The next global tile in the Carolinas Project is now finished - I will be uploading the pack this evening. The Johnson City tile continues to the east from the Knoxville tile, centering on Johnson City and Elizabethton, TN. Following the Cherokee and Pisgah National Forests to the southwest takes you through Greenville, TN into the Smokies. Hello To all the Ts2.1 User.Problems has arisen agian.......As by looking at the attached pic, There seems to me like TS2.1 Was finished , And looking at the paint line that I drew it was finished.But, Looking more closely It seems to keep going , And Going ,Just like the Enegizer bunny :) It is a very Large File, And with 1 pod file in the Scenery folder of 178 MBI clicked the box 1 GOLBAL TILE, But is that for 1 area , Or is that for 1 section of this large file ?this has been runing now for 12 hours ,MAKE IT STOP Thank for your helpJeff

In the recently-uploaded Johnson City Image Repair Kit description in the file library, it states that the kit requires the Knoxville TS Project Pack. This is wrong!!!It requires the Johnson City TS Project Pack, of course!Knoxville has a similar repair kit for its area, and when copying some of the information over for the description, I forgot to edit the name of the file requirement. I must stop packaging uploads at 2:00 a.m. when I am apparently brain-dead!

Bought brand new Fly!2 out of box, and cannot get it to install past 67%. Then get error message "error occurred during the move data process -106" File: STARTUP.pod. Have tried cleaning disc, cleaning harddrive, MS regclean; closed all startups. Using latest directx 9, Nvidia GEforce 2 64MB. Pentium III 650. Maybe defective disc? Tried everything I know of, would like to get back to using Fly; really like the original one.Any help greatly appreciated. Ken W

I am an NVidia user. And with the last few releases of the Detonator drivers, I've found that infrequently, but occassionally, I'll have an unexplained total quite to desktop. There will be no record of the error in GTFO.txt. While I'm not sure there is any relationship to the NVidia drivers, I cannot figure out anything else that has changed on my system other than the regular addition of TerraModels and TerraScenery areas. Note: I am using DirectX9.0a on a WinXP (Home Edition) machine. After upgrading my rig ang getting back to FLYing again and reinstall everything I'm getting this error whenever i teleport to KLAX (see attachment). Hello again! I have not worked on my flight for a long time. Having too much fun testing out the Staggerwing! But now I have resumed my flights.Leg eight is behind me! I am now at Bismark, N.Dakota. Found a interesting feature on the PcXII too. If you program a destination on the GPS, and press the Nav selector on the HSI controlls, you will come to a fm(something, can't remember) and it will track the destination airport on the 360 HSI! It's nifty!

Hi guys :-wave Sadly my website was hacked the other day, and a message was left saying I had left Fly!II for MS2002/4.... Hello my finds and a warm welcume. I have had crash in Cessna while my lesson was running I hurt my leg and my left one too. It fell off the runway while I dive for cover but the instructor will be fine I think.Im haveing some rests for a while now I will finish akll my scenery in Fly. Hopping you all do well. Ivor

I ran out of room for Terrascene scenery (have the 65% of the west coast US finished and then San Diego back to Phoenix/Tucson). It is so cool to re-create flights I have taken and recognize what I see on the ground. I added an 80 gig hard drive, formatted it then transferred the whole Terminal Reality folder over to it. So far everything is running fine. BTW since making the last render changes posted elsewhere I have not had another CTD. I really dig this sim and am saddened that there will not be any further generations. With the Terrascene produced scenery the only thing lacking is a smoother, zone specific weather generator so you could fly in to weather, and i…

G'Day!Knows anybody, how can I changed the ground visibility in Fly!2K at the final approach? At the final approach I can see the taxiway and runway lights near 5 miles or later. But really you can see it maybe 10 miles or so.Can anybody tell me, what I should change???greetingsmare

After messing about with PSP7 & Photoshop7 in my collage course I thought I would do this. Is there the equivalent of the "fly restart" in Fly2?Is there some way of correcting elevations? I have done some work on scenery textures,taxiways and modelling on my local airport in New Zealand but the glaring error is the landmark hill which is rendered as flat.

I am intending to buy the USB CH Products Pro peddles which I would hope to combine initially with my MS gameport "Precision Pro" Yoke.If anyone is using a similar setup did you have any rudder conflict or other problems and if so how did you resolve them?

I need a new monitor but I don't know what to buy. I consider to buy an 18 inch TFT monitor (e.g. Sony SDM-X82). I read somewhere that the responsetime for gaming should be under 20 ms. But the Sony has a responsetime of 30 ms and the Samsung 25 ms. What are your experiences with TFT monitors and especially in relationship with responsetimes?
