Hi,Long time user of RC but I'm having major issues at Oakland airport. I'm wondering if somebody could fly this short route from KLAX to KOAK using the following route:KLAX.VNY.GMN.PXN.KARNN.BORED.BUSHY.SUNOL.KOAK Fly at FL280. Force RC to land at rwy 29.I've flown this route 5 times in the past 2 days and have yet to be vetored to the ILS. I will be told by approach to descend to 4000 expect rwy 29, no problem. Then almost there controller tells me to fly a heading 310 then I never hear again from the controller until finally I ask for Missed approach. 310 heading takes you compeletely away from 29.Just for grins I changed routing to VNY.GMN.PXN.OAK and it worke…

HelloBeen away for 6-7 months and just installed vista, so reinstalling everything! just you an activation request too.My RCv4 disk is about a year old. Can't make out from your website if i can download the 4.3 without repurchasing?Or, do i still have to install all the various 'in between' updates?Looking forward to using rc again.Thanks

Hi,Have been using RC4 on a laptop networked to a P4 via Widefs. Purchased a new machine and can't remember how to point the Rebuild DB to the right path. RC4 finds FS9 on the new machine so that part is fine...I just don't remember hpow to set the path for it to find the FS9 files on my new machine.Any help would be appreciated.ThanksJeb

just completed my 1st flight with RC. the flight KSAN-KFSO LDS767-300PEBLE3.SXC VTU RZS J501 BSR BSR2/0103This short flight gave me the chance to practice with RC and to find out how I would get on flying the 76 and keeping up with and out of trouble with ATC.The DP was pretty straight foreword with alts and fly headings from ATC then @ or after 18k a track too my filed plan then own navs.was held for traffic at 23k (nice touch) a interesting approach! being given a decent early to 24k then pd (pilots discretion) for 17k easy enough,then a little test be at 11k 250knts or less in under 30mls was needed by ATC and some quick work with then DS (decent speeds)got me through …

When being told to change frequencies, there is a delay if another airplane is being talked to on the same channel which leads to "U#####124, I say again, contact ####center on ####". Are there plans to eliminate this where you can immediately leave that channel and go to the channel you are told to go to without irking the controller?Great Product!!!

John, This could be my isp/s being blocked by your filters,but I purchased RC 4.3 yesterday and have not received any mail with the download or key links?reading the forum it seems that (freeserve)the isp I used to buy RC gives you problems, and you recommend Google mail.I have set up such but still no mail. so I have had to post thinking that you could be having problems with these isp's?perhaps not just me! but other customers could also be unable to get in touch? Hi,I'm considering getting RC as the default FS ATC is pretty poor at times which you all are obviously aware of.A good sign for RC is that it has an active support forum with frequent input from the developer. You have no idea how much better that makes me feel about buying a piece of software! I just purchased RC4; my first flight went well, but after taking a break and loading up for another flight RC keeps giving me the following error when I try to import a flight plan:Run-time error '62':RadarContact.rcv4module.get_departure_informationI did a little searching in the forum for this error and it appears to be tied to data files. To answer in advance, I did not edit or mess with any files. After the problem started I did try the "Rebuild Scenery DB", and I hope I did not screw up my install by doing that!Any help would be appreciated.Douglas

In my last two flights (FS9 for both)( Vista Ultimate), during the flight I got Run Time error 5 and RC stopped functioning. This happened during descent phase of flight. How do I repair this?John

Hi, Last night I was happily riding the ILS to Quebec Jean Lesage CYQB (and was cleared to do so) when an AI plane overtook me 800 ft below and landed in front of me. He was also getting his clearances from the controller. Not surprisingly I got a go around at the last minute.I have AI interaction and AI chatter enabled. Is something wrong with my setup??Louis

Ive really struggled to get RC4 working properly on FS9, but i set it up with FSX SP1 today and managed to finish the first tutorial flight KDSM-KORD.Big pat on the back from RC when i hesitatingly asked for the flight critique!! Very happy!

I put in my key, RC shuts down and i try to restart as suggested in the email i got with my key. when it restarts it comes back to the registration spot again saying that its unregistered. I love this program but the number of controllers at each centre is very annoying! Is there a way to cut it back to one controller per centre?Up the Irons!!
