Ok, I'm doing CYUL to CYOW via THURO at 14000. After I passed THURO I was ordered PD13000 to which I complied, this was the last time I heard of the ATC, I landed in Ottawa and then the ATC came back with Jazz 8929 altimeter 3036..Jazz 8929 altimeter 3036..Jazz 8929 altimeter 3036..Jazz 8929 altimeter 3036 and on and on. What may have caused this? I was flying the CRJ 200 from Wilco.

I'm running FSX. Most of the time I enjoy flying full procedures and ask for IAP and have no problems. When I let RC vector me in sometimes it takes me on ridiculously long vectors. For instance today, I was on a short flight from Palm Springs to Long Beach in the Pilatus PC-12. I used TEC route PSPM6, about 125 miles due west. About a thrid of the way into the trip I get vectored on a 100 mile round trip course to the south and back. No problem, just wasted gas and time. Rather than turn me back on course I then get vectored 150 miles north of course until I would have crashed into a mountain range and ATC has the nerve to lecture me about deviating right before impact. …

I was wondering whether it would be possible for RC to monitor what AI is doing a bit more and give more detailed instructions (even if not exercising actual control) possibly by just repeating instructions given by MS ATC such as "American 215, turn left heading 150". Would certainly improve the feel a lot. Have you managed to improve the chatter any? (for v5 that is)

jd,I am doing the tutorial 3.I got some strange reaction from fsx.If I do the KSDF_KATL flight WITHOUT giving control to Otto , the flight is perfect.When I give Otto the A/C commands then the problems start: when getting back the commands:No ground control after landing (rudder turns but the A/C goes straight).I cannot reverse the engines after landing.CTRL Q activates or desactivates the approach A/P (instead of elevating the pilot seat).There are probably other abnormalties but I did not noticed them.This happened with all the variations of tutorial 3. Hi all,I posted about this awhile back, when FS9 (WinXP, FSUIPC V3.81 Registered) crashed on me and the error was due to an atc.dll error during a flight from KDEN - KJMS. I got a very fast response stating that this was due to something beyond Radar Contact's control (a frequency glitch). Later I flew the same route again and was able to avoid the error by requesting an approach before being handed over from MSP center (don't remember the freq) to MSP center 124.20, which is the local center freq for KJMS.Just now, I was on a long flight (for me) in a Viscount 810 KORD - KLIT, after close to 2.5 hrs of flight (non-accelerated) I was handed off from center to approach...a…

I must say Ive been thinking about getting this program for a long time and I finally broke down and bought it a few weeks ago.This is simply amazing! Gone are the days with default ATC.. I can't imagine why any simmer who likes to keep simming as real as possible would not get this program.I am truly impressed with the realism of this product. Is it possible to add callsigns in RC?Since FSX now has US. Navy, Marine Corp., Air Force, Coast Gaurd, and NASA aircraft it would be nice to add in these callsigns.

My problem is that when i attempt to do a save flight, the only way i can get anything showing in my FLIGHT SIMULATOR FILES folder is to do a default SAVE FLIGHT within FS but when i try to go to that saved flight, what is in the folder is a file which is labled simply .rcd not for instance CYVY-APP-1.rcd selecting the plain just .rcd file does nothing.Any suggestions?

Hi I have been reading the reviews of RC v4 and I am quite interested to say the least. I always fly with FSX but have become frustrated with the default ATC.Being from the UK I fly a number of UK airlines, but not exclusively, plus one other now defunct airline for obvious reasons but could someone tell me if their callsigns are included in RC v4 before I purchaseEasy - for EasyjetChannex - for Jet2Wardair - now part of Canadian but used by me for obvious reasons.I take it that I cannot edit any .cfg file to add callsigns without any .wav files. Is there a published list of all the callsigns included?ThanksPhil

First of, I wanted to thank you for a great product, I have been flying with RC for the past year and loving every bit of it.My first question is regarding heavies, is it normal that RC4 does not say for example United 896 heavy to the AI planes? Do I have to correct something or is it something I cannot correct?If I turned off controllers with British accents for flying domestically in the US, is it a little glitch that once in a while a controller or AI pilot of US domestic airline have these accents? HiFirstly, thanks for such a fabulous program - I've been using it for only a couple of weeks, and it far exceeds my expectations.However, I'm having some difficulty loading a saved .rcd file. I open FSX, load the saved flight, then open RC, click on the Load saved button and select the required rcd file. The green loading line begins,goes to the first green dot then nothing happens for a long time. I've tried closing RC and retrying the load, but with the same result. But here's the strange thing: Eventually I get a screen message "Cannot load XXXXX.rcd". I click OK, and RC immediately loads into FSX!!What am I doing wrong?jaje

I've been using Radar Contact for a few days now, and I must say that I'm quite satisfied with it. At first I thought that working without the text display (as in default ATC) was going to be an issue, but I must say that I'm already used to just hearing the controllers without any text at all. Within the last week fs9 is freezing up when i load a flightplan using the following. i use flightaware to obtain the f/p, next i use fsbuild, and radar contact to generate the plan. in fs9, i load the plan in that format and load into the fms lately for the e-170/190. now when i click okay in fs9 to exit the flightplan generator the sim freezes up and i have to use ctrl-alt-delete to escape. however, when i generate a f/p strictly using fs9 it loads fine. any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have just purchased and installed RC 4 when it works its great.Problem is when i run rebuild sceanery DB i get a message Total airports =28 runways =91I had a look through the forum and noted a few threads with almost the same problem and i downloaded the latest versuion of makernys and installed it to my FS 9 folder.. but im still getting the same problemHelp please i want to fly some place else haha

I just re-installed RC after a years absence (on new hardware) and am getting registration request emails bounced."This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed. [email protected]" My old key seems to crash the registration form as I guess its new the hardware. I'm using Vista 32bit btw. Has the firm gone bust? On multiple occasions i save my flight and can resume it no problem in fs9 but rcd file will not load. The file name i have there is an old flight which i overwrote on this recent flight.Unfortunately it was a long flight i now need to restart as i can't have rc for approach and landing. What am I doing wrong, assuming i am?
