I have the holding option for only for weather always on. But I fly in some bad weather but I have no holding cause some bad weather at the airport or something. How is that possible and in what weather gives the ATC an holding?B.t.w. Are these holdings, real holdings at some points in a map?

Hi I installed rc4.3(disc) into fsx last week and got the key from you and all was well.I had to reinstall fsx today and using the same key again reinstalled rc4.3 also.But on starting rc4.3 after calling up the flightplan and clicking 'start rc' I get the message 'IPC request contains bad data,retry/cancel' and after trying different flightplans still no joy. I fly from Cologne to Amsterdam with a Learjet 45. Everything going smoothly. But when I must decent from ATC to 16.000 ft I have some problems, ATC says: watch your altitude, your altitude is 16.000. But I was already on 16.000 ft. ATC repeat it 4 times, than I must switch to Amsterdam Radar. I must decent to 12.000 ft, but also Amsterdam radar repeat 4 times: watch your altitude etc. But I was on 12.000 ft already. What's that? I have this problem for the second time in a row now. But I don't no what it is. Please, someone have an answer for me?

Hi Everyone,,,Was just looking at my directory holding my FS2004 flightplans. While there, I noticed there were a number of files w/ a .RC4 file extension. I'm pretty certain they are related to Radar Contact, but could anyone advise re: the purpose of these files. With that, are these files temporary in nature, i.e. are they created each time a RC4 flight is taken? Thanks for the info,orbmis

I have ordered RC but have not used it yet. A friend of mine has however, and we can't figure out how to save a flight in progress and then return to it with RC picking up where we left off. He says he can't get a RC file to save along with the two files that FSX saves. What might we be doing wrong?

HiCan you please help me with following two questions on reinstalling RC4?1. Can RC4 be installed for both fs9 and fsx on the same machine-currently I have it for fsx only.2. Hi JD and Co!I have a quick question which is probably real easy to solve.I have just taken off from KLAX 25R on a flight to KLAS.I chose No alt restrictions. I am using the Feel there 737 PIC FMC.In the LEGS page it says "Vectors" below the two first waypoints.And on the EFIS the magenta flight path abruptly ends. I guess this is cause RC controllers will vector be to the waypoint after at says "vectors", which is called "SLI" in the flightplan.RC has me fly way out over the pacific ocean and climb before vectoring me back to my original flight path. This does not seem very realistic so Im sure there is something that I have forgotten to do?The same thing happened after …

Where can I download real atc traffic sound files from real traffic all over the world for RC4? I'm tired to hear always the same conversations, again and again.

I recently added the UK Airports and Callsigns by Graham Jackson, and started a flight using the First Choice Callsign of JET SET. I had to change the c4.csv file to get the correct callsign to show to the following:-JET SET,JET SET,First Choice Airways - UK,2 4 1 6 , 12416 is the Flight Number I was operating - not sure on the rest of the entry - I followed what seemed to be the structure.Yet when the pilot spoke he kept saying Juliet as the callsign rather than Jet Set, though the controllers always said Jet Set.When Selecting the callsign in RC the entry was J(et Set) arther than a pure JET SET.Any Ideas as to what is wrong - or needs to be changed?

hello,I've been trying to get the text of the ATC communications displayed on screen, but no luck. I got the checkbox marked in the Radar Contact options (general/"display text" feature), but the text won't show anywhere. The FSUIPC is setup as shown in the user guide (show multiline, hide single line..), and I have unregistered FSUIPC (3.75 in FS9 and the 4.152(?) in FSX). I tried to get text show in both FS9 and FSX. I got some partial results in FS9 but only if I installed AdvDisp in fs9 modules folder - which I understand is not really needed... so, how do I get the text in the standard RC window to show?I did look through the forum, and I searched user guide in detai…

HiNot often i write, but a couple of things puzzles/haunts me.1. In "old days" you were first told to enter the runway, when you had stopped at the designated runway. Today you are told well ahead to line up. Often that is "too well ahead" and stressfull, as another plane comes in for landing. Would be nice if that in a future update or release would be changed back. Sometimes i even have to wait for that plane to land eventhough i have been told to line up, as i can see i won't be able to make it.2. Hi guys, I just purchased radar contact but seem to be having trouble with a few issues, Firstly i seem to have a lot of a1 traffic flying into the airport with no seperation so im wondering if when i installed it have a missed something. Also i dont seem to get much response from the menu control it seems limited, If i change my frequency fia my comm panel i dont seem to change the atc is still talking away what am i doin wrong, and the button for rebuilding the scenery what is that for and the debugging button i dont find the manual to be much help. Hi all,I am a bit puzzled about my last night flight from WSSS to FMEE. ILS approach, I was using ATC for vectoring me. I was passing the airport heading north, and the ATC left me flying north for about 60 miles. Then it turned me around, instructing "Maintain 15 thousand until established on the localizer".I duly complied, seeing a issue ahead. As requested, I maintained 15k until established, which happened some 20 miles from the runway. This resulted in some really unhealthy descent rate and one missed approach when I figured out there is no way getting out of that alive.My two questions are: Should is this considered as bug or was Radar Contact perfectly operational?…

I have been running RC on my second computer for a while and today I just didn't feel like starting it up and when I run RC on my main PC, I get a couple of Installer Errors like it is trying to reinstall itself.. I can cancel the two errors and RC starts and runs fine....If I reinstall it will I have to reregister it again?

Here is a problem I have had for months now, tried to ignore it, but it won't go away. I am using FSX/SP2/Acceleration, Windows XP SP2 and RC4.3 with Makerunways 4.27 and I am not using anything like AI Smooth. I am using Renk's Traffic X, but this has happened equally with Ultimate Traffic, so it's not the AI traffic program. Hi AllJust got rc4 and must say it's very impressive piece of soft ware.especially the option to hand radio to co pilot and pause sim near destination. Not read the manual fully-yet.Can some one please tell me what is the best way to save a flight and than reload it.I am using the fsx save option.To reload I start the saved flight in fsx and than reload the rc4 saved flight.Some times I get error message saying rc4 flight not loaded.Any help will be appreciated.Qas

can anyone help im using pmdg 747 add on and naturally the flightplanning in fsx when trying to use pmdg fmc is diabolical. Ive been told to try radar contact and im very interested what id like to know has anyone tryed vox atc and if so does it allow you to file a realistic flight plan that can be used sucessfully with the fmc in the pmdg 747 could anyone help me with this qyestion b4 i purchase either thanks Brett

Does RC also put AI aircraft in the hold?I.e at EGLL on a busy day is it possible to see ac at various vors in a holding pattern?
