Hi!On two flights now in Europe the controller vectors me to the final but at FL8000! I have no chance to descend 6000-6500 feet with in a few miles for a safe landing.Usually I am at app. 1500-2500 feet when turned on to final?Whats wrong?First time was when landing at LFML and now it is at Turin airport.Regards//William

Hi JD and Co!I am flying from EDDF to EDDM.When told to decend to 11000 I do as told.But controll says I am busting my alt?!I know that europe has a different setting.So I use the Preassure selection knob below the analog alt indicator to set it to QNH 999. But it does not help I still keep busting my alt!I am sure this has worked before. Whats wrong? =//RegardsWilliam

I have a question regarding modifying frequencies in the file f4.csv.I have already made a backup copy, so nothing can go wrong. I'm also adjusting the file with Notepad.I would like to change some frequencies for certain airports. But I don't know in which order the frequencies are listed in the file f4.csv (e.g. first frequency is for ATIS, second for Clearance, etc.)Can you tell me what the order of the frequencies is in the file f4.csv?I know the frequencies can be changed on the Controller tab, but I would like to change certain frequencies permanently (otherwise I have to change them every time on the Controller tab).Jon

Hi,Trying to understand Inno Setup.One of the last to fill in data is the path to [Files] Source... and I get an error message that it cannot find the files.Due to a lack of a step-by-step tutorial for making a simple .exe I cannot always understand what is asked during the setup.I like to make an .exe in which you can choose between 3 items (3 different files) and for each choice again 2 possibilities you can check.Perhaps I had to make new maps or so... ?Can somebody give me guidance please ?Thanks. When I save a flightplan then it is without any Sid because I think that in real life the controler gives you the runway and the Sid to fly. (I can be wrong ofcourse)So I save a flightplan with my first waypoint more then 30Nm away from the departure airport. When the controler gives me the runway to depart from I decide what Sid I am going to use and I place it in my FMC and close any discontinuity. In RC4 a place a forced DP without Alt. restrictions.When I fly this sid the controler says that I am off course, but I have to fly the complete Sid and that is mostly not straith towards my first waypoint.Who can give me the solution to this problem and the way to do this th…

Yesterday I try to make a flight from EGLC (London City) but when I had the clearence for taxi to the runway. There was an aircraft before me and didn't going further to his place to start, runway 28. I restart, the second time it works fine. But when I'm at the beginning of runway 28 and ready for take off, another plane comming on the runway to taxi to my place so I can't take of.I made another flight from another airport to EGLC, before I land there was another plane taxi on the runway. So I can't land. What is that?

i have recently reinstalled rc4, and now in the text box the only information i have is the next waypoint. i have no information for example to choose a different altitude, request a runway, or emergencies etc. any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I loaded my flight & .rcd file this morning and everything worked perfectly on my flight. When I had to go to work, I saved it, and the window said it was saved, and then closed down. When I checked the Flight Simulator Files a bit ago, it wasn't there. It did save the FLT & WX but no .rcd. Question: After saving, in what order should things be shut down? I shut down FS first, but I'm wondering if I should have shut daown RC first.

I am using RC4 for both FS9 and FSX, in FS9 works OK, also it worked in FSX, but now when I open it and select a flight plan, an error message appears, it says "Run-time error 75 radarcontact.rcvmodule_write_callsigns".-Also Makerunways.exe which is in the FSX folder, doesnt open, and when trying the rebuild scenery db option, after entering the FSX path, other error message appears with "runttime error 75 Path/file access error" text.- What should I do ?

hi,im running rc4 on fs9.1, in the about radar contact box it reads radar contact v4.01, also when i start rc4 it reads 4.0.3737. do i have the latest version for running with fs2004. thanks,jim

Hi AllI've just re-installed RCv4 on a client PC. I've registered and obtained a new key and all seems fine until I come to run it.I just get Run-time error '713': class not registered. You need the following file to be installed on your machine.MSSTDFMT.DLL.Apart from doing the obvious, can anyone give me any pointers what's wrong and how to fix it.Thanks

I received RC and loaded it and used it..but I can't get the save system to work correctly. So far I'm just trying it in FS9. Everything works as it should except, if I save the RC file (Ctrl-Shift-;, it saves it, but when I come back to load it the screen says no files match. If I explore my Flight Simulator file I can see the files are there, but RC apparently doesn't see them. The files even show up in My Saved Flights?. Maybe it's putting them in the wrong place...I'm just not sure. Maybe I'm not doing something right (more likely).

hello.i have my RC4 a long time ago to work, on my old pc with WIN XP it had a mistake, when i will stopped the session. RC4 doesn't want shut down.now i have a new pc with Vista home and the same problem , it's not so immeditley, but it's make me nervous.the other bad thing is the sound, anywhere what i try in the FS9 options, the voices are very small.does anybody knows, how i can voices from real radarcontacts for greek-destinations ?last but very important: i can not hear the other aircrafts ?any ideas of this problems, if you have fun answer me for a lot of thanksbest regards from cretejorgo

I try to ignore the altimeter/QNH messages from ATC and using the normal standard for Europe 1013 mb and I'm not pressing the B key in FS. But I make a flight and ATC said, watching your altitude etc. How is that possible?

i am having troubles with the barometric setting in FSX and RC.When i download realtime with the FSX the ATIS from ATC doesnt match the ATIS with FS. For example i listen from the ATIS 29.27 anth after pressing the B key the baro sets to 29.50This issue also happens when i use active skyx.This issue never happens when i use a predeterminated weather scenary.Thanks

I am installing RCV43 on a wideclient PC. I have FSX and FS9 installed in the default locations on the FS computer. When I run the install on the wide client PC I get an error message "Registry Key for FS X not found, please browse to your FS X directory, and press OK." I shared the Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator X and User/Application Data/FSX folders. I browsed out to the root of Flight Simulator X and later on in the install it prompts me again with the same error message. Any ideas?Kind regards,Jerel

I'm expecting my RC in the mail any day now, and have been reading & re-reading the pdf manual. I have two questions I can't find answers to. First, can the RC window which gives you the menu choices by turned off and if so how? I like to take screenies, and would need to occasionally turn it off.Second question: Is there any problem with using RC on FS9 and FSX? I fly both, and would like to use RC on both.

i cant see the waypoints (exampl: cid) in the Rc display...instead i only see numbers 1,2,3, the ring sounds when i pass over the waypints, but i cant see the name displayed.Usinf FSX, PMDG 747 and last version of RC

My native languaje is no english. as hearing impaired i am having troubles.I need to see the text on the green band but after able the display text box. nothin happens. i cant see the green bar displayed on fsx. just bought yestarday and i am tired of trying to display the text, y also enabled the box in the fsuipc module but it doesntwork.Can some one teach me step by step how to configure this on the FSX settings and the RC settings ..Thanks

I was wondering if there is a way of setting Radar Contact so that I get a little more of a chance to set my altitude and heading without getting scolded so quickly.Radar Contact ATC will give me an altitude and immediately I'll begin cranking the knob, but before I get a chance to set it, they are yelling "HAY DORK! I thought I told you to climb to FL200. Were you born a misfit or did it just happen over time!! Now get your butt up there before I have your pc pilot's licensed revoked!"This is making me noticeably insecure and I was hoping there is a setting somewhere that will provide me with a just a wee bit more time to set the altitudes and headings.Thank you,Bob

How it possible that as I hear the ATIS frequency, there is only one landing and departing runway in use for AI traffic and your own plane? I thought that your own plane have there own landing and departing runway?
