Greetings,Ok, I have an IFR plan from KLAS->KBOS with the last 3 waypoints being BUF, ALB, KBOS (yea, I should probabally re-export with it being BUF, ALB, GDM, KBOS, but anyway...)I have holding set at 10%. Co-pilot has the comms. We get east of ALB, continue our descent as directed to FL190, and arrival closes the door due to weather or whatever. So, we get told to turn 280 direct ALB when able and expect hold vectors. Fine, no biggie, off goes LNAV, dial up 280, then when we're there turn direct ALB. OK, get to ALB, keep going... and going.. about 20NM, then we're told that all's well with the world again, turn 095 until receive suitable for own nav, direct whe…

I'm flying the PSS DASH8. The top picture shows default FS. Holy cow! They vectored me over thirty miles from the airport! The bottom is RC. Much nicer. But I do have a question. I'd like to fly the plan that I filed. In this case the green line. ATC begins to vector me to turn left to get me in line for the ILS RWY 8. However, I'd like to fly the plan and shoot the entire ILS procedure. If I declare the IAP to ILS RWY 8, does that mean that I don't have to turn to 240 and just maintain the flight path that I filed?Thanks.-Matt

HiAfter solving some problems, finally I've reached the end of my first fly LIBP-LIMC.When in 35L approach, I was in 10000'.ATC gave a heading and new altitude of 9000. Immediately after acknowledging the descent to 9000, I am told to descend to 7000 followed immediately by the standard "xx miles from the marker, fly heading 340 intercept 25L localizer, maintain 3200 (or so) until established etc ..."What do I have to do?I receive more than two instruction together......ThanksPaolo

Waiting for FSACOF updates on PSS planes, I currently use GA and in particular the Baron. I recently made a short flight from Lyon to Marseille (180NM). Everything ran OK on departure but approaching Marseille airport, I lost ATC and Jeff evans (my copilot) was repeating "November seven zero zero roger" again and again with nothing else.... I landed manually, no ATC, nothing....I updated correctly my files to RC3.1 with all wav updates (I guess)What can be wrong?Thanks for the help.

I recently downloaded RC-3.1, since I have upgraded to FS-2004. When I attempt to start RC, I get the following error message:"Radar Contact Version 3.1 has encountered a problem and needs to close". I have forwarded this error to Microsoft (for whatever good that is). I tried setting the compatability to Windows 98, but I still get the error. Does anyone know what the problem is? Will I ever be able to run Radar Contact with Windows XP?Bob Sturm

Greetings, Just updated to newest video drivers for Nividia MMX 440 card and now when I open up RC3 things go all wrong. Lights on taxi way have square around them as a matter of fact all lights go weird and then my computer locks up have to reboot. So, I tried a flight without RC3 and everything was normal. No squares around any lights and no lock ups. Rebooted RC3 and then squares and lock ups. I guess the newest video drivers are not compatibale to RC3 I guess. Is that possible. Should I revert back to last drivers. Don't really know how to tweak as some call it the menu screen for the video card. Any help would be appreciated.Windows XP Home2.4 Ghz CPU1 G mem…

I have all the Necessary Files FSUPIC 3.7 When I Launch RC in FS9the aircraft Jumps straight into the air ? also on the start up menutheres no clearance delivery etc... can someone tell me whats wrong ?do I need to make an adjustment to FSUPIC ?CheersKevs

Just a quickie question while I'm waiting for my RCv3 order to get here...I was thinking about buying an AI traffic program, MyTraffic or something similar. Will RC handle the radio calls to MyTraffic AI traffic properly, or does it only work with internal FS AI traffic?

Hi AllJust a quick question when using Active Sky with 3.1 and tuning to 122.0 to get the updated weather I find the speech is very slow from Active weather and hard to hear.Is there anyway that the speech can be processed quicker and volume turned up. Hello Folks, I registered V3.05 of FSUIPC a week or so ago and later updated it to V3.06 with no problems. Yesterday I had to re-install FS2004 and decided just to install FSUIPC v3.06. Lo-and-behold I could not register it because my key was considered invalid. I then installed v3.05 again and this time it accepted my registration key. Updating it again to v3.06 went jim-dandy. Thus I think we should keep the version of FSUIPC we registered in case we need a naked installation again. Just MHO.Regards

Hello Ray, As you use both Radar Contact and the PMDG 737NG I assume, due to the incompatible A/P's, that you do not use the RC CoPilot because of the need to control the aircraft from the MCP in order to follow any ATC commands, if uttered, to alter course, speed and/or altitude? Am I correct in my assumption?Thanks

The first - it seems that i have copied some soundfiles into the wrong library. The male co-pilots mention the various centers using a female voice... (Ruthanne i think).. Sounds rather stupid. Can it be changed easily?Secondly - seems you have to have a look at Sao Paulo (SBSP). Arriving there today in a Baron, i was told to descend to 3000 ft. Hi Has anyone had a problem with fs Navigator trying to register your registration code, I purchase fsnavigator from Sim Market.com back in 01/10/02 and was using the program without a problem, I recently purchase a new computer and had download and installed the new version 451, after using it for 20 sessions,I lost the program.I contacted Sim Market,but I still cannot get fs navigator back onI am having aproblem trying to get any help from Sim Market,not like Radar contact.I tried to re register using my old registration number but will not take.I just wanted to know if anyone elsae was having a problem like this,if I have to pay another $35.00 they can have it.if anyon…

I have downloaded all the necessary rc files and the fsuipc and advdisp. However, I don't get any message (normally the 1st wp) in the adventure text display in fs9. RC tells me that it is running. I did get a message saying that fsuipc was not registered- though. Can someone help? Thanks!

I think i saw this answered somewhere, now can't find it. Turned off the atc voice in fscof to rely on rc's, but i still get a second voice in the background. RC3's KEWL!
