I looked in the forum for an answer to this, but no luck.Why isn't "EMERGENCY" always present as a choice in RC4? I had an engine failure (generated intentionally by a setting in FSPassenger), fairly close to the destination, but I could not declare an EMERGENCY to RC4. Is there a reason for this?

Sorry if I missed a post somewhere. I tried doing a search and couldn't find anything.I am curious as to how much money was raised and donated during the hurricane relief effort. I know that I purchased the 737 complete package (still haven't flown it), and bet that others purchased a lot, as well.Any final tally on the total donation?Wilson

Hi RC-team,Great add-on you have developed here! I'm really exited about the realism, also of the voices, although some other users found them sound robotic. I personally like them sounding more UK-like than the default FS's here in Europe.Anyway, still have a problem though. This evening I thought I(d practice RC a little more with a short flight EHAM-EGLL in de LVLD 767. Everything went great until I contacted clearance. All of a sudden, I couldn't click anything anymore in the VC. I wanted to set the transponder and my initial altitude but nothing. In the 2D-panel everything went fine. Any suggestions on this? Hi RC team,so far, I'm delighted by RC4, really a very nice add-on!I noticed in my last flight (from Denver to Dulles, using the PMDG 747-400, just to check out some of the "bugs" reported in their forum) that many times (at least a dozen if not more) I heard the controller call an AI flight to contact another Center, heard the AI plane answer correctly, then, less then one minute after, the Controller telling again the same AI flight (same airline/flight number) to check with another Center frequency, again the AI plane responding correclty and again the Controller calling for yet another frequency change and so on and on for at least 10 minutes. I have RC installed on my main FS system. I'm playing around with WideFS and some other add ons. If I install and register RC on the remote WideFS machine will there be a conflict when running it on the remote system because it is installed ( but not running) on the main?There are times when I just fire up the main and fly w/o WideFS - in that case I'd use the "local" RC4. Good morning,I installed both RC4 and Flight Deck Companion (v 1.7) on a second computer WideFS-connected to the main FS one.When I run both RC4 and FDC and I want to perform the FDC "auto" checklists (both AUTO1 and AUTO2) they don't work, I mean, I press the spacebar to progress through the checklist calls, but only every now and then a call is heard, after I press the bar many times. If I quit RC4 the checklist reading resumes its normal operation. No problem, instead, with the MANUAL mode. Same thing happens if I run both RC and FDC on the FS computer (thus no WideFS involved), while if I run RC and FDC separately, one in the first computer and the other in the second…

As long as AFCADs and APxxxx.bgl files are looked at by makerunways.exe, maybe gates and taxiways for each airport along with their location could be entered into a database. This would probably be a minimal challenge for genius Pete D. This would provide a gate choice list on the controller options for destination. If you want a real challenge then maybe Professor Trig can figure out a taxiway routing algorithm but that would be a very big job.Now only the records for the arrival and alternate would be placed into RAM when RC loads the flight so performance would not be affected later. The same technique could be offered for departure.RC6 maybe? Probably with FS10.At lea…

I had a problem with a flight from LIRP to LIME. At about 30 miles S from lime I was vectored by approach to 115. At 13 miles SE from LIME I was vectored to 315, to intercept the localizer runway 29. I was told to mantain 6000 feet (I was at 6000 yet, qnh = 1000). The problem is that at 13 miles from the airport, 6000 feet, is too late to intercept the ILS descent path; indeed the needle of the glide slope was at the bottom of the navigation display. To be sure i didn't make any mistake I did the flight twice, but the result was the same. I am afraid it is a bug (I am sorry for my english).Igor Bischi

I have a regular problem with the altitude assignments from ATC. If I am told to fly at 5000' for example I am constantly told to fly 5000' and scolded even though I am flying that. Also the same for 11000 and 12000.Becoming really annoying that I have to keep pressing F7 to accept and then repeating the process several times.EDIT : After reading another post regarding same issue it looks like I need to manually set the Altimeter rather than press 'B'.Also had a prob with flying a route from FSNav. Well first off i love the program. Did 2 flights so far and have noticed the same problem with the AI Traffic around me. When lining up before the runway i wait for traffic to land. 3 or 4 planes seem to be seperated by less than 1 mile and all execute missed approaches infront of me. When looking at the traffic on the TCAS they are way to close to each other. I even had to execute a missed approach in one of the flights.Also when in busy approach traffic areas i constantly hear the phrase "resume own navigation" rather then headings altitues and speeds for the AI traffic around me..I only have radar contact installed. Any clues as to what i am missing or doing wron…

I'm using an addon to get the new runway 36L/18R at EHAM (Schiphol), I have a WideFS installation. I followed the instructions in the manual to rebuild the r2.csv file. But I still see only the existing runways. Which are still called 01L/19R and 01R/19L and the other runways but not the new runway. I checked the scenery.cfg file and it looks ok. Happy New Year.Love the improvements in RC4.I am having a problem with requesting an altitude change.I've been flying GA aircraft around Florida at altitudes around 5000.If I request from center a lower altitude, the menu goes to the next page. That page is blank. If I press the 9 key to go to the next page, all that is showing is selections 1 thru, 6 or 7, etc. without any altitudes listed.If I request a higher altitude from center, no matter what selection I make and how many times I reqest a change, I'm never been given the change. I'm told that center has my request, etc.Is this a bug or am I doing somthing wrong?Thanks again,Gerry

First of all I would like to say thank you to the RC4 team, it's a great add-on and it's the probably the best money I ever spent in FS9. In my PC the voices are quite OK as well, so no major complaints here :)Now to my question, I fly quite often in Russia as my favourite bird is Project Tupolev's Tu-154. Unfortunately not a lot of Russian airlines and airports have been recorded. Actually I think there's only UUEE for the airports and only Aeroflot for the airlines. My question is, is it possible to include some more airlines and airports in Russia for the next recording update? I would be also willing to record a set with a Swiss accent ;-)Regards,Daniel

Sir,I've noticed that even though I am rebuilding my scenery database, it is not finding all the airports, including some default airports. The airports I am specifically talking about appear to be all the ones that have water only runways. It seems to find any airport that has a water runway and one type of another. The two airports that led me to this discovery are X44 (Miami Seaplane Base) and BNF (Warm Spring Bay Seaplane Base). Small airports to be sure, but they actually exist in real life and in the FS9 default. This led me to do a search of about 10 different water only airports in the rc4.csv file, of which none were there. Is this a bug or done by design?Thank …

Both the REACH (USAF Air Mobility aircraft) and SAM (89th Airlift Wing VIP transports) callsigns have .wav and script files already defined in the various Winwood directories...but neither of the callsigns appear in the airline menu. I manually edited the C4.csv file and managed to get them to work, but the auto update process is going to overwrite my edits, so can we add them into the file, please?Also, pressing the "check for updates" button is putting RC4 into debug mode before it goes to the website to check for updates.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile

Downloaded and installed the new voice files from Avsim today. They seem to not have previews to hear the voices like the original ones have. Is this intentional or did I miss something? They appear in the voice list, just no preview!One of the original english (American) voices is pronouncing Colgan,as Calgon! Can this be corrected!. I am not sure whose name it is.Rick

I did a flight this morning from KONT - KLAS and at both airports wile i was taxing to my departure runway i had an aircraft turn and start taxing into my path after it was cleared todo so from ground. Nothing from ground telling me or the other aircraft to stop or anything? Other then that the flight was great!
