Hi, I was taxing to runway 27 at KSAN when all of a sudden the two aircraft infront me me stop on the taxiway and are holding for aircraft taking off and landing. Is there another way around this, since it seemed to stop all taxi traffic heading to runway 27 and caused quite a backlog behind me since we stayed on the taxiway for a good 10 minutes waiting for all the departues near the 27 holding point. We were quite a bit away from the holding point.Thanks,Bill

Everytime i want to rebuild the scenery, a box pops up and ask me if it's a Widefs installation. (Have no clue what that is). However - i say "No" and then have to define the path manually to the library where i have my simulator. Before the re-installation, i just had to press the button and then the update started.Can't see any .ini file or anything where i can define the path. How can i get back to normal?CheersLars Kl

Hello,First I want to say that I have spent many hours without problems using RC v4. I have used it with the following payware a/c without any incidents: F1 MD80, F1 ATR, FeelThere A320, PSS 757, snd PMDG 747. However, I never used it with the PMDG 737NG until today, and tried to make a 2 hour flight. Out of 2 attempts I got a CTD both times, and the CTD came almost exactly at the same place in the descent (about 60 miles from destination). Hello, I did some runway re-numbering at KMIA and refreshed the RC datebase 3 times, however the tower still tells me to taxi to runway 27L, when there is no 27L just 27, 26L and 26R...is there something else I need to do since it looks like just re-numbering some runways via the AFCAD editor does not seem to work.Thanks,Bill

I have recently purchased RcV4, and have had one sucessful flight on it. Overall, I'm happy with it, yet frustrated.My first flight was on the PMDG 747-400, SFO-IAD: both sceneries payware. Weather generator is ActiveSky V6 (FS2004), FSPassengers was also running. RC worked perfectly, and I enjoyed using it (although I wish there were a few more voices, and that they sounded less "robotic"). On several places in this form I read:"I try to open RadarContact for MS Flight SImulator and receive an error saying "Component MSINET.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registerd: a file is mission or invalid."It seem that this problem is due to Windows Vista.Everytime the administrator point to solutions, but I never read that the problem is over.I tried everthing, but my radar contact in my vista don't start. Only always that same message.Ik would like to know if there is somebody with a working Radar Contact in Vista. Otherwise it seems a waste of money to buy it for Vista owners.Greets Rick.

Look, i really like this product but one thing is driving me nuts!I can only save a flight occasionally. I press the ";" (semi-colon) key & get the save flight window which i complete, then when i look for the saved flight, it appears in the FS9 saved flights menu but is not listed on the RCv4 "load previously saved RCDs' button.I know it should work because some tutorial flight situationa i saved earlier are in both menus.What am i doing wrong?, i have tried closing down FS9 1st after saving a flight & i have tried closing down RCv4 1st, but it only works in a random fashion. I am a Commercial Pilot in real life, currently working on my CFI ratings, and I have been desperatly wanting some realism out of Flight Sim's ATC for some time now. Hi GuysHelp needed.I'm using FS navigator to create flight plans which are exported to Fs2004 for use with RCV4.Problem is that when I load the plan into RCV4 the flight shows as " to@35000ft " and shows no departure or arrival airport. If I start RCV4 the program dumps me in the middle of the Atlantic off the coast of Africa.This has only just started happening and I,ve changed nothing that I'm aware of in any of my FS programs or settings.

I was wondering if V5 will include warnings about wake. I know not everyone has wake effects enabled but RC could be set up so that if an aircraft landed just before you, it will warn you about it. Newbie question, sorry, but I'm allowed one right? ;) I've tried to search the forum for this topic, but it searches all the Avsim forums not just this one.Anyway, how can I fly a star without getting chewed out by FISDO?I know how to fly a SID, by selecting 'Atlitude Restrictions' in the options screen, but sometimes I want to fly a STAR because, for example, the ATC at VHHH will vector me too close to the high ground.I can select the arrival rwy and a STAR and put it into my FMC (PSS A330)but as soon as I deviate, ATC gets really ###### and that FISDO bloke is waiting for me again!:-roll Oh, I'm using FS and RC4.cheers,Graham W

I bought the download version yesterday. Still haven't got the register-key. Sent an e-mail yesterday and a reminder today, still no replay. Whats going on? I've done a search here on "undock+window", but didn't see anything.Today I tried using RC4.3 with level-d B763 (FSX, WinXP). I have two monitors, run in DualView. I undocked and moved the level-d throttle quadrant to my second monitor, while in VC mode. I found that I could not interact with the FSUIPC/RC4 dialogue to initiate ATC. Pressing the number keys did not invoke the usual "blinking" of the dialogue box, and while I got lots of ground chat, I couldn't go anywhere if I wanted ATC.Thanks, Bruce.

I received the registry key with e-mail but the key doesn't work. I copied it into the register-screen clicked the button and the register screen vanished without any comment or failure-message.After restarting RC the register screen asked again for the key. I read in another post that there might be a problem with the minus sign in the ID number I have not included this in the second mail I wrote to the register-bot because with my first try (when I included the - sign) I received a mail that the bot wouldn't be able to process the request because there were alpha signs in the ID string. Please help I'm eager to getting started!!

I've scoured this site's forum and the LDS forum for this problem but it doesn't seem to be affecting anyone else. So help might be tough to get. I'm a big fan of both Radar Contact and the Level D 767, but I'm having a *lot* of trouble using them together. After I had installed RC (great program!) I noticed I had a lot of planes using 'City Ireland' as their call sign. I quickly learned these were KLM Cityhoppers normally using 'City' as their call sign. I take it RC uses the first letters to see which callsign to use, but in this case, it ends up using the wrong one for ai traffic.How can I adjust this so 'City' is used for KLM Cityhopper aircraft?Thanks,Menno

I was wondering if RC works for ground control,planes are landing on top of each other,no spacing on the ground,planes crossing runways while taking off,told to taxi into position and hold and the plane behind me does it also,I am only using 50% for airline traffic and 30% for GA,using FSX and My Traffic X,default ATC turned off.One other thing,when I start FSX I have a lot of traffic,but sometimes it all slowly disappears to were traffic explorer has nothing but me on it,I see this coming cause my frame rates go way up..Any help would be great..Thanks

For some reason, when clicking on an airliner or specic plane on the plane data list, something other than what I picked comes up. Its usually the listing above the one I pick that will play the wave file. Is there some way to correct this, this just started and I don't recall doing anything different to cause this.ThanksArnold

Hi guysI am still very much a newbie with RC...only installed last week but I am sure that I will enjoy it as I get into it.I have been wading through the manual and have got to the bit about tutorials. Should these have been installed into my FSX flt plans because if so, they are not there?I have also spotted the tutorials on the website but cannot find where to d/l them. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
