Hey Guys,When I select Atlantic skys for a call sign it it comes up in the box but by clicking OK it sends it back to the letter "A". Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First of all the program is fairly good over level ground. Flying for a VA I get climb and descent altitude call outs such as climb to 200 feet from 18000 or descend to 100 feet from 12000. Flying a flight from SBKP to SCEL will result in a descent into the mountains approx 60 miles from SCEL. This has occured in five straight flights. I can assume climb and descent call outs were meant to be 20000 feet and 10000 feet but guiding airplanes into mountains in IFR conditions ain't very cool.

Dear peopleHow can I make RC play some chatterfiles at a specific airport. I know how it works with centres and country specific regions but how can I make it play the files for a specific airport. Say I have some chatter files for EDDT (Berlin Tegel). I found some airport folders in the windwood folder like LSZH, LSGG. Do I just have to create a folder named "EDDT" with the the app, twr etc subfolders and put the files there?I know "rtfm" but I just couldn't find this information :( thanks for your help!Patrick

Just received the new RCV4, and having installed it, set up a trial flight with FS Nav 4.1. Everything ok so far, until I came to export to RCV4, and found that the export option to there had disappeared. I had used it with RCV3 a few days before, but after the new install, gone... Any ideas what is happening here guys, suggestions welcomed.

Hi,After a dozen or so successful flights with RC4, I ran into a problem today. I was flying from KLIT to KMCI in a Flight 1 DC9. All was normal until approach gave me a heading to intercept the ILS to Rwy 1 Left. At this point I was outside the range of the ILS. I held the heading until I saw I was past the inbound course (using Nav2 tuned to the airport VOR), then I turned back and picked up the ILS at 25 miles. The problem stems from RC4 giving me an intercept around 28 miles from the threshold, outside the ILS range. I was using default scenery, ActiveSky weather (winds at 2800 ft were 325 @ 24). My airspeed at the time of vectors was 180 KIAS, altitude 2800 ft.Otherw…

I was departing from CYYZ and RC cleared me onto runway when there was an aircraft landing and it was very close if I entered the runway it would have flown right over me as I would position myself (so it was very close on final), I saw it so I just waited till it landed and then did my thing. Doesn't sound right...Not sure if this problem was touched before or not.

I encountered the following problem in RC4. I was told to contact a controller on certain frequency (128.45) but in the advdisp window I only had the option to contact on another frequency (124.5 I think).So when I selected the only available option nothing happened except that I got repeated instructions from RC ATC to contact the controller on 128.45.Because of that I was stuck and couldn't complete the session.Did I do something wrong? A bug? What could I do?

I have only done a few flights with Radar Control but notice that some major Airports eg,YPAD Adelaide,are referred to by their code rather than the name as in the case with FS9 atc control. Is there any way that the voice packs for Editvoice and My Traffic can be used with rcv4? I currently have both installed. Apart from the slowness of speech I am impressed by the program though I wish the controllers would stop constantly telling me to check my altitude! I assume that this is due to constantly changing air pressure in the weather theme used at the time? I will have to check this out.

...one last one here...this might be more of a software upgradeI was wondering if it's possible to let RC select the sound card to use reason would be for splitting sound into USB headset while engine sound is on speakers. I know there are some programs that do that like SquackBox not sure maybe it would need a whole new RC so never ming.. :)I do not use squackbox but used it just red that it's capable of doing so while searching through forumsI did get my computer to send sound to both speakers and USB headset, but it did it with both ATC and Engine sound and I did it somehow by mistake was never able to reproduce the effect.I do know that FS9 can not do it by itself and…

Just a note that this program broke RCv4.exe; RC would not start after so don't use it on RC :)I after braking just put the CD in and started new install then stopped it as it was extracting files and I saw RCv4 extracted.Did not due full install just when started asked me again for the Activation Key so I entered the old one I got and it worked.ImageCfg.exe is to set up a program to use certain CPU (affinity) if you have Hyper-threading, I run my FS on CPU1 and 2 and all other FS related programs are on CPU2 It does make a difference especially with Active Weather 6.So nothing to do about it just a note that it broke the RCv4.exe :( don't use it on it :)After doing this …

When opening the adventure display in FS, I get this problem (see attached image).Whether the window is docked or undocked I can not get anything to display beneath it.Please help!Ben Briscoe

I was travelling at FL290 and getting close to my destination (Tutorial 1), when the controller lowered me to FL270 and five seconds later to FL240. Why is that? This is what I'd expect from FS2004 ATC :-( Amit

I get annoying chatter full of static that sometimes overlaps the actual ATC communications of RCv4. It doesn't seem to relate to anything going on around me.Pre recorded chatter is disabled in RCv4 and FS2004 ATC is completely muted.Is it a bug? a setup issue? aliens trying to channel through my Rcv4?Amit

RC4 doesn't recognize the EDDF airport. I've the free scenery of EDDF. I've read in other topic that you make it available a file for replacing the existent one. Is there anyway to load the flightplans into the GPS without going thru the FS9 flightplanner and ATC?

Hello all!I am looking forward to using RC4!! I am having some problems though. I am using a GeForce Go 6800, with 81.98 drivers. My AA is set at 8xS. My problem is with the Adv Text utility. After following the instructions in the PDF supplied with the product, I was getting the green box with the garbage text. I have tinkered with FS and am now getting the RC4 text to display in the proper window, but I cannot click on any of the instruments in my airplanes (default cessnas, LDS 767 for example). Also, the panel doesn't display below the Adv text utility. The screenshot shows how the overhead panel will not display below the text window. This is very frustratin…

There are missing frequencies for Aerosoft OWL 2005 in Germany. (EDLI), Oerlinghausen (EDLO, Paderborn-Haxterberg (EDLR), Hoexter-Holzminden (EDVI), Blomberg-Borkhausen (EDVF), Detmold (EDUD). I tried to fly these airports but no fequencies for these airports.

Hi,Today on a flight from Singapore to Hong Kong, I had the "incredible luck" to be asked to enter a holding pattern. After almost 90 minutes flying in circles, the ATC extended the hold yet another time, and I decided I better start getting down, or I wouldn't have fuel to make it to the alternate in case of a missed approach. Hi,Any reason there aren't any frequencies included for Incheon Intl. (RKSI)? According to FS9 it's a full service airport (which I also would guess from the size of the airport).
