How come when I hit the rebuild scenery database and everything seems to go fine and I start up fsx and there are no concourses or terminal buildings. Runways and taxiways are fine it's just the buildings.Thanks.

Just installing 4.3, haven't had a chance to experiment yet. Do I still need to get ADNDISP from schiratti.Thanks

Hi all,I've only had Radar Contact for a couple of days and so this problem may well be down to me! Please can someone tell me why on a flight from Manchester egcc to Belfast City egac firstly on departure I am assigned runway 6R for takeoff when the active is 6L and similarly, on approach to Belfast I am assigned runway 04 to land on when the active is runway 22? This is a flight I do at lease twice a week and so know from experience and also from listening to atis which is the active runway at both airports.When landing at Belfast City for example I also know that in fair weather conditions the default atc will always assign an ils app to runway 22 and (for some stran…

Is it possible for RC to tell you which approach or tower to contact rather than just saying JETLINK 511 contact approach on xxx.xx and say like JETLINK 511 contact Austin approach on xxx.xx or Austin tower on xxx.xx

With my travel schedule I am always behind the times. I have 4.1 and I have upgraded the PC to vista. In between 4.1 and 4.3 is there anything else I need to get for RC to work on vista.Many Thanks

Hi everyone,Yesterday I bought RC 4.3 for my FSx on Vista (32 bit). Already spent more then 5 hours trying it to work. First I had some problems with FSUIPC. I re installed FSx/RC4.3/FSUIPC and now FSUIPC seems to work (correctly?). When I start RC4.3 and opens my FP, customize the setting and start RC 4.3 (FSx running) and go to FSx the screen appears and says RC is ready to use (or something). Then I can choose for CLD and ATIS. But when I push 1 or 2 it says standby and nothing happens... Then the previous screen appears again CLD/ATIS. Hi all,1. Time acceleration in CRZ, Is it possible with out upsetting the program?2. The program does not allow me to use the (1 & 2) keys with the default "shift p" Push-back feature. jdToday I flew from aus to msy which i do quiet often. After I was given to approach cleared for ILS rwy10 Otto was flying. He gave the plane back over to me. Knowing that rc will not line you up with the runway I began watching my headings on rc. When 10 and KMSY was at 104 deg I set my heading to such. When it was time to line up for the localizer to take over and I was at FL18 I was watching my GPS and I ended up about 2 1/2 miles off. So this tells me that either rc was off on the heading or my panel was off. This also happened last night when I flew to KJAX. I also had to go missed. RC later did take me to a straight inbound heading whic lined up perfectly. I have to…

Hi allOn two occasions when declaring an emergency I have selected to be diverted to the nearest airport. However, on both occasions the airports that RC selected seemed not to take into account my altitude and by the time I had circled to lose height it would have been quicker to have diverted to another airport which was further away but at a distance that was more suitable for my position.My question is should RC take account of altitude when selecting the divert or is it simply done on a "straight line distance" basis?I'm running RC 4.3.3845 for FS9.ThanksIain Smith

I recently took a flight down the east coast of Australia from Hamilton Island(YBHI) to Brisbane(YBBN) and noticed that on 2 or 3 occasions, when slightly off the coast, I got Oceanic UHF chatter. As this is not realistic (losing the centre controller chatter when only 5 - 10 nm offshore) is there some way to change this or would this be classed as a "future request"?

You mentioned that I never have to veer for traffic as RC moves traffic out of my path. I think that I should have to veer once in a while for traffic. That would seem more realistic. Maybe a percentage amount. Something to think about.JimCYWG

I have installed Radar Contact for FSX,disabled my firewall ect,have fusipc 4.20,but somehow the link between RC & FSX is not there, have attached my log which shows a missing link to simconnect. Help would be greatly appreiciated.

Hi,When I use SIDs and STARS (which accounts for most cases), I'd NOTAM the departure and arrival airports so that ATC will allow me to perform the procedures without "deviating" off route.Problem is, that some arrivals start before the point where centre hands me off to arrival, so ATC expects me to follow a leg that goes directly from the last waypoint to the airport. Obviously , when I start preforming the STAR, I'm getting yelled at for deviating.Is there any way to circumvent this, or am I going about it the wrong way?

Hi I just paid and downloaded RC 4.3...but I am not alowed to use it?I have downloaded lots of add ons online, but this is the first time I have had to wait on the developers to "let" me use it when they see fit?! This is idiotic!Why not just have an aoutomated system for registering the #### thing? So now I have to sit here and wiat after paying 55 dollars, had I known this i would have NOT bought this software =//Jez!

Why is it and i'm still new learning all this that when approach vector you to a runway and you set your NAV1 for that ILS then they vector you to another runway?

Hello:I am having some major issues running the program. After I click on the program icon the windows installer for a different program appears (Turbo Tax its Deductible 2006). This box prompts for a different path to the folder containing the installation package for that program. I have to click cancel multiple times. The program will run (for a while) but ADV Display flickers constantly and even disappers before the program eventually quits.I have completely unistalled my Turbo Tax software and also uninstalled and reinstalled Radar Contact but the problem is still occuring. I am currently on Version 4.2 3831I don't appear to have any problems with other programs that…

Hello All!On occasion, like most of us, I have a CTD with FS9. Fortunately, with Pete Dowson's autosave.dll and the right aircraft, i.e., the PMDG 747, you can restart FS9 and continue where you left off.Unfortunately though, if flying with RC4, while it will re-acknowledge existence of my flight after the restart and continue where it left off, I'm unable to respond back to RC. That is, if for some reason I wish to request a different altitude, the keystroke command is not recognized.Is there some way to make RC recognize keystrokes/commands that I wish to advise it of when such situations occur?Thanks.Ed Lin, D.O.S.

Hi, I got RC a few weeeks ago and on the whole it is great. However I sometimes run into problems with having a very long wait before recieving instructions.When flying out of Queenstown in New Zealand I get told to line up and wait and then don't get a take-off clearance. I have waited up to ten minutes but still no clearance. I have then started my take-off roll and then get a clearance when about halfway down the runway.Is this a problem with RC recognising my position on the runway?I have also had a similar thing in Cairns, Australia. I was told to hold position while an AI aircraft took off. After the aircraft had gone I didn't recieve any further instructions. I wai…

I recently reformatted my hardrive and reinstalled RC4. When I cut an pasted the reg # the program closes. When it reopens it goes to the reg page again. Thanks

Funny thing just happened. I was flying the PSS A319 from ULLI to EGKK. I programmed the fmc with the fs9 created flightplan., stationed the a/c at ULLI, minimized fs and started RC4.3. I reached cruise level, and handed the comms to Otto. I came back an hour later to find fs9 had crashed. RC was minimized to the task bar below. Since RC now uses the new ADVDISP in FSUIPC is it possible to make it invisible so it does not appear when taking screen shots? With the old version if it was docked in the main panel view it was not visible when in outside view so you could take screen shots without it being in the shot.Andy S
