Hi.I just tryed my second flight in the patched PSS B777 whileusing RCv4. When at cruise alt ATC said something along the lines of "you appear to be off course, fly heading ***." Theheading they told me to fly was in fact almost 180 degreesfrom the course I filed in my flight plan. I had to abandon the flight as ATC wouldn't stop telling me to fly in thisopposite direction to where I was meant to be flying. This happened the last time I flew the PSS B777, and as faras I am aware this does not happen with other aircraft, but I'm not 100% sure if this is the case as I havn't been flying in a while.Does anybody else have this problem? Annyone know how I can fixthis as the PSS 7…

I have bought many, many products all my life, some of which need orientation, but I have never felt so supported as it happens with this forum. You have answered so many questions that just reading them even if they are not our primary concern, gives tips to latter doubts of ours and sometimes we just don't need to post it because it was answered before.Eduardo

It seems that Paris control decided to cover up his mistake by reporting me to the UK CAA.Just completed LFML (Sim-Wings) - EGKK (Gatwick Pro) in the PMDG 737. Controller gave me the instruction to descend to FL270 from FL360) which I followed religiously. Upon crossing FL320 (or thereabouts) I receive a TCAS TA and notice a formation of two at FL310 that would be crossing my path in VERY short space of time. Sure enough shortly after I get a RA Climb from the TCAS which I obey, I am now climbing at 3000fpm. Paris control gets the hump. I level off at FL320 until both aircraft have passed and I get the aural OK from the TCAS. By then Paris control has bawled me out …

Three issues: 1.Weakness in the emergency-function - 2. At what extend does RC interact with AI on ground. - 3. Interaction with AI when airborneI like to use RC, Active Sky, FS Real time, FsPassengers and AIsmooth, as this all gives a kind of challenges that bring so much realism to the flight simming that I find it really worth spending hours of hours on this hobby.I am a new user of the RC and to start with I had a lot of computer-related trouble with the old ADV-display, causing so much interference with my flying that I did not really catch up with the ATC at all time. Now I have the new feature by Pete Dowson and I really have got the grasp of the RC. The program …

I was flying my PSS A320 from Gatwick(EGKK) to LLBG. RC was on. FL was 290.After crossing Cyprus, Nicosia contol handed me over to Tel-aviv control.I was told to descend to 170. My next and last waypoint was SOLIN, about 80kms from LLBG. The conroller told me to be ready to cross 40mls from BGN VOR which sits smack on top of LLBG at 100/250kts.Crossing SOLIN , I started descending to 100, in time to make it 40mls from BGN as required. Here's where the contoller went ballistic. I got warning after warning to maintain 170. But there's no way I would get to BGN at 100 unless I started the descent after SOLIN.Anyways RC brought some guy from the FAA? with a severe reprimand f…

Hi Guys,First off I want to tell you how much enjoyment I have had from RC4. This is a great add-on and look forward to the product as it grows.I've seen several posts on here related to future functionality and so I thought, as a serious user, I would put my 2 cents worth in to the mix.I have recently taken to flying transatlantic routes from US to Euro ports of call. I think a real nice enhancement, that would seem not to be to difficult to do at first glance, is to provide functionality for requesting oceanic clearence from Gander or Shadwick control areas. Some of the other things that perhaps could be simulated as well would include loss of VHF comms during part of t…

I did a flight yesterday from KPHL-KDFW. KDFW ATIS said that Rwy 13R is in use. As a good pilot however, I waited for the clearance from ATC. Approach told me to expect 13R as well. However...I was vectored to Rwy 35R and had to declare a missed approach. Also, I was running a little bit low on fuel during the hold with about 1500 lbs remaining and wanted to get ATCs attention to declare a low fuel emergency to prevent my passengers and most importantly me(!) a horrible plunge from 5000 feet, but there was no such option. KDFW is standard FS9 scenery with no additional AFCADs, unless Ultimate Traffic did.Full flightplan: KPHL DPONT 5S51 OTT J42 MEM J66 LIT.BYP5 KDFW

Hi all! I'm running RCv4.0 because of the stuttering with 4.01 and the downside was the more robotic sounding voices, with words spaced out, that 4.01 addressed.Yesterday I installed FSUIPC 3.6 and have done a couple of flights since then and noticed almost immediately that the pace of the voices has improved to the level of 4.01! At first I thought I was imagining it but as it wasn't an effect that I expected I don't think it is imagination. Careful listening convinces me more and more that this is a definite improvement and I thought this might be of interest to the team. Upgrading FSUIPC is definitely the only change I made that could have done this. :D Iain

hello guyssorry i just got my RC and this is my 2nd question today1)Which AI Traffic package do you guys reccomend by your experenices?2) I am erout WSSS now, and i requested FL370 from FL350 controller said, "i will be clear of the traffic very quickly and ask again in about 2 minutes" shows how acurate RC4 is but when i look around i see no other aircraft in 10 miles at all, and one more thing, i hear RC chatter to other raffic on gorund but ive been enroute now for 8 hours and havnt heard RC4 to talk to anyother traffics, i have my traffic slider to 100% (i was number 11 to take off)thanks

It would be great to have RC set up to recognize actual verbal readbacks. Generally, the entire ATC / pilot conversation is simply, "Instruction" . . . "Readback." If RC could be enabled to recognize a set of key ATC words: like "Altitude", "Heading" . . . (and of course a couple of hundred others), a system of "correct response readback" might be designed. RC would need to "hear" at least several correct words in response to its last instruction set. In the real world, ATC instructions are extremely structured. Also, in the real world, readbacks are a mess. RC could set up the readback recognition system up so it will only recognize readbacks when properly structured an…

When holding in "ON" it seems to kick in on a random basis. I just got put on hold for "traffic saturation" at KMQY with no AI traffic anywhere in sight. Maybe there is a way to make this more realistic, i.e. dependent on the amount of AI craft in the area, or am I asking too much ? :)

I'm experiencing what seems to be a bug related to RC4's detection of an "off-track" condition when the GPS is used for "own nav." Here's the scenario:1. After "resume own navigation," use the GPS to manage heading - GPS/Nav switch in the GPS position and enabling Nav on the autopilot. The GPS and autopilot nav function will manage the track according to the loaded flight plan.2. Use RC4's "Dir Ckpt" feature (on Next menu from main screen) to select a future waypoint for direct-to clearance and receive requested clearance.3. Use the GPS to activate the flight plan segment beginning with the direct-to waypoint (intersection or VOR). (On the GPS, click FltPlan button, press…

Hi All, Am having problems when I start up RC4. Sometimes it starts OK and I think I have it sorted but then the next time I try I have to set it up two or three times before it will start. I first start FS9 and create a flight plan with FS9 Flight Planner and save flight plan.I then close FS9 and start RC4, loading my saved flight plan. After setting runways and parking gates etc I then close RC4 and start up FS9 again loading my flight plan and starting flight. Once I have started up FS9 I then open Adventure Text Display Window and resize & dock the window. I then put FS9 into windows mode and startup RC4 loading FltPlan ensuring Runways and parking gates a…

I had a previous version of RC and could not get to grips with it. Too little time and not enough patience. Now I am semi-retired and I have had RC4 for a few weeks and read the manual (at least I thought I had :-zhelp) and was told yesterday I was a pile of poo (my words not theirs). So I read the manual again and spotted the paragraphs I had skipped/missed last time :-hmmm, and today after a few more flights got Good job. I was chuffed to bits. More like a 16 year old than a 61 year oldThanks guys for what to me is now the best add-on I have. It is OK having all the great planes (and I do have some of them them) but when I get vectored into the side of a hill on a pitch…
