Hi,I got a very strange problem. I use rc4 via a widefs setup. When I start rc4 and load a flight plan everything ok. But when I start rc then my plane is repositioned somewhere on the airport and is also half sunk into its position, FSX is also paused. When I stop rc4 and reset the situation in FSX and try it again the plane stays where it is. This happens only the first time after I started WideClient. I checked and double checked the versions of fsuipc and wideclient but they are ok. Any idea what this could be? Boeing Cockpit Projecthttp://members.chello.nl/~r.vanderwiele/

Hi AllHavn't been using RC for past six months and can't remember key I hit to hide the ATC window.Can someone please advise how I can insert a new key so that I can hide the transparent window.Tks. for any assistance.Kenny G.

Could some member of the beta team or perhaps john or doug comment a bit on the upcoming vfr features, particularly when transiting controlled airspace? With MS ATC, about the only thing we have is "Cleared through the (type) airspace". Do we have things like vectors or such to provide the variability RC is so famous for particularly in faa class b airspace?Ilari

I am missing both the airline Binter Canarias and callsign Binter in RC4. I can see that the wav Binter is present and I have read from tons of other posts here about adding callsigns to the c4.csv file.I just want to be sure before adding that I am doing this right:1. Open c4.csv with notepad.2. Enter: binter,binter,Binter Canarias,0, 0 Does this entry have to follow the alphabetical order in the file or can I just add this as last entry?3. Save c4.csv from notepad.

Can FSX Radar Contact fly a SID or STAR directly from the Flight Plan and not by also loading a saved Flight?

Would it be possible, in a future version of this excellent programme, to have what I might call "controller area accent selection". This might be automatic or selectable by the user.For example, I start a flight in the UK and overfly France and,say, Switzerland so I select UK and other European controllers. This means that with v4.3 I simply de-select all American controllers. However, this results often in my pilot talking to a centre man in France who has a perfect English accent. It would be good if the programme could, by detecting where I am, select the appropriate controllers. I realise, jd, that you cannot have an accent for every territory but if when overflying …

Using RC 4.3 with FSX and Vista 32, with a registered copy of FSUIPC.I just started having an issue where RC won't issue climb instructions all the way to my cruise altitude. For example, my current flight, KSFO-KIAD, has a cruise altitude of 37,000. RC gave instructions to 23,000 then ceased. I was able to request 37,000, so not a major headache, but I know something's a bit off here.My hunch is there's something goofy with FSX, but I don't know where to look. I say that because ASX has also stopped reporting average winds aloft for my route.My cruise altitude is clearly stated in my flight plan (FS), and appears correctly in the navlog.While I don't know if the problem …

Hey,I would like to have Jon Boe V4's voice as my pilot voice but there seems to be two different voices linked to the same Jon Boe's name. I'd like to have the Chatter Pilot Jon Boe instead of the Pilot/Controller Jon Boe.Is it possible to set it up that way? I tried listening to them in the Customize Voices but they appear to be really different.Thank you!

I can't seem to get it to work, does it? (I have V 2.14) put the .dll into the FSX modules folder, but nothing shows in sim, I have FSUIPC installed and that shows (Now under an "add on" menu) but no Adv Dis.Did I get something wrong or are we awaiting a newer version?Cheers! :)

The rc4.3 box used inflight which controls the communication with the ATC is not showing the text (font) properly. There are missing letters and a bad arrange of the words.Any advice on this?Thank you.PD: How can I sepparate the green box used for rc4.3 from FsPassengers and ActiveSky. They're using exactly the same box for all of their announcements and that keeps me from chatting with the ATC at times since I cannot see the rc options.

hey folks :)i came across a little problem here for me basicly i want to fly with the holding options set to weather so there could or could not be a holding i guess you know what i mean BUT my problem is whenever i switch that option to weather it automaticly turns back to OFF during the flighti turn it on when launching RC with fs already running and it stays on weather for a while but when i check it after a while it set itself back to OFF or ON and i dont wanna fly holdings all the time :(so my question is simple is there a way to permanently turn it to weather? or is there a fix so it wont jump back to OFF or ON? any help would be greatly appreciatedthanks in advanc…

Hello All -Kind apologies if this has already been asked. I think may have screwed my AIRAC files up (and like a moron, i didn't back them up).So here goes..1.) I downloaded the Airac 0808 and installed the vendor specific data (i.e. PMDG, Wilco, etc).2.) Like a moron I didn't backup the existing Airac data3.) Now my runways in the FMC's don't match. i.e. I was flying from KORD (departure runway 9R was showing up incorrectly on the PFD, almost lining up next to the aircraft) to TNCM (Cleared to land Runway 9, but FMC shows available runways 10/29.Do i need to rebuild the RC4 database? Or am I forgetting to install the AIRAC for RC4?Sorry my stupidy! Thanks,

I have moved all my FS things to a new computer incl RCv4. Now when I start RCv4 in FS9 I get the window and it displays correctly. It also works correctly but there is no sound/voices. I have all the things in FS set as per the RC instructions. Please help me work out what I am doing wrong as I am eager to get flying again.Many thanks.Andy S

RC 4.3 in use during a flight from LFPG to KBOS, SCUPP3 STAR for rwy 4R, which is vectors after SCUPP intersection. RC vectors me laterally OK, but only clears me down to 3,000 AGL, which is above the GS. When I am turned over to tower, final instruction is to descend to 2,500 feet, and I have to really hustle the AP (PMDG 747-400X) to get below the GS.I flew this flight two times.
