems to run better on a networked PC using WideFS. I too have found this to be the case. However, until two days ago I did not realize that using RC on a networked PC can save your bacon should your main PC running FS2002 crash/freeze. I was flying from KPDX to KPSP minding my own business when out of nowhere, about 2/3 into the flight, FS2002 froze and so did Windows XP. Why it did, I have no idea and is not why I posted this message. This is probably obvious but I haven't figured it out yet. Here's the scenario:1) I create a flightplan (KDCA to KRDU) in FS2002 using the jet (high)airways. The checkpoints and intersections are listed after generation. I save and load the plan into FS2002.2) I start RC3 and load the same plan which matches.3) After takeoff, I engage the autopilot after departure and engage the plan in GPS nav mode. 4) The plane flies the GPS route which is laid on top of the jet airways as it should be since I requested it be generated using jet airways.After the first checkpoint (intersection) turn, RC3 will call in a bit advising that the plane is off course and gives a heading to …
