I just recently received the CD version of RC v4.3.3845. I also received my registration key and intalled everything according to the user manual.I also updated FSUIPC per the manual. I was never able to find any FSUIPC update instructions, so I just deleted the copy in my FS9 directory and installed the latest version from Peter Dawson's website.I now have the following problems:1) RC crashes and I receive the following message "Run Time Error 76" and some verbage about FSUIPC errors.2) The user manual shows the main menu with an icon entitled "CHECK FOR UPDATES". My main RC menu does not have that icon. How am I to check for updates?Any help would be appreciated.

Hey folks,Done quite a few flights with RC now and think it is a terrificprogram and have got into the swing of the RC atc world, but I do have a problem with my UT AI and wondered if anyone could assist, RC communicates with the AI on ground, position hold etc and in the air ie warnings of crossing traffic given for me and the AI, no problem there but the traffic does not hold position on the ground for me and just now on app to Denver two AI shot past me on the app ( one right behind the other ) one then disappeared and the other landing blocking the runway, no communication was given at that time to the offending AI but I was cleared to land.I am using AISmooth and won…

Hi, As stated in the subject, I am considering to purchase this fine addon for the FS9, but there are some questions I would like to know better before giving my money away:1) Does it run on Windows 2000? According to the requirementes in the home page it needs WinXP/Vista. In spite of this, is there any chance that it can be run on Win2000, even not officially supported?2) Somewhere I read RC doesn't manage ground operation. I don't know if this claim refers to an old version. Is it so or maybe I am wrong?Thanks in advance,JAMM

Was watching a friend demo this software, and became intrigued...A question, though; during transmissions (user to program/ai to program) I noticed that the distance to waypoint did not change. I think I remember reading somewhere that Radar Contact is written in Visual Basic. Is this because Visual Basic is limited in performing two tasks at once?The reason I ask is; there was a considerable amount of AI set and the aircraft overflew the waypoint, and went to the next one, but the Radar Contact screen did not advance to the next waypoint. Is there any way for you to correct some mispronunciations in your ATC voice files? Is anyone collecting up errors that can be corrected in a next release?Flying between EGHI and the Channel Islands, I hear Aurigny's callsign as A-lene, sometimes Eye-line and occasionally the correct 'A-line'. I've heard their Trislander pronounced at Try-Islander. One controller instructed me to contact 'Beast Control' (or it may have been 'Breest Control') instead of Brest Control. On the other side of the world, the Australian city of Melbourne is pronounce 'Mel-bn', not Mel-borne. I'm sure there are others.How about it?Brian

This is a brilliant program. I am using it on a full A320 Airbus simulator at the moment and running RC on a seperate networked computer and it works perfectly. Is there any way to get the main RC program to load and start via the FS9 computer even though RC is running on a networked computer. The reason being, I prefer not to have another monitor and keyboard outside the sim, and therefore having to go out and load the plan and start the RC program outside the Sim.Keep up the great work, this is one program you do not want miss having.Regards................Brian Williamson

I bought RC 4.3 and installed it. I go to run it but I only have the option to run it for FSX. I am wanting to run it for FS9. My search results came back with a whole lot of nothing and mentioned in one post some rift raft way of doing something that made no sense at all. What am I doing wrong? thnx for any help

Ok, I tried and verified that I have entered the data in correctly as per the FAQ. I run it and rebuild database. I put into the location D:FSX and it shows RC rebuilding r4.csv, running MakeRwys.exe. Then after clicking OK it says RC finished rebuilding r4.csv and I click OK. It then says RC rebuilding new A4.csv file. When I click ok it gives me the followingRun-time error '6' Overflow. I am running Vista Ultimate32bit with 4 gig ram with a EVGA 7900 video card on an AMD Dual core 4200. I will try to get it to work on a networked pc running XP pro but would like to get it to work on the main one. Ken

I'm running RC from a Widefs machine. Is it possible to display the ATC window for the commands on the WideFS machine instead of the machine that is running FS? Can the keystrokes come from the support computer?Thanks,Steve

Hi guys, quick question for the RC team, I on every flight that I have done via the FS9 flightplanner, everytime approach tell me to flight a certain heading to intersect the ILS path for the specific runway, its alwsy too late and I have flown past the path to intersect. Is there anything I could do to have ATC tell me to intersect the path sooner, this is happing on all my flights and the only way to tell if I have passed the ILS glide path is to glance at my GPS and then I have to correct the heading to get on the ILS path, kinda unreal especially when Im at zero visiabilty with trublence and showers. I have problems in trying to get FS2crew, Radar Contact and Level-D 767 to work together. They use the same keys. E.g.:Level-D: "Ready to close the door captain" Press 0 or 1Radar Contact: Press 1 for IFR clearrance. or 0 for menu. I then tried to change the keys, but it made the game CTD. Received a new key last night, copied and pasted, click; in a few seconds the screen closes. When I try to open RCv4 the registration page comes back on. Don't remember this problem before. Do you have any ideas?Thanks,louross

Hi all When using the alternate keyboard entry window to obviously select a different airport to the original destination I seem to have a problem. The entry board reduces FS2004 to the task bar and presents itself on the desktop. If I enter the ICAO and press enter nothing happens. On maximising FS2004 from the taskbar the new destination airport is not showing on the RC ADV Display box. Am I doing something wrong or do I have Gremlins?, should FS2004 stay maximised when using this facility? Thanks for your help.

Lately I've been having problems with atc, esp the takeoff and departure stages.I'm told to line up, then cleared for takeoff. When I hit the key to respond, it takes a full minute for my answer to be heard. from then on , anytime I hit either the 7 or 1 key , there's a long delay in atc acknowledging my answer.Because of this, I have to hold at the last commanded altitude, when I should have been cleared to much higher. Same with headings; seems like there's a backlog happening here.later in the flight RC will catch up.I have UT running, with traffic density ranging from 50 to 100%.Actually, i noticed the delayed response described above is not related to traffic.Is this…

with Version 3 I used to update the navigation base regularely with the latest AIRAC files provided by Stephan. The database is now provided by Navigraph but I do not see any RC AIRAC files.Question:Now I have RC version 4.3. Do I need to update the Navigation Base (e.g. AIRAC) and if yes where do I get the files.Thanks and regards Kurt

I made a flight today from KDVL (Devils Lake) to KINL (Internation Falls). The field was uncontrolled and I was cleared and told to report to center after passing 2900 ft. This all went well. The flight plan alt was FL290 and my initial alt was given to 6000. I flew at 6000 for about 10 minutes and requested a climb to FL290 and was cleared to FL230. After about 15 minutes I again requested the FL290 and was told that I had to wait for traffic. 10 minutes later I saw the traffic that passed over head at FL280. I understand the reason. Next I was at FL230 and was 30 miles from the airport. I requested a lower alt and was cleared to FL150. From this point on I did not hear …

Hi there!Noticed a strange thing. If I choose to make a Malmo Aviation flight for example the correct callsign Scanwing comes in the drop-down and I can test it and the voice says "scanwing" but if I press OK and then going back it's changed to m and the voice just say "mike" and the flight number. I've heard this on my AI-flights as well. Another airline is Skyways, callsign SkyExpress, but the AI-aircraft just says "sierra". Any idea? Think this happens in both FS9 and FSX./Johnny

JD, If you got a couple of emails from me for registering...sorry. I tried to use the activation window, but when I went back to Outlook I didn't see the email in the sent folder. So I did it again, and again, then I manually sent it to the Register@.... email address. If for some reason you don't or didn't get these let me know and I'll send it to your other address.
