Hello there guys...... I'm looking for a good Video of how RC performs on Flight Simulator 9/X.I've been trying in Youtube w/o luck.btw... if the RC dev team releases a new patch or a new version (exa: 5.0) do i need to buy the product again or not?.Ty in advance.Hernan

I get half way through a flight and I get a runtime error 76Runtime error 76RC.fsuipc.rcv4code.Any ideas on how to fix this?Thanks in advance.

I purchased the download version several days ago and have yet been able to get it to work. I recieve the same runtime error 75 in both FSX and FS9.I can only get as far as the automated weather and thats it. I am running Vista on a dual core. Any help will be appreciated. I have read the other posts regarding this problem and they did not help.Thanks in advance,Steve

Hi: I just reinstalled RCv4 from my CD after having rebuilt my PC. After the installation, I sent the e-mail for the key and I got the reply listed below. Up until now, I was reluctant to try RC, mainly due to it's lack of ground control. I tend to fly to many different airports, which I'm not familiar with and don't have charts for, and have always relied on FS ATC to direct me on the ground, I'm going to miss that in RC! That being said, after the many raves from the community, I finally decided to try it, and have just completed my first flight in my LDS 767 with it, and I have to say, it's everything everybody says it is! Hi: I had to rebuild my PC and start from scratch to reinstall everything. I wanted to reinstall RC4. I already have FSUIPC on my PC and do not want to over write my FSUIPC version with the one provided with RC4. I do not see that as an option in the install choices. How does one get around this?Thanks, Al

I've noticed on the install of RC, there is a file called filecopy.avi with a creation and modify date of 4/24/1998. In this world of trojans and worms, I get very leery of files with dates that precede the Operating system! So JD can you tell me if you know about this, and if so what is it? I did run a virus and spyware check which did show negative! I have this in both the FS2004, and FSX RC folders, and is the only place on my system, I have such files! I'm sure it's probably ok, but just want to make sure!!Thanks!

I'm new at this and hv bn simming for 2 years. I hv heard conflicting talk as to where radar is installed. Is it C:programs or C:? Also the files that are downloaded into fs9..........do any get moved elseware or do they all stay put in fs9? :)

I have One file "runway info" which I assume was downloaded with program. I downloaded "make runways " from Simnet. Make runways has a exe file to be run. when i run it all the results say "failed" Do I need both these files if so how do i fix?

Just purchased Radar contact and trying to use it, I have some troubles with text displays:if I use ADVDISPLAY I like the format in a free section of my panel, but the FS screen is frozen (gauges not moving... FS runs but im not able to see anything moving on the screen). It seems that ADVDISP creates a second fake image of my 2D panel and of the visdible portion of the world outside.if i use FSUIPC to display multilines messages I have always on the screen the green bar showing the last radar contact feedback.Overall also trying to delete ADVDISP i continue to see the ADVDISP voice on the 'Modules' menu. Any suggestion how to sove this? I use FS9 and usually fly Wiclo …

I just got the download version,it seems to be working except for I am the only one it talks to,I have lots of traffic thanks to My Traffic X but I never hear other traffic,and it seems as if planes are landing one behind the other,all bunched up,traffic is set to about 30%.I love this product,is it just not communicating with Traffic?I read the manual but didn't see anything I thought addressed this problem.I do hear the recorded traffic,but none of the planes around me,RC tells me to taxi into position and hold and a plane comes over my head landing..Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

Will v5 allow for CDAs (Continuous Descent Approach)? These are mandatory at London's Heathrow, Gatwick & Stansted airports, except where safety would be compromised.For those who may not be familiar, an a/craft say 25 miles out at say 12000 feet will be instructed to descend to 3000 feet. This instruction is the trigger for the crew to adopt the CDA and descend to that level in one rather than the more traditional stepped descent. Hi,Well, I reinstalled everything. The past 24 hours during the reinstall were brutal. I think I may have isolated the problem. Can someone try this and see if its just my problem or a problem with FS2004. Let me know what video card and drivers you have as well.1. Start FS2004 in widowed mode and change to full screen mode at the Create A Flight screen. Then create a flight to anywhere, with any aircraft, at anytime. Good day.I wanted to suggest a feature to incorporate into the next version of Radar Contact.That is if you could get Mr.Mike Foor and the (FS2Crew) FO to record the dialogues needed so that using both these programs seams more natural.Just a thought. Just purchased and installed 4.3. I can see that this problem has arisen before but none of the fixes on the forum seem to work:1) Opened and closed ATC display.2) Re-assigned keys to ctrl+shift+n3) Made sure controller info has been selected.Running Vista 32 and FSX. All folder permissions set to full control for all users on FSX and RC4. Using FSUIPC4.12 registered. RC4 set to XP compatibility mode and run as administrator.Assistance gratefully received.

I had to reinstall RC4. I ran the 4.01 update which took me to version 4.01 4.0.3737. I then ran the 3831 update and got the following error message---temporay directory 1 of RC4-3831 zipRC3 dat was not found. RC cannot continue. Now when I run RC4 there is a very long delay between responses, making RC4 unusable.What did I do wrong?Thanksjps611

Guys, my RC4 is on the Client computer. I paused and saved the flight in FS9 UI as requested but the program did not creae the *.rcd file as per the tutorial? Any ideas?Thanks.

I'd suspect this has already been answered, but I can't seem to find it using search. I already have a registered version of FSUIPC on board my FS 9.1. Will RCv4 overwrite my current version when I install the new program? Also, is it necessary to always run RC 4 in windowed mode? After undocking and moving various windows to my second monitor I usually return to full screen mode.

Hi all Carried out my first short hop between KPDX-KSEA, and first impressions are good but I still have lots to learn. Will be doing tutorials next. My callsign is American 6 96 in the instructions it states that this should be spoken as "six ninty six" but alas its spoken as individual Numbers. Hello,Well, I got one flight in. Now all I get is FS2004 locking up when I try to place RC4 on a second monitor. As of right now, I cannot run RC4.

Help JDMy rc sort of freezes when it goes to find the flight plan file--keeps going back and forth between open file and file not found--and--the program will not close so that I can reboot it---I need to shut down the computer to close the program--also normal close will not work for computer because rc is still open---must hold the reset button to close the computerWhat do I do?

Hi guys, I have read the manual several times concerning this issue but Im still somewhat confused on the correct settings for the co-pilot to take command of the aircraft. All my plans seem to have the default FS autopilot with most freeware panels out there. Do I need to have BOTH altitude hold AND heading select activated only for this feature to work. I use the NAV via GPS feature and the plane rarley is set to heading unless during approach. But sometimes it seems that the copilot sets the correct attitutde on the autopilot, then instrued and then sometimes he/she seems to not set the altitiude when told so.
