I am currently using a TNT2 32 meg graffics card to run Fly2. I have available a 64meg Voodoo 5.5 card but before installing this I would be interested in any experiences people may have had with card positive or negative.

I am amazed at how many airport taxiways do not fully connect to their associated runways. I've downloaded dozens of TerraModels airports. I've installed updated taxiways when they're called for. Sometimes taxiways line up perfectly.Sometimes they're totally off.Can someone who understands this phenomenon (and a way to fix it without major editing skills) help explain? How can I control the altitude? There is no vertical rate and altitude setup like in other planes. Is it just like for the Flyhawk? With the Yoke and the arms? :-)And what is the radar altimeter and how does it works?Sorry I could not find these answers in old posts on several forums, neither in the manuals.Thanks for your help.RegardsRakham

Has anyone tried any of Lago's addon Georender sceneries with FS_Import? I'm interested in getting Ranger Creek into Fly!II and I'm thinking that if I buy Georender 1 for FS2k2 and use FS_import, I should get the best of both worlds.Anyone tried any of Lago's stuff in Fly!II?Pieter

Hello everyone,I've just uploaded version 3.3 of C4TO.DLL. Hopefully, this will fix some of the more quirky problems that some folks have been encountering. Of those flight plans that were causing problems, I completed a flight from EDDM via ERACH via KEMPTEN via ZURICH EAST to LSZH without losing contact with the controllers. Please let me know if this version does indeed fix the "overflight" problems. Cheers, Tony

Hi,I've just purchased Fly!II in Australia, and downloaded all the updates from Avsim. When I try to install them, I get the error message "Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match."I've tried to install Feature updates 1 through 4, FlyII152-210update and Fly2update230, all with the same error message.Flypatch240 unzips to a series of files which I've been afraid to move to the Terminal Reality folder in C:Program Files.The Fly2.exe does not give a version # in properties, just a creation date which seems to be when I installed it on my system, and a modified date of June 14 2001. Got back a bit ago from a very relaxing evening flight, actually stopped by I67 and picked up my neice for a quick run to Greensburg for an ice cream. This package like all the rest includes a bit of the surrounding area around I67. Just uploaded the first of many aiports for the Ohio Scenery Project. Bolton Field (TZR) about 15 miles soutwest of Columbus, Ohio. How far the runway lights should be visible given that visibility is clear and the slider in FLY2 is set to 60 miles. I noticed in a clear night runway light is only visible within 5 miles from the airport however the buidings, tower in the airport are visible about 10 miles (the runway also appears within 5 miles) from the aircraft. In real life within what range (distance and height) can you see the runway lights in a clear night? Can this be tweaked in FLY2?chrisrpll
