Do I have to register FSUIPC for RCv4 to work ?Tony

A two fold question:1) How far out do I turn on the APP for the ILS approach? I have turned it on when it appears on the screen and last night when I was on approach at KMSY and was about 15m out and turned it on it took me off course and like just went it circles. 2) When I arrived at KAUS and was taxing to the gate and on the taxiway they cleared a AI to taxi to the runway causing it to come right to me. I had to turn onto another ramp exit. Also I was taxing for takeoff at KMSY and they cleared American to taxi to the ramp on the same taxiway I was on to the runway causing me to have to turn off the taxiway and deture back to the taxiway otherwise it would had been a h…

Hi!Had a flight out of MIA last night. Wanted 8L for departure since I was parked at the cargoarea. Discovered that the runwaydesignators in RC and FSX didn't match so didn't know which runway to request.In RC the runways is marked 9L/9R and 8. In FSX 8L/8R and 9. Been checking avaible maps and the markings in FSX seems correct.Using the default FSX scenery in MIA and have made a rebuild of scenery in RC./Johnny

I can't even get started. Well! I got the flight plan loaded then clicked on start RCV. Then what do I do. The manual did not load.Thanks in Advance

I`ve started to use FSnavigator to export flightplans to PMDG`s 737ng and to FS9.Then load FSRC f/p from FS9 and then use PMDG`s 737 FMC to fly the aircraft.I`ve just started flying with a VA using EPireps and so,as i`m not loading an actual F/P into FS9,i`m wondering will this affect the EPirep in anyway?.I`m posting here only because i`ll have problems using RC if the above question is yes.ThanksPaul C.

I have a small problem I'm hopping someone will be able to help me with. I am using FlyTampa's KTPA scenery and for some reason runways 36L and 36R are not showing up in RadarContact. I get 18L and 18R to show up as well as 09 and 27.I have tried every AFCAD file I could find for this scenery and I have rebuilt the database in Radar Contact using the latest version of makerunways after installing each one.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all.I'm a brand new user of RC4. When I downloaded and unzipped the folder,(into FSX), the expected rc43.exe was there but also two other files called rcv43-0.bin and rc43-1.bin. What am I supposed to do with these two files? What are they for?PS. Sorry if the answer is in the PDF manual but I haven't got round to fully delving into it yet. Well, it is 294 pages long.Thanks.

Hi Fellow Simmers:)Since FSX came on the scene last year I have not used RC.I now have reinstalled RC 4.3X and slowly getting back to the hang of things.My question is how do I hide the adventure screen or have the screen return to the desktop.I have accidently moused over the screen and it has disappeared from the desktop and I have to restart RC to have it reappear.One last question: I believe I can change the text colour from Red to white which makes it a little easier for these old eyes to read, can someone point me in the right direction.Tks. for any assistance, RC works as advertisedKenny G.

Have installed RC - after lay off with FS sims - and used the option full FSX and FS9.Have updated database in FS9 but FSX will only update 2 airpots after running thro all the scenery files ??What have I done wrong ?Any help will be appreciated - thanks

Anybody running these 2 together? I actually like the co-pilot better in RC4. Am a little dissapointed with FDC. too bad they didnt have a demo first.

I already know the answer, but WOULDN'T IT BE NEAT IF...we could engage RC4 in the cruise so we could just get the let-down and approach? Bypass all the "gotta be there" hassle en route... yeah, that would be neat...

Several times when I'm handled from Ground to Tower, it works out to be the end of my flight.Tower just doesn't authorize me to do anything, neither to enter to the rwy nor to hold short. All this in spite I followed every instruction Ground gave me, most of the time to hold short in the highspeed taxiway.thks

I am a new user to this program and I am still learning the ropes. After I have followed the instructions to climb to my cruise altitude the ATC tells me repeatedly (every 30 seconds) to maintain my cruise altitude. It never stops even if i acknowledge. Is this normal?

If I request a specific runway on the control page of the flight planwill you direct AI to that runway as well?Thank you

Is there any way to turn on the taxi indicator in RC? I fly to airports that i'm unfamiluar with the taxiways. It was very useful when I had MS ATC activated.TnxEddie

John, something that has to be corrected in RC4: the ATC sector for north-east Italy (from Bologna up) is not Milan, but Padua.Thanks,James

1)Why does always RC, no matter the weather conditions or active rwy in use, grant me the use of the rwy I requested for (takeoff and landing)?2)By using the default FS planner and default FS weather engine, how can I predict which will be the active rwy at my destination?Thank you.

I have Radar Contact v.3 but have never taken the trouble to learn how to use it. I am now planning to try again. Should I just use this or are the new versions significantly better in terms of performance, stability etc? I missed the chance to upgrade by more than a year! :(Also, does anyone know if there are compatibility issues with FSCopilot and Radar Contact? I fly on VATSIM and my access to this is via FSCopilot and FSInn. I do not plan to run VATSIM or FSCopilot at the same time as Radar Contact! I only want to know if there are problems running Radar Contact if either of the above are installed.Thanks.John

Can someone tell me how to obtain progressive taxi instructions in RC4? Also, why do I hear FS ATIS simultaneously with RC4 ATIS?Thanks!

Hopefully someone has had the same problem as me. I first have run this problem with the forum for "NaturalPoint" who makes a Device and software called "TrackIR" which allows you to turn your head in all directions thus eliminating the need for key strokes to change viewing directions.
