Hi,the thing that makes RC3 most realistic for me is the background chatter. (e.g. in spain). Where can i find chatter to download, espacially for germany, italy and other european countries??giochips

I assum the message in the AdvDisp box which says "saving...." means that RCv3 is saving the flight at that point. However, this seems to happen to me everytime the co-pilot has the comm. Is there anyway to control the frequency at which the flights are saved? Thanks.

Hello,if you are flying like me with two pcs (FS on serverand RC on client) maybe I have something for you.To avoid keystrokes like Control-Shift-P I wrote a litteprogram that I call 'RC control panel'.With it you can click onto named buttons and these clicksare internally converted to keystrokes and sent to RC.The program automatically uses the keystrokes that can bedefined within RC, it even allows to test the keystrokesit sends to RC.It works ONLY on client where RC and WideClient do their job,NOT on the pc with FS (there you have to use 'mini control panel').I used this control panel for many flights, placed directly overshowtext window, it works fine with a German ke…

Hi AllI encountered this problem with earlier version of FSUIPC where I would click the Real Winds Button to off in order to reduce the wind velocity to 1 knot, and leave it at that setting so that on my arrival after decending to 5000 ft. the winds would reduce to 1 knot which makes landing easier especially in hi gusty wind conditions.I have downloaed version 2.95 latest edition and every third or fourth flight the winds velocity sticks from anywhere from 10 knots to 40 knots making it very difficult to land which I had encountered with the earlier version. I am assuming the wind velocity is coming from higher levels and remains stuck at that speed even after decending…

Quick question. I'm enroute right now, Fort Lauderdale to Las Vegas, running RC v3 on WideFS. I'm using the PSS A320, primary comm is VHF2, but I've tried it with VHF1 as well. I can't seem to get option 1 or 2 to work. For instance, I can push 9, get 'next' ask for higher or lower. Can push 3,4,5,6 to get higher or lower altitudes, but RC won't acknowledge pushing 1 or 2. What gives? At first I thought it was the second computer that was giving me problems, but 8,9, and 0 all work, then when I get to a menu that's got 3,4,5,or 6 they work as well. Does my problem stem from using the PSS A320? Does the PSS A320 have a second radio installed?Any ideas? Thanks,Lobae…

Hello,I am running a new FS2002. It runs on a very fast system so I don't think that is the problem. When I run my new RC V3 (I have also tried the new Beta sent to me by the support people)WITH EITHER my Flightmax OR my Garmin 530, the Flightmax or Garmin 530 "Screens" blink, lose data, restore data, etc. The problem only occurs when the RC V3 is running. Has anyone seen the problem? Thanks,Ron [email protected]

I may be suffering from greater than normal brain-fade here, but I thought in RC3 there was supposed to be much greater variation in the altitudes that an aircraft was cleared to during climbs and descents. For example, in previous versions climbing ac were always cleared to fl150 then fl230 and so on. I am sure that when I first started using RC3 there was, indeed, some variation. Now, however, I seem to be always getting the standard fl150/fl230/fl330 clearances without much variation.I just wondered what degree of variation should be expected because if it isn't randomised, then you end up pre-selecting the next altitude before instructed by ATC because of over-familia…

Currently I am running RC3 and FS2K2 on the same computer, but I am thinking of installing it on another computer in my network (actualy adding a computer for it.) Can anybody give me an idea of the requirements for running RC3 on another computer via wideFS? I am looking for processor and RAM requirements.Bill

Since this was posted:>Gonna go get one now! >Thanks Scott, >>Adam >>P.S. Are you still working on ACLoader? I can't get mine to >work anymore. I can set the path. If you ever do an update, >I'll be the first to download it! and I've gotten a bunch of e-mail...Yes, I am still working on ACLoader v4.I am currently 50% done. I am loading and flying airliners and cargo planes.I have:- manual fuel loading (either fuel load or distance to fly) in place for when you don't have a plan (but you do because you all use RC, right? ;-))- importing/exporting of routes (for sharing with your pals)- about 25% completion reworking the aircraft data and seating. …

Hello everyone.I just received my copy of RCV3 and attempted to install the program, but received a "I/O error 23" message; therefore, the program will not install. I have the following hardware: P4 2.4ghz, 533mhz cpu, 512mb 333mhz ram, 120gb hard drive(with raid), sound blaster audigy card, 56x cd rom(master),yamaha crw-f1 burner(slave), asus p4pe motherboard, asus ti4200 video card. I am using nero 5.6 and the lastest version of in-cd. I have tried both cds and when I double click the "rcv30" icon I receive the "I/O error 23" message. The only thing I have not tried is uninstalling nero and in-cd, and then attempt another install. I am using windows 2000 pro. Thanks fo…

I've discovered another missing airline call sign. This one is strange because I heard it a lot in the RC chatter while flying last night. I was flying Trans World Express 7911, an ERJ, operated by Chatauqua (spelling is probably incorrect) for TWVA. There is no Chatauqua option. I checked the Pilot/Controller scripts and couldn't find it. So, I had to fly as Trans World Express. TWA had 3 different express operators all flying at the same time. Chatauqua CHQ "Chatauqua" operated ERJs & S340s, Corp-X CEA "Corp-X" operated the J31s, and TranStates LOF "Waterski" operated the J41s and ATRs. I got that information from Hank Belz, our Fleet Manager.Steve

I installed RC3 and absolutely love this add-on. It's fantastic and well worth the money. To all of the RC team, T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U!!!!!!!!I now have four flights of about 1.5 each (all of them UCF to UCF)under my belt and just completed re-reading the manual and I'm a little confused about a few things. A couple (actually four of them) of questions: In all of the questions, this is the flight setting: IFR in VMC, Beechcraft Baron adhering to the east/west altitude rules in USA, at least 3000 AGL in the area being flown over so well above MVA and RW MEAs.1) After I pickup my wx briefing from FSS at the departure UCF, RC provides options that lead you to the runway appeari…

Hello everyone. I have not yet purchased RC3, though I am very enthusiastic about it. There is only one thing besides the high price that is right now preventing me from getting it. And that is the fact that when I set up a flight in my aircraft (always a commercial addon), I leave my computer to do other things until it is time for approach phase. With RC3, will I be able to maintain the program's lock on my position during the flight, and be able to return to it at the appropriate point (from reaching cruise altitude, leaving RC3 for a few hours and expecting it to be able to clear me for descend at my arrival destination)???I asked Andrew Herd a questiong regarding…

I am pretty much satisfied with RCv3 except one thing that it can not request progressive taxi instructions and show me the way by like the red line. I am now interested in LAGO's FSAssist which says it's push back works fine. But how fine? Can FSAssist replace the FS2002's default push back ?

Hi All!I presently have version 5.1 of Fsmeteo and in the near future would like to get a program that would be compatible with RC3. Is the 5.2 upgrade the way to go? The alternatives look like they have some pretty interesting features. My question is how good are the alternatives compared to Fsmeteo? I am looking at Whether Center (Is it fully RC3 comaptible?) and ActiveSky.Any comments to help me decide on which way to go would be appreciated!!Thanks, Scott
