Hi,I recently had to format my hard drive so i had to unistall all my games and addons. Once i installed fs2004, i installed rcv3.0 and sent a request for a new registration key. Once i recieved my registration key, i pasted it itno the box and clicked the register button. But... nothing happens?! Am i doing something wrong? P.S I have not installed the updates for fs2004 yetIf anybody can help me with this matter i would be most grateful!THanks for any helpArman Motiwallawww.emiratesva.com

hi., i am using RC with fs9 and am having problem flying IFR out of US airports. ATC seems to direct me away from the red line marker (i.e GPS direct), then says follow own navigation although i am flying in a different direction. Dont have this problem flying European routes.,any ideas appreciated (maybe i should fly high altitude only or VOR to VOR on long hauls)cheers Dan

I have moved to FS9 but still use FS2002 (got a a high capacity HD).I downloaded RC v3.1 exe built 2205 and new controllers wavs 11 and 12 (from Scott Campbell site).To save on some real state I alias the controllers, Pilots and Winwood files to those in the RC installation in FS2002. Can this be done ?The only thing that I have not not installed are those files called RC "WAV Update Full", mainly because I did not really understood where to install these wavs. Is this estrictly necessary ? Where do I put these wavs ?.Also can I get rid of of RCv3.exe and RCv3b.exe. These were in the FS2002 RC folder. -----------------------------------------------HERE is my pr…

I have installed rcv3.1 and used it with fs2002 for a while. Now i want to use with fs9, but when i click run rcv3, it says cannot connect to FSUIPC. My shortcut leads to rcv31, and i have latest version of FSUIPC installed (3.10).

Hi I hope I am in the right forum to post this question.I fly using PMDG737, FS9, and Radar Contact v3.01 and though I know that RC cannot control the autopilot in PMDG737 I would like all systems to be on the same real world flightplan.The PMDG737 uses *.rte, the FS9 uses *.pln and RC uses *.apl is there a way of writing a real world flightplan that will keep all of these and me happy.I can write such a plan into the PMDG737 FMC but in FS9 I cannot enter airways into a route (I think) neither can I into RCv3.01.Please advise if you can how to overcome this little problem.Best Regards Pat

Is there any way to make the ATC use turn left or right for turn directions all the time instead of fly heading. Just get rid of fly heading all together. If possible??Thanks Bill M

Tip.A Solution I found to the flashing screen with new ATI graphics cards. If you run the ADVDisplay screen 'locked' into position, but NOT 'docked' when using Radar Contact, you don't get the flashing screen when selecting menus in FS9.You do get the display when you change to spot view, but that's not that bad either.Hope it helps someone!Regards,Kevin

ok, I have downloaded everything I needed for the newer version of RCV3.1 and related files. I have the new fuisp file registered the new adv. display window 2.2. I start up my fs2004, and then open my adv. disply window ok. Then when I start up rcv3.1 and go back to my fs2004 airplane is in the air and all my building from local scenery are floating in the air. I have a new link to for shorcut but I can't figure this one out. Hi friends,need help on flying a STAR. I never followed that procedure and i have always been vectored to LOC/GS by approach.Today i'd like to try a new skill...So, how do i select a STAR in FSBuild/FSNavigator if i do not know which Rwy tower will me clear for? I usually fly using Radar Contact and usually i am given a landing prevision as soon as i contact approach. OK. jd, I am using Shez Ansari's Cleveland Hopkins KCLE scenery in FS9. I've noticed that RC3.1 tells me to taxi to r/w 5R a lot. The runways at Hopkins have been redesignated 6L/R - 24L/R with the old 5L-23R being used as a holding pad. I noticed that in r.txt the runways are still designated as 5L-23R and 5R-23L. I changed these to 6R-24L and 6L-24R. Current runways at KCLE should be: KCLE,6017,150,10,99,0 KCLE,8999,150,24L,237,109.9 KCLE,6800,150,24R,237,111.55 KCLE,6017,150,28,279,110.7 KCLE,6800,150,6L,57,111.55 KCLE,8999,150,6R,57,111.9 I believe that the 4th number should be the runway heading correct? RC Delete Dats displays a list of RC Dat (saved flight) files. You select one or more files you want to delete. RCDeleteDats then looks in FS2002flightsmyflts and/or FS9 Flight Simulator Files for the related .flt and .wx files and deletes them as well as the dat. You can select to look in FS2002 and/or FS9 files if you have both sims.All information is in the README file in the zip, so please read it.Available towards the bottom of the Flight Deck's RCv3 Page (link on sig).

JD,I think I found a bug this morning with regard to the v3.1 (confirmed 2205 version) executable and the name of the RC installation directory. I haven't used RCv3 since FS9 came out so I thought I would reinstall/re-register everything this morning.RCv3 Installation to E:Radar Contact v3...rcv3.exe & rcv3b.exe both execute fine.RCv31 and all other 3.1 zips successfully extracted to same dir.rcv31.exe caused a memory exception, everytime (see attached jpg) whether executed from desktop shortcut or directly out of install-dir.manually renamed E:Radar Contact v3 to E:rcv3 and then rcv31.exe executes flawlessly.AL

Just got things loaded properly and loaded a flight plan from KSMF-KLAX. I'm using PMDG 737NG and Active Sky WXRE. When receiving the weather briefing, there is crosstalk between the FS9 ATC and RC3 contollers. Is there any work around?Thanks,Brad StreeterKKLS

KSEA to KCLM. Not far, less then 80nm. I never get handed off to center which I believe is correct. I select the full IAP ILS RWY 8. Just before touch down I get the "Go Around". This happened three times. 1. Is this typical in RW or RC3.1?2. When told to go around do I execute the missed approach or wait for approach vectors?Thanks-Matt

Hi,I was wondering would it be possible to put in an option as to whether ATC issues you a speed restriction of 250KIAS below 10,000ft. I know this is a mandatory speed restriction in the US except for experimental areas in Houston I believe (correct me if I am wrong) but in Europe it is not uncommon traffic permitting to release the speed restriction and give speed discretion to the pilot. Maybe even make it random.Also why not add random late descent clearances. I have a problem with the descent clearance as it never matches any VNAV predictions from the FMC of PIC767 and PMDG737. When i run RC a message says compatability problem with one or more users - i downloaded version RC v3.1 which i believe works immediately with the new FSUIPCdont want to go over old ground but any info on this would be much appreciated cheers, dan -)

I just flew my first flight with RC 3.1 build 2205 and something happened that never occurred before. I was flying KIAH-KTUL in an Ariane 737-300 in FS9. I had FS ATC set up with my VFR fp as I've done hundreds of times. I was 13th in line for runway 33R. Co-pilot had the comms. The wait was 35 minutes! As I approached the hold short line, FS ATC gave me the go ahead to position and hold. I set my parking brake (had pilot autoreply set) nothing happened... No RC to tell me to hold short or position and hold or anything. I went ahead and and set up on 33R and held. HiI'm now enthusiast of RC 3.1 .Now is PERFECT until the last instructions.I'had my last flight LIRF-LIMC (very dangerously near...famous Etna volcano ..).All perfect, I've received the downwind at FL100, ok, about 27nm from CTN DME, strange happens... base vector Ok but FL154 !!!!What does it mean?In Controller info I've set for LICC Transition Alt 7000 so I've written 70 and, as LICC chart indicates 5800'-13300' obstruction alt range,I've written MSA=13300.Is it correct?Does the last strange FL154 depend on my wrong settings in Controller Info?ThanksThis is my last question....I hope.....!!!Paolo
