Is it possible to make a RC V5 Pause at Top of Descent. Most of the time on a flight you have to change configuration at TOD. So, when you leave a flight going over night you want it to pause at TOD. It is hard to tell were TOD will be, because where center has you decent and the flight plan tells you TOD is not always the same place.

Hi all,i have just installed RC4.3 but when i am in FS9, Modules drop down menu there is no adv display option.i can get it up by running RC while i'm sitting on the tarmac, but i think this is FS own viwer and not radar contacts, when i right click on the box i can't dock it or anything, just close it.any ideas? i have searched for an answer with no luck.

my acknowledge and repeat keys don't seem to be working i have tried different keys, being sure that they are not being used already.This results in me not being able to acknowledge the ATC taxi instruction.any help please.

Is there any chance with V5 that you would be able to get it to work with AI Blast (FS HotFX)? With V4 it's one of the Add Ons that is not compatible, as a result I don't let RC inter ac with my AI, because RC won't use airline names when communicating with AI if AI Blast is working. But I like the AI sounds from AI blast too much to get rid of it. It might be too late for this request, but it never hurts to ask :) Thanks!!!

Hello,I flew the DVR 5F SID from EGLL yesterday when I got into trouble with altitude restrictions: The SID is relatively long (80 nm) and requires the pilot to fly at or below 6000 ft QNH until about 44 nm after takeoff from runway 27R.Pretty much 5 nm after takeoff I was immediately cleared to FL110 although the SID demanded had the 5000 ft and 6000 ft QNH altitude restrictions, which are also programmed into my FMC.Flying with the FMC, I kept the altitude to 6000 ft and Radar contact started complaining very badly, saying that I busted my altitude restriction.I know that ATC can generally clear you above standard altitude restrictions as required, however RC does this …

I just purchased Radar contact today via download, and installed it for both FS9 and FSX, full installations. I received my registration key, and input it into the FS9 version of rcv4 without a problem, and the program now opens fine.But I then clicked on the rcv4x.exe file to see if I also needed to enter the registry key there, but it won't open. I get this message:C:Program Filesrcv4xwinwood99 was not found. RC cannot continueI don't see anything in the FAQ about this problem.Thanks in advance!Chris Wren

JD,I've just re-installed RC4, 4.01 4.2 and finally 4.3.I've followed your instructions regarding markerwys file.I've rebuilt scenery database and set flt path correctly.I'm using FS9 and during a flight from KHQM to KSAC, I get a runtime 9 or 52 error after I contact FSS to file flightplan. I love RC4 and have one question. This is never an issue with FMC equipped planes because they allow flexibility in modifying a route with an ATC change such as a direct to change. My problem is with non FMC planes such as those using the default Garmin 500. When you are told to go direct to a new waypoint, it erases the 500 whole flight plan and just shows the direct to portion. Is there any workaround this? I hate having the whole route disappear except the direct waypoint. Thanks. TomP.S. Hi all, just wondering if anyone can tell me why there is AI parked in my gate when I get to my destination airport.I set an arrival gate in the Controllers setup, but when I get to my destination, I get told to taxi to, for eg B5, and when I get there some other aircraft is parked there.Am I doing something wrong?Thanks

Hello AllI have been trying to run RC4 in Vista 32 Ultimate and have had no luck. I keep getting MSINET.OCX not registered even after I have registered it in the CMD window. The file is located in the windows/System 32 directory. I downloaded the library file referenced in the FAQ #29 but that did not helpeither. Any help woukd be appreciated. Tony Megowan

Fellow Simmers,I'm having a slight problem in getting RC4 to respond in FSX. When I hit the corresponding keyboard number of the option listed in the FSUIPC window the is no response from RC4.I have followed the FSX only setup instructions for migrating RC4 to RC4.3. I have ver 4.12 of FSUIPC. Here are the steps I'm performing in launching RC4 & FSX - 1. Create a flight plan via FSBuild 2.32. Launch RC4, select flight plan3. Launch FSX4. Go to RC4 and click the Start RC button5. Go to FSX, complete selecting aircraft, airport, etc, laucnh flight.Any ideas as to why there's no response from RC4?Regards,Bob L

Hi, this has happened several times while Im on the tower frequence were I just hang and wait for the tower to clear me to poistion and hold. Usually the FO has the comm frequences at this time and ground has already asked me to tune and monitor tower. I waited at KBOI for a good 4 minutes until I just decided to depart without instructions from the tower, I know, thats a big no no... but I just exited the flightsim after departing anyways. Just curious to know if others are having the same issue, there were no other planes waiting for takeoff besides me, and I have already rebuilt the scenery serveral times.Thanks RC,Bill

The addition of "Clear out of controlled airpace..." and "Clear down to ..." ~ whatever altitude; sector, MOCA, MEA etc. "In event of a missed, I'd like ~altitude~ to my alternate" Simply, more for flights into / out of controlled airspace.I fly all types but primarily lighter, lower level GA types with VOR/ADF/GPS.Great product, thanks for it.Regards,Larry

hi,i have fsx and since i bought radar contact i could split atc sound and engine sound to my USB-headphones on the one hand, and to speakers on the other hand. it seems not to work with rc4.3.i switched my settings on my system (XP) so that i hear 'audio' on the speakers, and 'voice' on the headphones. is there any way i can somehow assigne radar contact to 'voice' as output sound? may changing a path in the script?thanx,chrjs

Hi,I remember reading about this quite some time ago, the Radar Contact software add on for MSFS.. I remember being quite dubious about it at first really unsure as to whether it would make my experience much more enjoyable.. I must say that I took some convincing and then eventually decided to take the plunge.Well.. if I'm flying IFR with just MSFS now.. I can't live without it.. It is extremely useful, much more realistic and a huge improvement over the default ATC within MSFS. I remember thinking to myself (before getting RC) that the only improvement I would be interested in for MSFS was the ATC.. once again we were all disappointed as it was mainly graphical enhance…

I use the Eaglesoft Citation X almost exclusively in FS9.Trying my hand at a few add-on helicopters, but still greatly prefer the Eaglesoft products.The Stock MS aircraft are just too horrible to bother with.
